Drake is adamant that he did not beat up Chris Brown last night, claiming he was in the process of leaving the nightclub when the stars' entourages threw down.

Chris Brown's fight with Drake and his posse at a New York club left him with a gash on his chin (he posted a pic of it on Twitter that he later took down).

He says he was leaving when $h!t went down though. His rep said: "[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

"Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began."

Earlier reports indicated, contrarily, that Brown and Drake had been hanging out in the VIP section when Drake began pointing and yelling at Brown.

Brown began yelling back, witnesses say, and that's when members of both entourages rushed in and began shoving each other repeatedly.

With tensions escalating, someone threw a bottle, causing an all-out melee.

It's unclear who threw it, but bedlam erupted and security called the police.

Now, a new witness claims it was a rapper hanging out with Drake, Meek Mill (pictured below), who was screaming at Chris and vice versa, not Drake personally.

Chris Brown got into a fight - with dudes for once - and sustained a nasty gash on his chin last night after he and his entourage brawled with Drake.

Brown Tweeted the picture below, apparently a wound from a bottle attack, and suffered during a scuffle with the rapper and his crew in a club.

NYPD sources confirm that the stars and their camps got into a fight in the Big Apple's WIP nightclub, and five people were injured in the melee.

Including Chris Brown himself. Check it out:

The NYPD arrived on the scene of the throwdown after receiving a call between 4-5 a.m. Chris and Drake were not present when cops arrived.

No critical injuries were reported - just bumps, bruises and lacerations - and no arrests were made by cops. No further investigation is likely.

Brown Tweeted the photo above with the message, "How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol... Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!."

The Tweet and pic have since been removed.

Witnesses say the posses threw words, blows and bottles, and the subject of the beef was none other than Rihanna, Chris' ex and Drake's rumored hookup.

The previous night, Chris and Rihanna were seen at the same club in NYC, with the former reportedly gazing longingly at his former flame.

UPDATE, 3:40 p.m. EDT: Drake's rep has issued a statement denying his role in the fight; a source says Meek Mill was the one who smashed Chris' face.

UPDATE, 4:40 p.m. EDT: Check out this photo of Chris Brown's bodyguard Big Pat, who was hospitalized last night after suffering a huge gash on his head.

The photo shows Big Pat in a hospital gurney with blood gushing all over the place. It's unclear how BP got hurt or who's responsible for the damage:

UPDATE, 5:16 p.m. EDT: New reports indicate that the crazy fight was, in fact, all about Rihanna, and that Drake was not involved ... physically.

It appears that Drake flipped off Chris, talked major trash, then recruited several of his friends at the club in advance of the altercation, however.

Rihanna has been linked to every random athlete, musician and model under the sun, but this latest romance rumor may actually have some juice.

She and Drake, who were linked romantically back in 2009 after her break-up from Chris Brown, were both spotted at Miami hotspot Liv Sunday night.

Not only that, they were getting "hot and heavy."

"Rihanna was all over Drake this weekend," an onlooker at the club said. "They were holding hands and dancing all close on the dance floor."

The two have notably collaborated on each other's albums, with Rih most recently appearing on the title track of Drake's new album, Take Care.

In 2010, Rihanna, 23, admitted to Hot 97's Angie Martinez that her rumored romance with Drake was real, even if it wasn't particularly serious.

"We weren't really sure what it was," the singer said. "I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is, or like what it was."

"We didn't want to take it any further. It was a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn't want to get too serious with anything or anyone."

As for right now? A source close to the Battleship star denies that the Barbados-born beauty is dating Drake, or anyone else for that matter.

A new Pusha T song, "Exodus 23:1," is the cause of a budding hip hop feud between the artist and Lil Wayne's Young Money crew, including Drake.

In the song, Pusha T does not name either Drake or his YM boss Weezy, but it's apparently obvious to peeps who listen to this stuff what he's referring to.

As a result, Wayne fired back at Pusha T and his supporters via Twitter: "Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em," he wrote on the social media site.

On "Exodus 23:1," Pusha raps:

"Contract all fucked up / I guess that means you all f--ked up / You signed to one n----, that's signed to another n----, that's signed to three n----s."

"Now that's bad luck / Damn that sh-t even the odds now / You better off selling this hard now / You call it living out your dreams / You can't fly without your wings."

What that means, we have no f--king idea, but it sounds hardcore, based on all the profanity, and Lil Wayne is clearly far from pleased about it.

On Friday morning, DMX took time out from getting arrested to make his feelings about Drake very well known.

Appearing on New York radio station Power 105.1, the controversial rapper said of his fellow artist: "I don't like anything about Drake. I don't like his f-cking voice. I don't like the sh-t he talks about."

Anything else?

"I don't like his face. I don't like the way he walks - nothing," said DMX, concluding with the biggest shot of all: "I don't like his haircut."

DMX gave no explanation for his hatred. In unrelated, yet hilarious news: DMX has posed for 15 mug shots.

What seemed like an ordinary evening out turned into the time of one young woman's life thanks to rapper Drake hopping on stage to sing karaoke with her.

Dalal, a.k.a. "Dee," a student from Kuwait, got a text from a friend who DJs at Saddle Ranch in L.A., telling her to stop by because a celeb was in the house.

"When I showed up I asked Jay who the celebrity was and he said he was not sure, and that I should go find out," said Dee, a karaoke regular there.

Dee then took the stage to sing Rihanna's hit "What's My Name," and ...

"I was like, anyone? Anyone? Hello? And decided to just sing it by myself and then boom! Drake jumps up with his bodyguard behind him and he was like ‘Wait, I thought I was going to do the song with you.'"

Can you believe that? Even cooler? She hung out with him after.

"I went over to his table and Drake told his bodyguard to let me through. He hugged me and I thanked him for singing with me and told him it made my day."

Pretty funny.

Rapper Drake has canceled a concert in Florida tomorrow night.

The tragic reason is that his uncle passed away. The star (real name Aubrey Graham) is reportedly en route home to be with family in Canada.

Drake's rep said: "We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family."

"He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support.”

Our condolences to Drake and his family.

Last night at the BET Awards, some lucky fans were chosen to present the viewer's choice award. Some serious awkwardness transpired.

Not only did the wrong person get it, the celebrities involved happened to be Chris Brown and Rihanna, with Drake thrown in no less.

Brown owned the BET Awards, taking home four big honors, one of which being the viewer's choice award. But it wasn't given to him initially ...

The lucky fan read the winner as "Chris Brown," only to recant it and say, "I'm sorry, the winner is Rihanna." The audience grumbled.

THEN, despite the fact that Rihanna's name appeared on screen one of the presenters chimed in again to award the honor to ... Drake.

Drake then appeared on stage to collect his trophy, giving a short speech and describing the whole thing as awkward. To say the least.

Presumably, at some point later, Brown was credited with the actual award ... but not before the entire process was thoroughly discredited.

Rihanna and Drake were romantically linked a few years ago in the wake of the Chris Brown scandal. Now reports suggest the steamy "What's My Name" duet partners are hooking up again, following a sexy trip to Montreal!

According to a nightclub source, "They came in at about 1 a.m. after her concert, and she got visibly drunk ... .they were dancing and grinding on each other." HOT! After that, the two headed off to the Mondrian Hotel ... together!

What transpired there? No clue. Maybe something along these lines ...

Justin Bieber received an honor at tonight's Muchmusic Video Awards. He then walked on to the stage and gave Selena Gomez the honor millions of girls around the globe would murder for.

Upon accepting the International Video of the Year alongside Drake, Bieber turned to Gomez on stage and said she looked beautiful and, hey, maybe she'd like to go on a date some time!
