Looks like high-profile, combustible power couple Rihanna and Drake have called it quits again, and the reason is that HE was getting too attached apparently.

The world celebrated when they got back together this year (mostly because he's not Chris Brown), but their romance recently hit a bit of a rough patch.

So what caused Rihanna and Drake to break up this time?

Sources say there was no unfaithfulness, no Solange-style fight, and no real scandal to speak of. Just Drake being much too in love with her for her liking.

And he got the boot as a result. Seriously. Say what now?!

"Rihanna and Drake had another fight," says an insider. "He is too in love with her, which has always been the problem. They have been fighting, but that could change."

Drake name-checked Johnny Manziel in his song "Draft Day," and now it seems Drizzy and Johnny Football have become BFFs in real life.

Johnny Manziel and Drake

That photo was posted to Instagram in the hours after Manziel was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the 22nd overall pick in the draft.

Joined by 12th overall pick Odell Beckham, Jr., the rapper and controversial QB reportedly partied the night away, popping bottles of Ace of Spades champagne into the wee hours.

Despite the fact that he recently turned 21, Beckham reportedly passed on the bubbly.

Rihanna is supposedly pissed off at Drake after he told her she's too needy, making for the first-ever use of "Rihanna" and "needy" in the same sentence.

Drake, 27, and Rihanna, 26, have been distant lately after their romance had been heating up all year, and now a new report hints at the source of the friction:

“She’s mad at him a little bit because he told her ‘babe, you’re too needy. Let me hustle babe. Let me work.’ That really hurt her feelings," the insider dished.

"She really loves him and wants things to work out between them, but she doesn’t play when it comes to her heart and she’s letting Drake know about it."

She's doing that by creating distance between the two of them, the source says, as Drake’s comment has her into a funk she has yet to come out of:

“She’s being stubborn. When he told her she’s too needy, she was like ‘all right n---a, I’ll show you needy’ and [she's] been doing her own
thing."

"Tying to make him miss her. You know, all this high school s--t.”

The Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets are currently facing off in round one of the NBA playoffs and while the two teams have played an exciting series thus far, the real entertainment is in the stands, where Drake has become Canada's answer to Spike Lee.

During game one on Saturday, Drake - a Toronto resident - took a bizarre shot at native Brooklynite Jay Z, claiming that Hov was sitting at home "eating a fondue plate" during the game.

Burn! We think. Does Drake know you don't eat fondue from a plate?

Anyway, Drake's strange behavior isn't limited to talking trash. The man might go to Clippers games with Rihanna but in T.O. He goes solo...and gets weird.

There once was a time when future heart throbs were a little dorky, would-be supermodels a tad awkward, and even the Kardashians were just regular kids.

Heck, even Justin Bieber was a kid once ... instead of a punk a-- kid.

Ever wonder what your favorite stars (and Kim Kardashian for that matter) looked like long before they became the people that dominated your Facebook feed?

Wonder no longer, THGers. We've got you covered and then some!

Some aged better than others, and some certainly looked more like their adult selves from a very early stage, but all were pretty darn adorable.

Well, this is escalating quickly.

Rihanna and Drake have been dating for only a few months and they still haven't officially confirmed they're a couple, but sources say the mega-stars are head-over-heels for each other and they're spending as much time together as possible.

An anonymous friend of the couple tells Hollywood Life that Drake and Rihanna are "inseparable" when they're both in LA at the same time and RiRi is reportedly more smitten with Drizzy than she ever was with Chris Brown.

"She's having one of the best times in her life right now," the insider says of Rihanna. "Everything is coming into fruition and she can't get enough of Drake.

Lolo Jones may be a virgin, but that isn't stopping the three-time Olympian from ragging on other people's sex lives.

Referring to Drake's gig hosting the annual ESPN awards show, Lolo tweeted: "It's amazing that Drake is hosting the @ESPYs but it's gonna be tough for him to hand out all those awards to Rihanna's ex-boyfriends."

Oooooh! No she didn't!

It seems now that her athletic career is at an end (Jones failed to medal in both the Summer and Winter Olympics) Lolo is trying her hand at insult comedy. We're happy for her, but we think she may have Rihanna confused with Kim Kardashian.

Yes, Rihanna dated Matt Kemp of the Dodgers and she probably even hooked up with some other athletes in the past week. But it's Kim who's been under more athletes than a dugout bench.

Drake is used to being interviewed, but he turned the tables on pedestrians with a head-to-toe disguise for a "Lie Witness News" segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Wearing a mustache, beard and glasses, Drake asked random people on the street what they think about Drake, and how he did hosting the 2014 ESPYs.

Which aren't until July 16, obviously. Watch the hilarity unfold ...

“I think he definitely killed it, he did an awesome performance,” one passerby responded of the award show the Canadian rapper will host this summer.

Another person, meanwhile, feels that Drake “says he came from the bottom when most likely he didn’t,” while yet another called him a “chicken head.”

When a guy with a guitar said, “I don’t like Drake, I think he’s an actor, he’s not a real rapper,” faux Drake asked him to sing a song dissing Drake, and he did.

“Drake hey I think you suck! Maybe you should try to actually play an instrument bro. Stop acting, you suck,” he sang ... as Drake himself stood there idly.

Rihanna and Drake haven't officially confirmed that they're in a relationship, but that hasn't stopped them from engaging in some very public displays of affection.

Drake and Rihanna at an LA Clippers game. Chris Brown can't be happy about this.

RiRi and Drizzy attended an LA Clippers game at the Staples Center last night and weren't shy about getting close with one another.

Despite the fact that the two stars were very hands-on during their time together, they each ended up sitting with friends in different sections of the arena.

Stranger still, the songstress opted to call it an early night and headed home after the game, while Drake reportedly went clubbing with his entourage.

Drake released a new song Tuesday called "Draft Day." The track, which samples Lauryn Hill, is not affiliated, we don't think, with the movie of the same name.

It does, however, contain some lyrical gems, with the star name-checking Chicago MC Chance the Rapper, Johnny Manziel and ... Jennifer Lawrence.

There are also plenty of insults and barbs to go around.

"Draft Day" opens with a nod to the controversial college football phenomenon Manziel before Rihanna's rumored boyfriend addresses his detractors:

"And if I left this s--t to chance, I would've picked a name like Chance the Rapper. No offense 'cause I don't know that n---a. I just focus on making records and getting bigger."

Elsewhere, Drake appears to diss Jay-Z and Kanye West, with whom he has feuded before, with the line, "Just hits, no Mrs. / That's for the married folk."

But arguably the best and most unexpected reference came with a tribute (see what we did there?!) of sorts to a well-known celebrity in a different field.
