While some celebs, such as Justin Bieber and Usher, dressed a bit flashier at the MTV Video Music Awards, Drake and Justin Timberlake kept it simple in black.

Hey, when you're as handsome as these fellas, you can totally rock that look, whether it's in a leather jacket or a suit. With the top button undone, of course.

Who looked better, though? You decide in our survey below ...

Justin Bieber is a wanted young man - and we aren't just referring to the singer's popularity among teenage girls!

The artist joined hip hop star Drake on stage this weekend in Indianapolis, rapping along to "Bet I Ever Had."

Said Drake to the sold-out crowd: "This kid is part of something special. You know we're both from Canada... so you know I can't forget ol' J. Beezy. That's my dawg."

As you might expect, those in attendance went crazy when this dawg was let out of his adorable cage. Check it out:

Elsewhere, the possible future Glee guest star is being recruited by an even bigger name in the industry: Kanye West.

In a series of recent Tweets, the rapper - who has come out with a new, controversial video for "Power" - wrote of his affection for a Bieber single and proposed a collaboration between the pair:

Yo this Runaway Love is the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on my 17th listen 2day!!! Every time I get to that song I got go in 4 times!! And I'm honored that you like my Music @JustinBieber!!! Maybe we can do something together.

What would you think of a Bieber/Kanye duet? Too good to be true? Or two artists too different to pull it off?

Miley Cyrus has made it painfully clear for weeks now: she simply cannot be tamed.

But while this may be true in her wardrobe choices, the singer was cut down to size on the music charts last week. Her latest album, "Can't Be Tamed," finished third in sales, behind Eminem's "Recovery" and Drake's "Thank Me Later."

It was expected that Eminem would lead the way, but not by this wide of a margin. His new CD had the biggest opening week of any in 2010, moving over 753,000 copies.

As for Miley? She has to be disappointed, as "Can't Be Tamed" sold just 106,000 albums. That's an astounding 250,000 fewer than Cyrus' 2008 effort, "Breakout," sold during its first week of release.

Sales

Miley's fans will surely complain about our biased coverage now and make up excuses for their favorite artist. And that's fine, that's their right and we admire their passion.

But numbers don't lie: recent poll results show 70% of respondents laugh at the idea of Cyrus as a role model; moreover, her new CD actually sold fewer copies than her previous CD sold in its second week of release.

As we've been saying all along, is it possible Miley's new image may have gotten her attention, but turned away her fan base? Might she have been better served by slowly evolving as an artist, as opposed to pulling every transparent, cheap trick in the book just to prove she's changed?

These are questions Miley, her handlers and her cult-like followers will need to consider carefully.

  • I'm So Edgy!
  • A Tired Move

The public - literally! - is not buying Miley's tired attempts to be edgy and mature.

Though well-intentioned, the We are the World remake was as mocked as it was helpful.

A slew of celebrities gathered to benefit the victims of the January earthquake in Haiti, but most critics focused on how this effort paled in comparison to the original song, recorded 25 years ago earlier by legends such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.

Unfazed by that reaction, Justin Bieber has teamed with Drake and other Canadian singers to form The Young Artists for Haiti. They recently recorded "Wavin Flag," another anthem meant to encourage relief to the ravaged nation.

Also featured in the following video: Nelly Furtado, Fefe Dobson, Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley:

She likes his nickname for her and remembers things they said "months ago." She thinks he's "worth the wait" and quotes lyrics to express feelings for him.

And they may already be broken up. Such is the life of Amanda Bynes and Drake, supposedly. It was a rumored romance spawned - where else - on Twitter.

Drake termed Amanda "Penny Lane" in one Tweet, and she noted in a message they have something in common: "Drake is half Jewish like me ... word!"

Word indeed. "You're the best, which is why I'm saving you for last," she wrote, quoting lyrics from Rihanna (linked to Drake herself last year) and Jay-Z.

Bynes then raided iheartquotes.com for further inspiration.

Is (or was) Amanda Bynes the best Drake ever had?

Cute as it sounds, Bynes' new flame may actually be an old one. On Valentine's Day, Bynes said she was newly single and was glad she never her man's identity.

Then this week she wrote, "Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect," she hinted, quoting J.K. Rowling.

Deep. Whomever the man is, he was rocking Bynes' world for weeks. She writes: "It's amazing when someone knows how to love you with out being told."

Until things went south: "I have a friend I thought was like a sister to me," she wrote. "She's been lying to me and has been up to no good with a man I like."

The actress then added that "Some people make me sick."

Damn, Drake. Cheating on her with her BFF? Bold, man. Bold and cold, my friend. Bet Amanda's watching the video of Drake's on-stage ACL tear on repeat.

First Drake took over for Chris Brown. Hooking up with Rihanna, that is.

Now Chris Brown is filling in for Drake. Rapping with Lil Wayne, that is.

After Drake went down with a knee injury a few days ago, Lil Wayne asked us to pray for the upstart Canadian rapper. He also needed somebody to pinch-hit and perform Drake's part at a show in Virginia Beach the next night, though.

The man who loves ramming them hos naturally asked Chris Brown.

Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) was widely rumored to be Rihanna's first rebound guy after Chris beat the living crap out of her, even though he claimed they were just "good friends." He has a hit single out right now with "Best I Ever Had."

It was Brown's first live performance since copping a plea in his assault case, but he won't be Drake's full time-replacement on tour - this was a one-shot deal.

It wouldn't be a Sunday night without a fake celebrity death rumor to wake up to the following morning, causing you to momentarily freak the f*%k out that one of your favorite celebrities may have passed away as you slept.

Or Lil Wayne, for that matter.

In any case, if you heard that some gang shot Lil Wayne and left the fertile rapper critically wounded and/or dead, that's not true. Lil Wayne has not been shot.

He is free to get stoned and impregnate women today as planned.

As far as Lil Wayne news that is actually true, he is calling fans to pray for his Young Money label-mate Drake (Aubrey Graham) as the Canadian rapper is set to undergo knee surgery, after recently collapsing onstage in New Jersey.

Going against doctor's orders, Drake performed with a torn ACL during The Young Money Presents America's Most Wanted Music Festival tour stop on Friday.

The Canadian-born rapper and sometimes Rihanna BF was determined to make a brief cameo at each show to collaborate with Lil Wayne on "Best I Ever Had."

After attempting a spin, Drake fell to the stage in agony and was rushed out by medics. Needless to say, he won't try this again. See gruesome video below ...

Drake has released the music video for his new song, "Best I Ever Had."

Think Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) could be talking about ... Rihanna?

Probably not, although Rihanna and Drake have been romantically linked - and even photographed together! - in recent months since she split with Chris Brown.

LOVE THE DRAKE: With his new song, Aubrey Graham is a real up-and-comer in the hip-hop community, and not just because of his alleged dalliances with Rihanna.

In any case, this newly-premiered video, the Canadian rapper is seen playing coach to a female basketball team who ends up getting trounced 91-14 by the end.

The video was filmed in Brooklyn, New York with Kanye West directing. Trey Songz, Fabolous and several artists from Lil Wayne's label are seen making cameos.

On the day it was announced that Rihanna got served and will have to testify against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown at a June 22 hearing, the singer hit the town with friends.

Rumored new fling Aubrey Graham among them.

Brihanna Photo

Rihanna and the Canadian rapper to whom she's recently been linked were first spotted smooching on May 18 at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in Manhattan.

Then, last night, the hot pair was sighted again!

Rihanna and Graham (who goes by the single name of Drake) laughed and chatted at a bash for the Black Eyed Peas at the NYC nightspot The Griffin.

Here's a picture of the two of them together ...

Rihanna – looking stunning in a light grey sweater dress and large hoop earrings – arrived at The Griffin shortly after 11:30 p.m. and stayed nearly two hours.

Her alleged beau left a bit earlier – only to wait outside the club's front doors. Both Rihanna and Drake drove off at the same time, in separate vehicles.

While in the club, a happy-looking Rihanna, 21, "appeared to be enjoying herself," holding court in a banquette to the left of the stage, according to sources.

What do you think? Do Rihanna and Drake make a cute couple?
