Ashton Kutcher went all third grader on us in a recent Tweet, telling the public not to assume anything about his marriage to Demi Moore. But this s a fact:

The couple no longer follows each other on Twitter! Considering how obsessed each is with this social network, could there be any surer sign that they're over?

Moore is "sad, hurt and embarrassed" by the scandal, a source close to the actress tells Entertainment Tonight, adding that Demi and Ashton "had been receiving counseling from Kabbalah over the summer to try to fix their marriage."

Alas, it failed and they are reportedly now living apart.

Still no word from Sara Leal, though, Kutcher's alleged mistress who reports indicated was in the process of hiring an attorney and seeking out the highest offer she could find to tell her story.

As one of the most frequent celebrity Twitter users, Ashton Kutcher has taken to that social media network to sort of shoot down rumors that he cheated on Demi Moore with Sara Leal and an expensive divorce is pending between the couple.

This morning, the Two and a Half Men star simply linked to a music file for the Public Enemy song "Don't Believe the Hype." Make of that what you will.

So, THGers: Do you believe the hype?

The story goes like this: Kutcher partied with Leal, 23, at a San Diego nightclub on September 23rd. He then slept with her at that city's Hardrock hotel later that evening.

The next day was Ashton and Demi's six-year wedding anniversary, which the pair spent alone, 3,000 miles apart, because Moore was promoting Five, her Lifetime original movie (above). The actress expressed her own mysterious thoughts on the cheating rumor last week, Tweeting:

"When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."

Perhaps if these two spent more time actually communicating, and less time speaking randomly to the public via 140 characters or fewer, they wouldn't be in the predicament.

UPDATE: Kutcher has added: "When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of, you make an ASS out of U and ME." Profound stuff, man.

Has Demi Moore finally had it with what one source deems to be Ashton Kutcher's "serial" cheating?

A new Star Magazine cover story claims this couple is headed for divorce because the Two and a Half Men star couldn't keep it in his pants again, this time hooking up with a 23-year old named Sara Leal on September 23rd  - a day before his sixth wedding anniversary, which he and Moore did not spend together - at the Hardrock Hotel in San Diego.

Are there tears behind this laughter?

The pair allegedly met at a nightclub, with a friend of the mistress telling Radar Online that Leal was due to meet with an attorney last night and is "freaking out" over the situation.

“It was definitely a long time coming, but they’re finally done for good,” an insider told Star. “Ashton was a serial cheater, and Demi just couldn’t take it anymore. She didn’t deserve to live that way. It’s a painful time for Demi.”

And for Chuck Lorre. This rumor is just what the Two and a Half Men creator needs!

Star Magazine refuses to believe that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore could have a happy marriage.

In its latest issue of lies, the tabloid revisits the topic it focused on a year ago: Kutcher's allegedly cheating ways and how, finally, Moore has had enough. The result? One of the more expensive splits in Hollywood history, if this cover headline is to somehow be believed:

A Demi Divorce?!?

On September 23, Moore Tweeted "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger." Hmmm...

The latest rumor revolves around Ashton getting it on with some random woman named Sara Leal. She is reportedly trying to sell details of their tryst for $250,000.

It's unclear how much Britney Spears wants to discuss her affair with the new Two and a Half Men star, likely because it never took place.

Over 28 million people tuned in for the season nine premiere of Two and a Half Men, but one viewer in particular has made headlines for his take on Ashton Kutcher's debut.

What did Charlie Sheen think of his replacement?

The Debut of Walden Schmidt

After referring to Jon Cryer as a "freaking genius," Sheen told Access Hollywood late last week: "I think everybody won. I thought the show was really good. I thought [Ashton] was terrific."

Sheen is likely including himself in this list of winners, considering he'll bank $100 million off the show over the next few years.

What did you think of Kutcher's Two and a Half Men debut?

Nudity. Fart jokes. And references to genital warts.

For all the hype and all the headlines made over Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, last night's ninth season premiere didn't exactly stray far from the obvious, immature humor that - incredibly, depressingly - has made this the most-watched sitcom on television for many years.

Before Kutcher first showed up as a heart-broken billionaire named Walden Schmidt, viewers were treated to cameos that included ex-girlfriends played by Jenny McCarthy, and prospective home buyers played by John Stamos, Jenna Elfman and the guy who portrayed her husband on Dharma & Greg.

The appearance by the latter duo was a nice little shout-out to a past Chuck Lorre hit and at least felt fresh. The same can't be said for anything related to Kutcher's Walden.

Ashton Kutcher is already a better role model than Charlie Sheen.

The actor, who debuts on Two and a Half Men on September 19, took home the Choice Movie Actor/Romantic Comedy surfboard for No Strings Attached at last night's Teen Choice Awards. Upon taking the stage, he offered the following valuable advice to all in viewers:

"Don't ever charge anything on a credit card if you don't already have the money in the bank to pay for it."

It's true, people. Don't let credit card debt consolidation ads fool you. Just spend wisely. Also, check out Kutcher randomly belting out a cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" at the ceremony, as attendees - including Taylor Swift! - join in:

Never before have so many people been so curious about the season premiere of an unoriginal, unfunny comedy.

But Two and a Half Men returns to CBS on September 19 and here is what we know about the first, Charlie Sheen-less episode it airs:

Ashton Kutcher on Two and a Half Men Set
  • Sheen's Harper will be killed off.
  • The cause of death? Viewers will learn he married, and then cheated on, Rose. At the character's funeral, she'll pretty much admit to pushing him off a train platform.
  • Season premiere guest stars will include Jenny McCarthy and John Stamos.
  • Ashton Kutcher will portray a billionaire named Walden Schmidt, one of several people who stop by to consider purchasing Charlie's house.

Will you watch the Two and a Half Men premiere?

Will Charlie Harper really be killed off Two and a Half Men?

How will new star Ashton Kutcher be introduced?

And, seriously, how does anyone find this sitcom funny?

Two of those questions will be answered on September 19, when season nine of the series premieres on CBS. To get fans excited, the network has released the following promotional image, which teases that "all will be revealed" on that date. Based on Jon Cryer's face, let's hope some things are best left a secret...

THG Asks!

Welcome to THG's new feature, in which two of our celebrity gossip experts debate topical issues in the entertainment world and you decide who wrote the winning argument!

Today, THG Asks: Will Two and a Half Men succeed with Ashton Kutcher?

YES by Hilton Hater

Two and a Half Men has been the highest rated comedy on TV for years. Therefore, in order for the show to be a success, it simply has to maintain the bulk of that audience.

That's why Ashton Kutcher is an ideal replacement for Charlie Sheen.

Is he particularly exciting? No. Can I name his last critically-acclaimed movie? Gosh, no. (Seriously, try sitting through Valentine's Day or Killers.)

But Kutcher is safe, much like the show itself. This isn't Community, which takes chances and offers up unique, outrageous stunts and storylines.

It's a bland, predictable, cliche-ridden half hour of nonsense.

Ashton's the same. He's got a big smile and many Twitter followers and won't require writers to think for more than three seconds about any line they pen.

Sounds like a boring winner to me.

NO by Free Britney

#LOSING. My argument could begin and end there. Charlie Sheen may be a certified nut job, but he's right when he says he was Two and a Half Men.

If you think about it, the CBS comedy was a huge hit because it basically allowed the star to play a fictionalized but mostly accurate version of himself.

Charlie's popularity since going off the rails is proof of this. He's got serious issues, but he's a lovable loon, whether his surname is Sheen or Harper.

No offense to Ashton Kutcher, but ... Ashton Kutcher?

In the words of one respected TV critic, "I am far from impressed ... The move comes across as a shameless attempt to tap into a younger generation, one familiar with Kutcher from his days on Fox and MTV. I don’t think it will work.”

THG Asks you ... will Ashton and 2 1/2 Men thrive? Who won this argument?
