Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale took a break from dancing to Beyonce together to attend Elton John's annual Oscar viewing party in West Hollywood last night.

The good pals may not have snagged any nominations or even an invite to the main ceremony, but they were still part of a memorable evening, watching Billy Crystal MC the three-hour event alongside a host of other stars that included Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus.

And, of course, the former High School Musical colleagues got all dolled up for the occasion. Compare their red carpet looks below and vote on the best.

Justin Bieber owes his fame and fortune to Usher, who discovered the Canadian singer based on a series of homemade YouTube videos.

Now, the teenage icon is returning the favor, hoping to become a mentor to a young woman named Carly Rae Jepsen.

The Biebs helped sign Jepsen - last year's runner-up on Canadian Idol - to Schoolboy Records, the label run by Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, after hearing the track "Call Me Maybe" on the radio.

"She's gonna blow up," Bieber said last week on his native country's MuchMusic.

And he's doing all he can to help with said blowing up, teaming with Jepsen and a couple other friends - Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale - on the video for "Call Me Maybe." Watch it here:

They're good friends off screen who can seriously bust a move!

In a new video that's gone viral, the former High School Musical co-stars dance it up at North Hollywood's Millennium Dance Complex to Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)," shaking their groove thangs and clearly having a great time.

"Dance class with @slaughteration and Nessa #whoruntheworld," Tisdale Tweeted prior to the session with Hudgens and choreographer Jeri Slaughter.

Just a few weeks about news of her split with Scott Speer went public, Ashley Tisdale looks to have found a new man.

The actress was photographed on Monday night at LAX with Boys Like Girls lead singer Martin Johnson, who dated Taylor Swift a couple years ago.

"Taylor was really head over heels for Martin, but her team didn't really feel that he was a good influence on her or her image," a source tells Radar Online. "She sort of broke his heart."

Tisdale and Johnson - who this insider describes as a "really great guy" - allegedly spent New Year's Eve together in New York City before landing in Los Angeles this week.

Ashley Tisdale is a single woman once again. Correction: she's been a single woman for a little while, we're just finding out now.

Multiple sources confirm that the former High School Musical star is no longer dating director Scott Speer (below), who she started seeing in the spring of 2009. The pair have been broken up for a few weeks, an insider tells Us Weekly, adding simply:

"They tried to work it out but realized their relationship ran its course."

Tisdale most recently starred on The CW's Hellcats and in her own Disney spinoff, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. She had previously dated musician Jared Murillo.

You don't need to star in Breaking Dawn to appear on the red carpet of the Breaking Dawn premiere. Ashley Tisdale and Jennifer Love Hewitt are very happy about that, too.

Both beautiful young actresses attended the popular event at the Nokia Theatre last night, donning very different outfits. The former High School Musical student was a vision in white, while JLH went the Kim Kardashian route instead. Hello, cleavage!

It may be boring for the online community to admit, but good looking people can hang out on the beach and just be friends.

Many are having a hard time believing this, following photos that leaked over the weekend of Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron frolicking in Malibu together. While wearing bathing suits!

With chatter of an affair quickly heating up, and wanting to be fair to boyfriend Scott Speer, Ashley took to Twitter yesterday and wrote:

"Don't believe all pictures. People r gonna come up with stuff to say bc it sells! I had such a great birthday party with my friends, Family, and BOYFRIEND Scott. I will not let stupid rumors ruin all the fun we had! Xoxo"

The CW didn't win any major trophies at last night's People's Choice Awards. But that doesn't mean the network wasn't represented well.

With hotness!

A pair of pretty stars walked the red carpet, as AnnaLynne McCord (90210) and Ashley Tisdale (Hellcats) posed for fans and photographers. Both are symbolic of the network's focus on young women and both looked good at the event.

But only one can be named this contest's winner! Vote now.

In the wake of a slew of tragic suicides, Ellen DeGeneres was the first celebrity to speak out on the troubling topic of teenage bullying.

But she wasn't the last.

Daniel, Ashley and many other celebrities (watch this video now!) have an important message for teens.

“Learning about the suicide deaths of Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, Asher Walker, Billy Lucas and Justin Aaberg has been heartbreaking for me,” Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said this week. “We have a responsibility to be better to each other, and accept each others’ differences regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ability, or religion and stand up for someone when they’re bullied."

Radcliffe is a major supporter of The Trevor Project, which focuses on at-risk teens.
