Ashley Olsen is the sister of Mary-Kate Olsen. She used to be on Full House and now she's just known as a terrible, terrible dresser....

Celebrity siblings are sort of a weird case study in everything from family dynamics to facial features.

Do the younger siblings try to become famous because of the older siblings? Are they trying to make their own name on merit or just riding on coat tails?

What happens when the celebrity siblings look so much alike people get them confused!? How's it possible to make a name for yourself if everyone thinks you're someone else!?

Check out 17 celebrity sibling duos who might actually be the same person.

Pippa and Kate Middleton
Pippa Middleton might have the better...ASSETS...but she and sister Kate Middleton definitely got the same amazing smile.

Then there's the possibility we're all being punked by some elaborate conspiracy. Maybe these famous sibling sets aren't actually siblings at all.

It makes you think. And blame the Illuminati.

And then there are the celebrity look-alikes, those who aren't related but might as well be. Heck, some of these look more like other celebs than their actual siblings ...

They could each enjoy a long career as Major League Baseball relievers, but the following left-handed stars have chosen a different field in which to utilize their eccentricity.

Some are singers. Some are actors and actresses. One is the President of the United States!

But they all have one thing in common: they write with their non-right hand. So weird, right?!?

So, in honor of Left Handers Day (really, it's a thing; look it up), THG is excited to presented snapshots of 21 famous southpaws.

They may hate the set-up of spiral notebooks, but we love what they add to our lives. Long may they be left(y) behind!

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga might be pointing to her engagement ring from Taylor Kinney here, but she could just as well be showing off the fact that she's left-handed.

P.S. Did you also know that yesterday was World Elephant Day?

It's been quite a while since TGIF, that two-hour block of family-friendly sitcoms on ABC, was the thing people did on Friday nights.

There's an entire generation of people who probably have no idea who DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle Tanner were. HOW RUDE!

But we here at THG have NOT forgotten Full House, that sitcom that made Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen into over-exposed, highly overpaid twins.

Twins will countdowns until their 18th birthday that began when they barely cracked double digits (gross, yes, we know, but still true).

We suspect some of you haven't forgotten Full House either, but the images you have in your head are of a much younger cast of characters.

Inspired by the epic selfie of Jodie Sweetin and Christine Lakin (of fellow TGIF sitcom Step by Step fame), here's a look at the cast of Full House cast then and now!

The Tanners! Uncle Jesse! STEVE and KIMMY! They're all here - past and present - in this Full House gallery!

When you think celebrity twins, you undoubtedly think of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen first, followed perhaps by Tia and Tamera Mowry or Joel and Benji Madden.

There are a bunch of others you probably don't know about, however.

From actors and supermodels to athletes and political scions, more than a dozen stars grew up sharing a special connection with a twin sibling of their own.

While some duos parlayed that very fact of their existence into fame, other famous stars have lesser-known identical or fraternal twins living out of the limelight.

Check out 19 stars you may or may not realize have twins ...

Ashton Kutcher
Ashton Kutcher has a twin named Michael, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a young age. Michael lives in the brothers' native Iowa with his son and wife, who is also expecting a baby this year.

Want to know one of the secrets of Hollywood magic? Making surprisingly short stars look super tall through a little camera trick known as perspective.

Super short celebrities have nothing to fear when it's time to make a movie. If a guy is shorter than his leading lady, directors will fix that right up!

Bam! Audiences will never know he's actually 5" shorter than his costar! That is, until the press tour. Those images can't be faked quite as easily.

Some stars, especially those of the male persuasion with easily bruised egos, demand that co-stars and/or wives don't wear heels on the red carpet. (coughTomCruisecough!!)

Others, however, own their short stature and make it part of their shtick. For the ladies of Hollywood, it might mean never being a supermodel, but doesn't typically affect their star power.

It does, however, make for comically hilarious photos when they stand next to really tall celebrities like Joel McHale. Check out this list of 25 super short celebs to see!

Anna Kendrick
Don't underestimate Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick because she's only 5' tall!

It's Friday the 13th, and while superstitions about today abound, for some people it turns out this day which only comes around a few times a year is actually pretty fantastic.

As a born-on-the-13th baby, it's my duty to dispel any myths about this much maligned day. First off, there's a good chance that if you sit down to dinner with 13 people today, one of you won't be dead within a year. Unless it's really, really old relative's birthday, then maybe all bets are off.

Secondly, it's actually not unlucky to be born on the 13th of a month.

Why? Well, because you were born. That's a big deal. It was definitely a big deal for these 13 stars born on Friday the 13th. As it turns out, that was their (and our) lucky day.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were born on June 13, 1986.

Today is a Friday like any other, despite what the calendar may say, but should you go to any sleepaway camps, look out for guys in hockey masks. Just in case.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare appearance on Ellen this week.

The twins were there to shill for their new fragrances, but they also took a few minutes to play an Ellen DeGeneres original, "Mary-Kate and Ashley?"

The game is exactly what it sounds like, as the host asked the young ladies a series of questions about their lives (Who is the best dancer? Who got kissed first?) and watched as they held up "Me" or "Her" paddles for answers.

Which questions stumped the actresses? Which left them really confused about the show Naked and Afraid? Watch now:

Funny times.

Hollywood has a bit of a Peter Pan complex sometimes never wanting its child actors to grow up. But grow up they must as people do.

Occasionally, the actors and actresses we love as children make the transition to adult stars ... sometimes making a pit stop as amateur porn stars ... before going on to transition successfully into adult actors known for more than just their childhood roles.

Sometimes those transitions are less successful and we spend their infamous adulthoods wondering what happened?

(Drugs and alcohol happened, that's what. Looking at you, Lindsay Lohan.)

Others, like second-time mama Drew Barrymore, go through seriously rough growing pains and emerge on the other side bigger and better than anyone could have imagined. Maybe there's hope for LiLo yet.

And then there's Leonardo DiCaprio who just gets better and better with age. Seriously. He's a fine wine.

Take a look at these 21 child actors who grew up and stayed famous. Or infamous.

Amanda Bynes
Amanda Bynes was a delightful child star with a bright career whose hard-partying ways and obvious mental issues have made for many sad headlines in recent years.

What do Barack Obama, Nicole Kidman, and Justin Bieber have in common? They've all made a sex tape?

They're all left-handed, making them quite elite for more than just politics, movies, and music.

Between 7 and 10 percent of people worldwide are left-handed. Why does that matter?

Well, because quite a few of Hollywood's elite also happen to be southpaws, and an uncanny number of politicians around the globe are too, for that matter.

Take a look at this list of 21 left-handed celebrities to see the one thing that unites them all:

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga might be pointing to her engagement ring from Taylor Kinney here, but she could just as well be showing off the fact that she's left-handed.

Being left-handed is commonly associated with intelligence and creativity, not to mention those terrible ink smears along the side of their dominant hand.

Seriously, what's a leftie have to do to get the right kind of desk around here??

Despite their minority status, left-handed people are more likely to excel in music, math, and sports; based on scientific studies and anecdotal evidence, that seems to hold true.

Just don't expect Bieber to be a poster child for International Left Handers Day.

Ahhh, siblings. You can't live with them, you can't kill them.

KIDDING!

Today is National Siblings Day! The other day a year we pretend to like our built-in best friends because social media tells us to. (The first day is Christmas, because presents, obvs.)

In honor of National Siblings Day, which is probably a totally made up day created by someone attempting to bury the hatchet with a brother or sister by publicly professing that Imma let you finish by my sibling is the best sibling ever, our celebrity gossip editors thought it would be grand to take a look at some of our favorite star siblings:

From the fabulous to the feuding to the famewhores, Hollywood is rife with celebrity siblings. Now to decide if you and your siblings are more or less dysfunctional than they are.
