It goes without saying at this point, but Michael Jackson did not go out on a high note in 2009. Stress, desperation and medication were all taking their toll.

The star was so worried he couldn't perform his 50 London concerts, he worried out loud that promoter AEG would cut him loose and he'd have nothing left.

To illustrate just how stressed out he was, he would wonder aloud if he, one of the richest entertainers in history, would end up working at McDonald's.

Perfecto

NOT OKAY: Michael Jackson was exhibiting all the warning signs.

Karen Faye, Michael's hairstylist for a quarter century, was interviewed by LAPD detectives days after MJ died, and described some of his innermost fears.

Faye told cops, "He was scared to death because AEG was funding everything. He said he would have to work at McDonalds if he didn't do these shows."

Faye also said she felt Michael was "self-sabotaging" with drugs because Jackson couldn't do all 50 shows and was in dire need of psychological help.

Others have speculated he was too weak to perform for years.

The embattled Dr. Conrad Murray is challenging a lawsuit filed against him by the father of the late Michael Jackson - and asking why another doc isn't a defendant.

Murray is going after Michael's longtime physician and friend, Dr. Arnold Klein, claiming Klein is at least partly to blame for the singer's untimely, June 2009 death.

As such, Murray says, Klein should be named in Joe Jackson's wrongful death lawsuit. MJ's mother and kids also filed suit against AEG, Michael's concert promoter.

Dr. Conrad Murray (left) is putting some of the blame on Dr. Arnie Klein.

Dr. Murray was on AEG's payroll, serving as Michael's personal physician at the time of his death. Conrad faces involuntary manslaughter charges in criminal court.

His legal declaration today comes in response to Joe Jackson's decision not to name Dr. Arnold Klein as one of the physicians allegedly responsible for MJ's death.

Murray claims: "Dr. Klein may have been medicating Michael Jackson up until or even beyond June 18, 2009, less than one week before Michael Jackson's death."

Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson's close friend, has come out swinging against Joe Jackson, claiming Michael's father is a guy who cares only about money.

Klein was responding to claims Joe made about Michael's mother and how Katherine was responsible for Michael's death when he told TMZ the following:

"Michael was very close to Katherine, but Joe talked to him too, but all Joe ever wanted to talk about was business. Everything Joe utters is nonsensical."

Pretty much.

Joe claims that he warned his estranged wife about Michael's failing health last year, but she was afraid of violating his privacy and refused to intervene.

Michael Jackson's father Joe.

Arnie has made numerous headlines in the past year, first as the rumored biological father of Michael's children, a rumor he has never emphatically denied.

Then more recently, he took serious heat for backing up former employee Jason Pfeiffer's claim that Michael Jackson was gay and Pfeiffer had an affair with him.

Now, however, the singer's confidant and former dermatologist is growing increasingly tired of all things Michael and wishes he could finally rest in peace.

Klein says he's over the drama: "I'm no longer interested in the Sodom and Gomorrah show on Havenhurst (the family home). My primary concern is the welfare of the children, especially Michael's, and the preservation of Michael's memory."

Dr. Arnold Klein is Tweeting back at Elizabeth Taylor over the legendary actress' recent implication that he supplied Michael Jackson with lovers ... of both genders.

The Twitter-tongue-lashing he got resulted from comments he made about MJ's sex life, saying he was gay and confirming rumors of an affair with Jason Pfeiffer.

Taylor lambasted Klein for betraying Michael's confidentiality and trust, and got in an extra dig that the dermatologist supplied Jackson with men as well as women.

Both Pfeiffer and Jackson's former wife Debbie Rowe worked in Klein's office (Klein is also rumored to be the father of MJ's kids, but that's neither here nor there).

He counter-Twittered Friday: "Dearest Elizabeth Michael CHOSE whom he loved; I only SUPPLIED medical care. May God bless you and Michael. Your friend Arnie."

Was Michael Jackson gay? Is Arnold Klein lying? Did the doctor betray the star's trust? Was Elizabeth Taylor out of line? The list of questions goes on and on ...

Elizabeth Taylor, who like Dr. Arnold Klein was very close to Michael Jackson, and who like MJ was a patient of Klein, is slamming the doctor for his recent blabbing.

Specifically, about MJ's alleged gay affair with Jason Pfeiffer.

Not only did Klein back up his former office manager's account of an affair with Jackson, he flat out said Michael was gay, then said he didn't betray Jackson's trust.

An irate Taylor Twittered this yesterday, lambasting the dermatologist and noting the connection between Klein and other person with romantic ties to Jackson:

"Dr. Arnie Klein declared on May 2 that he did not betray Michael Jackson by saying publicly that he had a homosexual relationship with someone in Arnie's office."

"It seems he supplies not only women (Debbie Rowe), but men too ... how convenient."

There's no love lost between two of Michael Jackson's closest friends.

Not finished, Taylor added this stinger: "Just what we want in our doctors. And then to say he did not betray Michael's confidence. No wonder he has death threats."

"I thought doctors, like priests took an oath of confidentiality. May God have mercy on his soul." Rough, to be sure but the legendary actress certainly has a point!

Klein's defense of the comment was that it was made not to slander Michael, but show was not a pedophile. For what it's worth, Joe Jackson and Michael's bodyguards have also come forward to deny the gay affair story.

No comment from Team Arnie or from anyone in the federal witness protection program he may or may not have enlisted in during the past week.

Jason Pfeiffer, the former office manager of Michael Jackson's dermatologist and friend, Dr. Arnold Klein, claimed about a week ago that he was MJ's lover.

That hasn't exactly sat well with the late icon's fans.

Michael Jackson, Children

Since coming forward to allege a gay affair with Michael Jackson, Jason Pfeiffer says he faces such intense death threats that he's won't stay in one place.

All in vain. You know Joe Jackson will hunt him down.

A source close to Dr. Arnold Klein - who flat-out said Michael was gay in a separate interview - and Jason Pfeiffer tells fans have directly threatened him.

Jason Pfeiffer says he dated Michael Jackson until the day he died.

Apparently, incensed Jackson worshippers have walked right up to Pfeiffer's home and knocked on his door - and tracked him down at his friends' houses.

Guess Justin Bieber fans have some big shoes to fill.

After Jason went public and the doc backed his story up, the homophobic and violent threats have poured into Dr. Klein's office by phone, fax, and email.

"I'm gonna put a bullet in your heads," said one voicemail.

Klein and Pfeiffer have hired bodyguards, and reported this to the FBI. Jason Pfeiffer is currently at a private location with friends ... we can't say where.

You know what they say ... it's all fun and games until obsessed fans of a deceased music icon murder a gay office manager seeking 15 minutes of fame.

What do you think: MJ was ...

Amid reports (ones corroborated by a close friend) that Michael Jackson had an affair with Jason Pfeiffer, Joe Jackson is denouncing the notion that MJ was gay.

Joe, Michael's father, is royally pissed at his former best friend/doctor, Arnold Klein, for claiming MJ was gay and had a relationship with Klein's office manager.

MJ in Fear

Joe railed against Klein, saying: "It's not true. Michael was not gay. [Klein] has no respect for Michael ... to say things about him when he's gone is shameful."

Jason Pfeiffer was on TV last week, claiming he had a sexual relationship with Michael, and Dr. Arnold Klein spoke of walking in on the two men shirtless.

Later, Dr. Arnold Klein said matter-of-factly: "Was he gay? Yes."

Joe Jackson: Not a big fan of Arnie Klein.

Not only was Michael Jackson a homosexual, Klein says, he had no problem with people knowing ... which seems unlikely, as he shrouded himself in secrecy.

In any case, never one to miss a quotable opportunity, Joe Jackson went on, "He's a doctor and knows better than to break his vows against a patient."

Speaking of doctors who broke plenty of vows, how happy is Dr. Conrad Murray right now? A scandalous Jackson story that has nothing to do with him!

Are you buying it? Do you think Michael Jackson was ...

Jason Pfeiffer, a former dermatologist's assistant and current CEO of a medical company, tells Extra that he had an affair with the late Michael Jackson.

Moreover, he was his boyfriend right up until the King of Pop died.

Pfeiffer claims he had a very "passionate and sexual" relationship with Jackson, and has kept several messages that the music superstar left for him.

"We definitely hit it off the first time we met," Pfeiffer says, claiming they met in 2008 at the office of Jackson's famed dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein.

Klein is a longtime friend of Jackson's and, as you may know, is rumored to be the biological father of the singer's two older children, Prince and Paris.

In any case, Dr. Klein backs up Pfeiffer's account, saying that he knew Jackson and Pfeiffer were together when he once walked in on them shirtless.

Jason Pfeiffer: Dr. Arnold Klein's former office manager.

"When you see two people looking at each other you know what's happening. I was just very happy for both of them," Arnold Klein said of the discovery.

Pfeiffer says he and Jackson connected because of their childhoods.

"We were just sitting there and we both started to cry and I got up and went over to him and said it's going to be okay Michael... We hugged," he says.

"It was kind of then that the hug was a little bit more ... It wasn't until a few months later that it was obvious that Michael had feelings for me as well."

Their friendship soon blossomed into something more, according to Pfeiffer, even though Jackson emphatically denied throughout life that he was gay.

Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson's best friend and doctor for decades, and who is also rumored to be the biological father of two of his children, is back in the news.

This time, it has nothing to do with Jackson's health or the paternity of his offspring. Klein is offering an interesting theory on Michael's 1993 child molestation case.

An MJ Pic

As you probably know, a boy accused Jackson of molesting him, which the music icon denied. The case was settled out of court; MJ was never convicted of a crime.

Michael Jackson with his old friend and dermatologist.

A key piece of evidence in the case was that the accuser could identify a discoloration on the singer's genitals. Not something you just happen to see, right?

It is this that Klein is offering an explanation for. In a discussion with TMZ, Klein says there's a perfectly good reason ... even though it's still very strange.

If you don't want to be grossed, or potentially weirded out, we suggest you stop here. If you want, follow the jump to continue reading Klein's explanation ...

Michael Jackson's friend and dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, was shut down in court by a judge ruled he has no legal right to raise concerns the late star's kids.

Klein's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, showed up in probate court and said his client had concerns about the kids and how they were raised - per MJ's request.

This Was It

He did not object to Katherine Jackson being named their guardian.

Arnold Klein is rumored to be the biological father of Paris Jackson and Michael Jr., the singer's older two kids. This has not been factually established, however.

Court documents show the judge ruled Klein had "no legal standing" because there's a "conclusive presumption" Jackson and Debbie Rowe are the parents.

Michael Jackson and his close friend Dr. Arnold Klein.

Klein admitted he gave sperm to Jackson at some point but says that to the best of his knowledge, he's not the dad. Nor will he take a test. Unless asked.

In any case, he has no standing to say how they are raised unless he is an actual parent, which as far as the court is concerned, Dr. Arnold Klein is not.

On a side note, the court also found there is "no legal mother" of Prince Michael Jackson II, a.k.a. Blanket. He has many rumored moms, like Pia Bhatti.

Do you think Dr. Arnold Klein is Paris and Michael Jr.'s father?
