Arianna Afsar is a 16-year old contestant on the eighth season of American Idol.
For her audition in Phoenix, Arianna went with "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae. She receivied unanimous consent from the judges to move on to Hollywood.
Asfar competing in, and won, a series of beauty pageants when she was a child. She's currenty a high school student in San Diego, California. She is actually a big deal in that home town, as this singer began an "Adopt a Grandfriend" program that asks teenagers to befriend an elderly person.
