The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks reportedly wants to divorce Apollo Nida ASAP after the shenanigans he pulled before going to prison.

Attorney Parks will be filing for divorce from her convict husband and has already had the legal documents prepared, a new, not surprising report says.

Apollo Nida reported to prison sometime late Wednesday night or Thursday morning, but not before briefly going AWOL ... and going NUTS on Parks.

En route to the Kentucky penitentiary that will be his home for some time, Nida stopped by his old house and went off on Phaedra in an epic argument.

What exactly was said? We don't know, but Bravo cameras were rolling, so it'll play out next season when we watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

In any case, Parks has had enough. An insider says of the embattled couple:

“Phaedra has been patiently waiting for Apollo to begin serving his prison sentence, and will have him served with divorce papers at the correctional facility."

After briefly going AWOL, Apollo Nida has finally checked into the Kentucky prison that will serve as his home for the next eight years.

Apollo left for prison yesterday morning, but decided to make a detour along the way and stop by the home of his estranged wife Phaedra Parks.

Nida verbally attacked Parks, forced himself into her home and made off with some of her property, all while cameras were rolling, witnesses say.

Given his unusual behavior, many assumed The Real Housewives of Atlanta star would go on the run. Late last night, however, Nida posted the following video message online:

"Well, everyone, I have finally arrived at the penitentiary," Nida says in the 16-second clip. "I'm about to go asunder. Thank you for the support and prayer. Stay tuned and you'll hear from me shortly."

Earlier today, we reported that Apollo Nida had reported to prison after spending his last months as a free man avoiding his wife and children.

Now it seems that Nida is a wanted man after failing to turn himself in.

Yes, Apollo apparently had a last-minute change of heart.

About both prison and his family. TMZ reports that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star decided to pay one final visit to his estranged wife Phaedra Parks.

As you might've guessed, it didn't go well.

Apollo reportedly demanded that Phaedra put money into his prison account and bring their children for visits while he's locked up. She refused and that's when he really lost it:

Apollo Nida is no longer a free man.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and soon-to-be-ex-husband of Phaedra Parks has turned himself in to authorities today to begin serving an eight year sentence in federal prison.

Nida pled guilty to fraud back in May, and though he was able to have his sentence and fines reduced in exchange for "cooperating with authorities" (snitching), he'll still be locked up for most of the next decade and forced to pay $2 million in restitution.

Apollo and Phaedra's relationship went downhill in the months following his conviction, with Nida publicly admitting that Parks didn't even come to his sentencing.

Apollo apparently decided to return the favor by blowing off Phaedra and their two children for his last two months as a free man.

Don't tell T.I., but Apollo Nida is snitching again ... this time on himself in a new tell-all book he's trying to wrap up before he reports to prison next week.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, staring at eight years in the big house for fraud staring next week, is reportedly putting the finishing touches on a memoir.

Hard at work on his autobiography, Apollo Nida has teamed with multiple ghostwriters to get his story down on paper in the period prior to his incarceration.

Nida is said to be focusing on his life, his upbringing, and the events that led him to reality stardom alongside Phaedra Parks and ultimately to prison.

He even shot a photo for the cover. No doubt a debonair one.

According to TMZ, he has come to face the reality of jail as "the next chapter of his life" ... which is fitting as he tries to write about the chapters thus far.

Still, all this can't be an easy transition for the wannabe big shot, whose marriage to Phaedra is on shaky ground at best, and who faces a far from certain release date.

A lot has been written about Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks’ marriage and their future prospects, but this is eyebrow-raising even by their standards.

While Nida and Parks readily admit to having “issues” in their marriage, we now know she's slammed him for visiting strip clubs in new court filings.

Parks made the explosive claims in a deposition for her defamation case against Angela Stanton, an acquaintance who wrote a book about her.

Stanton's book, Lies of a Real Housewife, chronicles the alleged dark side and shady secrets of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and attorney.

Parks says of how Nida met Stanton, “I mean, she’s a stripper ... she was a stripper. And you know, my husband obviously has been one to frequent strip clubs.”

When an attorney called into question her familiarity with her husband’s genitals, Phaedra Parks seemed to suggest she hadn’t seen them for a while.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is not losing cast member Phaedra Parks. She is already filming episodes for the new season, according to multiple reports.

Rumors of Phaedra Parks leaving have run rampant in recent weeks, but she is not doing so, nor is she taking any leave of absence from the Bravo show.

Not only that, but her convicted felon husband - the Phaedra rumors began after a judge had Apollo Nida sentenced to prison - will be back on camera, too.

Well, at least until he ... you know.

Various sources have claimed Phaedra and Apollo are over - he insinuated as much recently - but whatever their status, they've been filming together.

Filming more than usual, no less.

In fact, the producers are reportedly trying to shoot as much of the two as possible before he begins serving his eight-year prison sentence for fraud.

There's a scheduling conflict for you.

Apollo Nida is facing eight years in prison after being convicted on several counts of fraud.

Initial reports indicated that he and Phaedra would try to make it work despite his lengthy sentence, and there were even rumors that Apollo and Phaedra would try an "open relationship," to help her endure is bid.

We learned today, however, that Apollo is having none of that, as he revealed in a radio interview that he's already given up on his marriage.

Asked if he thought his relationship would be able to survive while he's in prison, Nida replied, "I doubt it. My wife didn't even show up for my f--king sentencing. So I'm still kind of salty about that."

Wow. Maybe if Apollo had made a habit of always being that straight forward then he wouldn't be in this mess!

It was a dark day for Apollo Nida when he was sentenced to eight years in prison, and that wasn't even the half of it. He must repay his victims, NOW.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star turned convict has been ordered by a judge to pay nearly $2 million in restitution for his massive fraud right.

According to court documents filed in Atlanta on July 16, Nida owes a total of $1,948,214.85, including hundreds of thousands to U.S. states.

He also owes six figures to the IRS, the U.S. Department Housing and Urban Development, and private companies (JP Morgan Chase gets $828,300).

All of that is “due and payable immediately” according to court files.

If he can’t wipe out the debt all at once, the court demands he pay "any portion of the criminal monetary debt that remains unpaid” when he gets out.

Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks are still together despite his prison sentence, at least for now, though reports say the duo may consider an open marriage.

Apollo and Phaedra

There's no disputing the fact that The Real Housewives of Atlanta pair is going through tough times, with Apollo Nida sentenced to eight years in prison.

Believing that Apollo has not always been faithful to her in the past makes it even harder for Phaedra to stay loyal, on top of his bank fraud conviction.

That's why, allegedly, she's considering an open marriage while he's locked up.

Not sure how she'd explain that to her two little kids, Ayden and Dylan, but it's easy to see how she reached her breaking point when it comes to Apollo.
