Miss Phaedra Parks, Real Housewives of Atlanta's resident "Southern Belle" declare in open court that she has never committed any fraud charges or run a criminal enterprise.

Parks filed an affidavit on March 31 in Gwinnett County suing Lies of a Real Housewife author Angela Stanton for defamation.

"“Due to the falsity of the material in the book, and to protect her reputation, on or about September 26, 2012, [Parks] filed a defamation action against [Stanton]," read the court documents.

The documents go on to say that Phaedra Parks claims she “verifies, under oath, that the allegations made by the Defendant in her Book and referenced in the Plaintiff’s Complaint are false,” and that Angela Stanton “knew the statements she made about the plaintiff were false when she made them.”

Stanton claims in her book that Parks was the mastermind behind the criminal enterprise which consisted of bank fraud, auto title theft, and racketeering for which her now-husband, Apollo Nida and Angela Stanton, spent time in jail.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Episode 19 proved that the men can be just as overdramatic and off the chain as the women who give the show its name.

Not that male cat fights are totally foreign if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, but this didn't even have to do with the Apollo Nida-Kenya Moore drama!

It was all sort of indirectly connected to Kenya, but only at the onset.

When Moore dismissed the men so that she and the ladies could engage in another boozy argument during their last night in Mexico, the men did them one better.

The men of the house all made their way up to Kenya's bedroom, because of course they did, to have some chats of their own, and once they got there?

Well, all we can say is you best grab a hat, and hold the f--k onto it.

Apollo Nida is nearing plea deal with the government just two months after his arrest for identity theft, bank fraud, and conspiracy charges, reports indicate.

Will that be enough to keep The Real Housewives of Atlanta star out of jail? As is the case with fellow Bravo star Teresa Giudice, all of this remains unclear.

Nida, Phaedra Parks' husband and the guy Kenya Moore wants to bone (watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online for more on that), was arrested in January.

On February 14, the court set a pre-trial date of March 25.

Since that time, his attorneys “and counsel for the government have been engaged in discussions,” newly filed court documents obtained by Radar reveal.

“They are still in the process of investigating additional facts and negotiating a resolution,” and “have made substantial progress toward a resolution.”

Last night's The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Episode 18 saw Phaedra Parks warn Apollo Nida to please, for everyone's sake, stay away from Kenya Moore.

Obviously, we wouldn't watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online every week without fail if he took heed and abided by those wise words, would we? No. No.

Apollo is obviously not thinking things through here but considering we are talking about Apollo Nida, let's try not to act too surprised by this alarming revelation.

That being said, most of the installment was spent revisiting old storylines without advancing them, so the hype was much greater than the payoff ... however:

The alleged flirting between Apollo Nida and Kenya Moore that raised the ire of Phaedra Parks certainly came up again and things got more than a bit awkward.

Whatever happened earlier this year - she was clearly into him, he behaved at least semi-inappropriately, Phaedra was reluctant to go on this trip to Mexico.

Apparently, that Bravo contract is air-tight, because she goes anyway AND she brings Apollo along, 'cause nothing can go wrong in this scenario at all.

You're gonna want to watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online or live this weekend when Kenya Moore confronts Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo Nida.

His claims that she propositioned him in Los Angeles will come to the forefront of the Bravo reality show's next installment, and suffice it to say, it won't be pretty.

“From the beginning when I met you, I was the biggest Apollo fan. I think you know that," Moore explains to her embattled co-star in this sneak peek.

"It seemed as though when Phaedra and I fell out, you and I were still cool. Then, I feel like you were trying to attack me and make me look bad."

Nida says he felt “the same way” about her, but Moore wasn’t buying it, replying “I never said anything negative about you. You can’t find one instance."

The former Miss USA pushed on and asked why Apollo Nida infamously told Phaedra Parks that he could have "slept with" Moore if he wanted to.

“Where is all this coming from? We both know that the stuff you were throwing out there, that it didn’t happen,” Moore said, to which he responded:

When Apollo Nida was arrested for fraud and identity theft, he insisted that his marriage to Phaedra Parks would be unaffected by his legal issues.

Yeah, so much for that.

According to reports, the two have actually been living separate lives for weeks, if not longer; they haven't been photographed together since November.

Instead of standing by her Apollo Nida’s side as he prepares for trial, Parks has chosen to launch a book tour for her advice guide Secrets of a Southern Belle.

Kind of hard to blame her, no?

Nida was arrested on January 24. Free on bail, he recently made a trip to South Carolina, where he was spotted partying with other women on Valentine’s Day.

Is it all over for the couple?

Apollo Nida just caught a break, at least for now. The impending trial for The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and accused identity theft mastermind has been delayed.

A judge granted his request to delay his trial until March.

In court documents filed Friday, a federal judge wrote that "this delay will allow the parties time necessary to discuss a resolution of the allegations.”

“The Court finds that the ends of justice served by granting the motion to continue outweighs the public’s and defendant’s interest in a speedy trial."

Apollo Nida filed a request asking for the delay February 10, claiming that a postponement was necessary to respond to the government’s charges.

That way, he can weigh a plea deal vs. going to trial.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Episode 14 was one giant hot mess, as you might expect after the epic fight that broke out last Sunday.

This week, in typical Bravo fashion (if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you knew it was coming), the ladies rehashed the whole thing!

The main takeaway? Blame Kenya Moore 100 percent.

The ladies are all about drama, but with Kenya, it's on another level. Woman doesn't just like to gossip. She wants it to boil over to almost pathological levels.

Cynthia and Kandi worked out their issues, while Nene was the one to got to the bottom of the brouhaha, and for once, the women were a united front!

Well, not Kenya. The rest were united against Kenya.

As Ms. Leakes pointed out, others were involved, but the whole brawl (see video below, we really can't do it justice) started because Kenya overreacted.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida is free on bail pending his trial on federal fraud charges, surrendering his passport as a condition of his bail.

Phaedra Parks‘ husband is free after posting $25,000 bail after being charged with bank fraud and identity theft on January 23, following a months-long probe.

The investigation began last fall, right around the time the INSANE FIGHT that aired on Sunday's episode. YIKES. Apollo was likely a little stressed ...

He is required to regularly report to a probation officer, and actively seek employment (starring on RHOA doesn’t count in the eyes of the court apparently).

Apollo Nida was ordered to give up his passport, may only leave Atlanta if officials approve the trip, and must surrender any firearms immediately.

He must also refrain from ingesting drugs or alcohol and obey all laws ... let's hope the judge didn't watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online Sunday.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks' husband, has reportedly been charged by federal officials with bank fraud and identity theft.

Nida was named in a criminal complaint last Tuesday after an investigation by the U.S. District Attorney's office, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The paper reports that Nida created fake companies and then used access to credit reporting databases to locate individuals whose names he used.

His alleged goal? To fraudulently open bank accounts and obtain loans.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you know Nida's reputation. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the law, to say the least.
