Former child star Anna Chlumsky (My Girl) was one of the most buzzed-about celebs on the red carpet at the 2013 Emmys, and it's easy to see why.

In a strapless, emerald green Badgley Mischka gown, the Veep actress, 32, showed her amazing post-baby body just two months after giving birth:

The Outstanding Supporting Actress nominee and her husband of five years, Shaun So, welcomed a little baby girl named Penelope in July.

"Thank you to the amazing doctors and nursing staff at #StLukesRoosevelt," Chlumsky tweeted. "Your care and expertise are inspiring. Super people."

While she lost out to Merritt Wever from Nurse Jackie, it's no wonder she landed on many Emmys Best Dressed lists with this fashion performance.

“She’s a really good mix between my husband and me,” Chlumsky tells People. “When she’s with him, you see him, and when she’s with me, you see me. She’s a perfect mix.

"We think she has my mouth, but it’s hard to tell. Even the color of her eyes, they are different in different light. But she has a really full head of hair.”

This has been an especially enjoyable week for Chlumsky: earlier today, she was nominated for an Emmy Award!

Well, the actress is older now. And engaged!

According to People magazine, the former co-star of Macaulay Culkin will be marrying Shaun So, an Army reserve member who served in Afghanistan.

"Shaun's family is Chinese, and my family is Catholic. So we're going to do a fusion of the two cultural traditions," Chlumsky said last week.

Maybe she'll speak with Katharine McPhee for advice, now that the American Idol finalist is engaged to Nick Cokas.

"There will be Lai See ... [money given in red envelopes]. That's what the children get during Chinese New Year. And you'll have a big feast. Both of our fathers are chefs, so food is number one."

While the couple said that they will skip the traditional Chinese tradition of "kidnapping" the bride, they would like to include a tea ceremony.

"You pour tea for members of both of your families," said Chlumsky, "and that's a consolidation of the family."

That, or you follow the tradition of Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller: you send crazy emails to Denise Richards.
