The late Amy Winehouse's father, Mitch Winehouse, is speaking out about Beyonce's new cover of "Back to Black," and false reports that he slammed it.

The song for the upcoming Great Gatsby soundtrack features Andre 3000 and prompted reports that Mitch wasn't a fan, claiming B "brings nothing" to it.

Not the case, says Mitch, who clarified his take on the song.

He tweeted: "I like Beyonce's cover and have no probs."

Nas' new song featuring the late Amy Winehouse has surfaced.

The track, "Cherry Wine," premiered on BBC's Radio 1 on Tuesday night. Produced by Amy's longtime collaborator Salaam Remi, "Cherry Wine" will appear on the rapper's tenth studio album, Life is Good, which is slated for a July 17 release.

Take a listen below and see what you think ...

Nas and Winehouse previously collaborated on "Like Smoke," which appeared on the British chanteuse's posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures.

Remi said that Winehouse "left something beyond her years. Her body of work will inspire an unborn generation. I'm blessed to be part of that process."

She was found dead at age 27 at her home in Camden in July 2011. Amy Winehouse's cause of death was determined to be severe alcohol poisoning.

Amy Winehouse's final, posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, will officially hit stores tomorrow. The new album cover has been unveiled ahead of the release.

Like her Back to Black art, it's understated with a classic feel.

The cover is vintage Amy Winehouse, with her trademark beehive, '60s style winged black eyeliner and tattoos, her eyes downcast in a vulnerable, melancholy state ...

The photo, taken by singer Bryan Adams of all people in 2007, is subtle and tasteful, to be expected given that the album has received the Winehouse family's blessing.

In related news, the printed chiffon Disaya-designed dress the late star wore for the cover of Back to Black, the Grammy-winning 2006 smash, has been auctioned.

Proceeds from the sale - $68,000 by a Chilean music museum, randomly - will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation, as will money made her new album sales.

A new song off Amy Winehouse's posthumous, upcoming album has been released, and it is beautiful, conjuring up the best possible memories of the late chanteuse.

Her voice, her style, her raw ability - it's all on display and then some, which is a pleasant surprise. Often times, these types of albums fall well short of expectations.

Not here. The cover of Ruby and the Romantics' 1963 song "Our Day Will Come," which she recorded back in 2002 but never released, is vintage Amy Winehouse.

Her third album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, drops December 5. If this soft, sultry track is any indication of what the full record is like, it might be a must-have:

A posthumous album from Amy Winehouse will soon be released.

Island Records' Lioness: Hidden Treasures, featuring 12 tracks of previously unreleased and rare recordings from the late chanteuse, is coming December 5.

At an emotional family gathering last week, the singer's dad, Mitch Winehouse, wept as he listened to the music, some of which he had never heard before.

"It wasn't until I sat down with the rest of the family and listened to this album that I fully appreciated the breadth of Amy's talent," says Mitch Winehouse.

"From jazz standards to hip-hop songs, it really took my breath away," her grieving dad said in a statement. "I never realized what a true genius she was."

Coming from her biggest fan, that's saying something.

Winehouse never released another album after her 2006 smash Back to Black, but recorded plenty of unreleased material from which her label might choose.

The new album apparently includes one track written while she was on drugs, according to the Sun, as well as a song about a cheating Blake Fielder-Civil.

It is both appropriate and sad that the video for “Body and Soul,” a duet by Tony Bennett and the late Amy Winehouse, has been released on her 28th birthday.

The duet, recorded earlier this year, would be Amy's final recording. The soul singer passed away in late July, possibly due to a seizure brought on by detoxing.

Watch her sing along with one of the all-time greats right here:

“Body and Soul” is one of many big-name collaborations on Duets II, set to be released next Tuesday. Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin and other big stars team up with Bennett, who's still going strong at 85.

Amy Winehouse’s final recording turned out to be a collaboration with Tony Bennett on the classic song “Body & Soul” for his upcoming album, Duets II.

“Body & Soul” drops Wednesday with the full album - also featuring Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin and Carrie Underwood - set for release this Friday.

Bennett recently spoke about recording with the late Amy Winehouse, who he saw as a kindred spirit carrying on an endangered musical legacy ...

Amy admitted she was nervous, but still seemed at ease working with one of her idols in Bennett, 85, on one of her dad Mitch’s favorite songs.

The feeling of admiration was mutual.

“What I love about Amy Winehouse is that, of all the singers since the Beatles, automatically you check everyone out who’s a lot younger, but there’s been such a big walk away from jazz,” Bennett told EW recently.

The late Amy Winehouse's final recording, a duet with the great Tony Bennett, will be released as a charity single for a foundation set up in her name.

"Body and Soul" will go on sale in September, with all proceeds going to the newly established Amy Winehouse Foundation, according to her dad, Mitch.

Mitch Winehouse was always Amy's biggest supporter, having tried for years to get her help. Now that she's gone, he's advocating important causes.

Winehouse and Bennett

Winehouse and Bennett, who just turned 85 (!), recorded the pop song in March at London's Abbey Road Studios for Tony's forthcoming Duets II album.

The 27-year-old Winehouse, who famously struggled in recent years with drug and alcohol addiction, was found dead at her London home July 23.

Her cause of death remains inconclusive, but family believes that an abrupt alcohol withdrawal, rather than a drug overdose, was likely to blame.

Young British singer Adele, whose album 21 is currently enjoying widespread critical and commercial success, has paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse.

Adele, like Amy, attended London’s BRIT performing arts school, says the singer, who was found dead Saturday “paved the way for artists like me."

While Winehouse single-handedly "got people excited about British music again,” Adele doesn't think she “ever realised just how brilliant she was.”

Adele's statement, headlined “AMY FLIES IN PARADISE X,” appears below:

“not many people have it in them to do something they love, simply because they love it. with no fuss and no compromise. but she knew what she was capable of and didn’t even need to try."

"if she wanted to do something she would and if she didn’t she’d say f— off. it came easy to her and that’s why we all loved her so much."

"we believed every word she wrote, and it would sink in deep when she sang them. Amy paved the way for artists like me and made people excited about british music again whilst being fearlessly hilarious and blase about the whole thing."

The oft-intoxicated, always-exhausted Amy Winehouse has given some effed-up live performances in the past, but may have set a new high/low with this one.

When a local paper calls it "the worst [concert] in the history of Belgrade," that's bad. As is having a backup singer handle the lead vocals when you can't.

At one point at the show, which took place this weekend, Amy got so disoriented that she started mumbling lyrics, then just threw her mic to the floor.

She then rested on equipment and wandered around on stage. We don't want to jump to conclusions and say she's on drugs ... but she's TOTALLY on drugs!

Seriously, check out the two clips from the Belgrade Butchering below ...
