When it comes to that miscreant Justin Bieber, neither Canada nor the United States seems to want the kid, if Olympic hockey billboards are to be believed.

He's Canadian, just for the record. Sorry, you're not perfect after all, Canada.

Other famous faces, however, actually bring honor and pride to their countries of birth, so much so that America would gladly claim them for her own.

Many stars born elsewhere who work primarily in the U.S. seek dual citizenship, and that's actually pretty neat if you think about it. They love us! They really love us!

They seem as American as apple pie, but plenty of your favorite stars weren't born here at all. See 29 examples below ... and you'll never believe #29:

Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman, nee Natalie Hershlag, was born in Jerusalem in 1981. She has dual citizenship in the United States and Israel.

Some celebrities get famous - and that fame goes straight to their heads.

They forget all the little people they stepped on while climbing up the Hollywood ladder, turning into massive jackasses in the process. (Let's be real. There's a good chance they were jackasses before they got famous.)

Other celebrities, however, use their powers for good, doing good where they can. Take Ian Somerhalder, who uses his platform and stardom to raise awareness of causes near and dear to his heart, such as the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, which helps find sources of green energy that are sustainable for all people.

But we're not just talking about those who are lending their star power to fundraising efforts for disasters large and small, though billions and billions have been raised through said efforts.

Today we're talking about stars like Amy Adams, who gave up her first class seat to a soldier; and Ryan Gosling, who quite literally saved a woman's life in New York City one day, proving he's got a hot body and a huge heart.

Check out 7 celebrity acts of kindness and then go do something good for someone else. Pay it forward, y'all.

Paul Walker and Philip Seymour Hoffman's untimely deaths left voids in their unfinished projects.

While the Fast & Furious franchise opted to use Walker's real-life, non-acting brother to finish up, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay will go on with a computer-generated image of Plutarch Heavensbee in Hoffman's place.

None of that would matter had those men had their very own celebrity doppelgänger.

And after creating this celebrity look-alike gallery, we're sort of shocked no one tapped Joseph Gordon-Levitt to fill in for Heath Ledger. (Just wait until you get to #7 and see what we mean.)

Prepare to have your mind blown, ladies and THGers. These 19 celebrity look-alikes are so similar you won't believe they aren't related. (They aren't. We checked.)

Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel looks more like Katy Perry than she does her own sister. No Bones about it.

We know many musicians who have made the move from the radio to the screen. Some have been successful and some have been Britney Spears.

(Don't pretend that watching Crossroads isn't on your list of regrets.)

But there are more than a few actors out there who possess vocal talents greater than or equal to their ability to bring characters to life via carefully scripted screenplays.

Here are 15 actors who are surprisingly good singers ...

Hayden Panettiere
Hayden Panettiere is a tiny powerhouse of talent. She performs her own songs on hit show Nashville, where she portrays a country music artist.

You might not know it by looking at them, but these actors have often parlayed their singing talents into acting gigs. In some cases, they've abandoned the acting world altogether for music.

And then there's Kristen Bell.

Redheads sometimes get a bad wrap in the looks department. They're pale, they're freckled, there's a whole day devoted to kicking them (thanks for that South Park!).

And yet there is something fascinating about redheads.

Maybe it's because they're so rare - only 1-2% of the world's population is ginger, and there have been studies for years saying they might eventually go extinct.

These 15 celebrities prove that though the gene might be recessive, their hotness is dominant. *rimshot!*

I'd be happy to do my part help keep the redheaded gene alive with any of them. Call me?

Emma Stone
Emma Stone is a stone cold red-headed fox.

Did your favorite ginger make the list? Who did we forget?
