Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was just reamed out in an Indiana courtroom, accused of violating her probation and pulling a no-show for two urine tests.

Law enforcement sources say Portwood got popped on December 16 for possession of a controlled substance. It's unclear what exactly the substance was.

She also failed to provide mandatory urine drug screening results on December 16 and December 19. Not a smart move when you're on probation already.

Awful Amber

That's not even all. Amber Portwood is on the hook for various other alleged probation violations, including failure to complete anger management class.

A judge recently ordered her to set up a college fund for her young daughter, Leah. You can probably guess whether or not that's happened.

Spoiler: It has not.

As such, Amber was ordered to remain in custody until her hearing in late January. At that point, the Teen Mom's longer-term fate will be determined.

SIDE NOTE: This is her second straight Christmas in jail. Wow.

Looks like Amber Portwood is back jail.

It's not entirely clear why at this time, but a judge issued a warrant for her arrest today, and it was executed. The Teen Mom star was apprehended and booked.

The arrest may be related to Amber's most recent alleged probation violations, including a fight she got into at a restaurant last month or a new one entirely.

Amber Portwood is currently being booked at Madison County Jail in her home state of Indiana, where she's now expected to spend the night ... and the holidays.

Amber Portwood Crying

She's due to face a judge on January 13 for violating probation. We're talking every single one of her probation terms. Think Lindsay Lohan style, but worse.

Amazingly, if she does spend Christmas behind bars, it will be the second consecutive year that's happened to Amber. Signs you may have some issues ...

UPDATE: Amber's brother Shawn tells E! News that his sister missed her most recent probation hearing and, as a result, authorities went to her house.

While there, they went through her purse and found some "old pills" that Amber said were from an earlier prescription ... which she couldn't produce proof of.

Therefore, she was jailed, release date TBA. Sheriff's deputies say it "will be up to the courts to decide" how long she stays there. Not looking good.

As crazy as this sounds, Amber Portwood should take some cues from Lindsay Lohan.

The Teen Mom train wreck could end up in prison for up to two YEARS after she allegedly violated the terms of her probation - all of them, and repeatedly.

Similar to LiLo, her probation includes ONEROUS tasks such as staying sober in public and not beating up people. Clearly too much to juggle all at once.

Amber Portwood's probation officer claims she committed these violations:

  • Amber Portwood Mugshot
  • Amber Portwood Mug Shot
  • Failure to obtain a GED.
  • Failure to pay probation fees.
  • Failure to set up a $10,000 college fund for her baby daughter.
  • Failure to complete six months of anger control evaluation and classes.
  • Our personal favorite: Failure to behave well in society. Presumably this includes drinking too much and hitting a person at a restaurant last month.

The reason this is all a big deal is that Amber Portwood was given two years in jail after being convicted of beating the crap out of baby daddy Gary Shirley, however Amber's sentence was suspended on the condition that she complete probation. Yeah.

Amber's due back in court for a hearing in January, when she'll have the opportunity to explain herself. She may want to give Shawn Holley a call, STAT.

Nice to see Amber Portwood is pulling it together so well these days.

On Saturday, the same day we reported what a suicidal wreck she still is, Amber got in an altercation while drinking at the 59th Street Pub in Anderson, Ind.

Those court-ordered anger management classes? Money well spent.

Clueless Amber

An onlooker says she was drinking and got into a fight with some girls on the dance floor of the club, where the 21-year-old Teen Mom star is a regular.

“Some people can’t handle fame,” a witness says. “They were on the dance floor, it was crowded on a Saturday night, and she bumped into some girls."

Words were exchanged.

"Amber ended up saying ‘You’re just jealous because I own a house and a car,’ and that made it worse. The other girls tried, but she couldn’t let it go!”

According to the witness, Amber Portwood was drinking, but wasn’t “wasted” outside the club early in the morning when she was screaming at a girl.

“She’s just young and I think she likes being the center of attention,” the source adds. “She wants to tell everybody what she has and what she owns and that makes people mad. She basically thinks she’s better than everyone else.”

She's basically totally wrong.

In the midst of Amber Portwood's apparent suicide attempt earlier this week, it was Gary Shirley who called 911 and begged the operator for help.

"She's going to hang herself," he warned of the Teen Mom star, with whom he has a contentious relationship (and a two-year-old daughter, Leah).

In the 911 call, Gary said Amber Portwood had mentioned that she was "having a hard time with her life" and feared she might commit suicide.

Gary remained calm throughout, but it was an ugly situation just the same. Be advised of this if you listen to the Amber Portwood 911 call here:

"I just spoke with my girlfriend and she said ... she's having a hard time with her life ... call the police, they can find my body in the garage."

"I'm calling you guys because I don't want her to kill herself."

These excerpts are no laughing matter. The police came to the home and Amber was taken to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.

It's unclear why Amber was in such a bad place that day, but there have been rumors - which Shirley denies - of Gary cheating on her.

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was rushed to the hospital in Indiana today, and reports from TMZ state that she threatened to take her own life.

Cops in Anderson, Ind., say someone called police from Amber's home claiming the 21-year-old "was depressed and threatening to end her life."

Amber Portwood did not appear to be injured when the cops arrived and she was promptly taken to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.

Troubled Amber Portwood

Amber is still in the hospital. Keep her in your thoughts.

It's unclear why Portwood was in shambles, but she and baby daddy Gary Shirley had actually been on relatively good terms in the last couple of months.

It's also unclear if this will affect season three of Teen Mom, which is set to begin next month and reunites Portwood with the rest of the original cast.

More details to follow as the story develops ...

UPDATE: A police statement confirms that at 11:34 a.m. Anderson Police were called to a residence in the 1300 block of Pleasant Meadow Drive.

According to the caller, Amber was threatening to end her life. She did not appear injured, and was transported to a medical facility for evaluation.

Troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood claims baby daddy Gary Shirley made "sexually vulgar" comments in a series of harassing phone calls last week.

According to a police report filed in Anderson, Ind., Ambs received 24 calls from a blocked ID between 11:56 p.m. February 3 and 5:21 a.m. on February 4.

Amber Portwood claims she recognized the voices as Gary and his "friend" Ashley Williamson - who Amber is accused of harassing on multiple occasions.

THAT HURTS: According to Amber, Gary's words did.

Amber told police she could hear Ashley threatening to kick her ass during the calls and that Gary was repeatedly saying "sexually vulgar" things to her.

Portwood, who faces assault charges for her televised attacks on Gary, claims the comments were SO vulgar, she wouldn't be more specific to police.

Gary has denied the calls and no further action has been taken by police. Yet. They should be arriving for this week's incident tonight or tomorrow.

Hours after she was charged with multiple felonies, Amber Portwood turned herself in to authorities late yesterday afternoon.

The troubled Teen Mom was placed in an Indiana jail, per the law, said an officer at the Madison County jail: "Domestic battery has an automatic hold. Even if someone pays your bond, you still have to wait 24 hours to be released."

The 20-year-old MTV star allegedly attacked Gary Shirley on three separate occasions over the last 12 months. He's the father of her two-year-old daughter, Leah.

Amber is expected to be released from prison at 4:15 EST. She faces two felony counts of domestic battery, one felony count of neglect of a dependent and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery.

Did MTV not only allow, but encourage Amber Portwood to lay the smack down on Gary Shirley on Teen Mom? That's the allegation of a new tabloid report.

Portwood is planning to use that as a defense against the felony charges she faces after manhandling Gary on a recent episode, the National Enquirer says.

Just when we were willing to give Teen Mom its due for lowering teen pregnancy rates, we learn MTV may be handing out bonuses for domestic violence. Wow.

Amber caught Gary off guard. The producers? Possibly not.

The 20-year-old single mom was recently charged with two felony counts of domestic battery after she was shown kicking and punching Gary this fall.

He was fine, but Amber and Gary's 2-year-old daughter, Leah, was present during two of the violent attacks, contributing to the felony classification.

Amber Portwood insists the violence was all a ruse and that show execs gave her an extra $1,000 to "get physical" with her ex during filming. Why?

Because they "wanted more drama," says an insider.

Looks like Amber Portwood's attacks on Gary Shirley will have consequences.

The Teen Mom star has been charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor for domestic violence and battery today. Under Indiana law, domestic abuse is a felony if a child is present for the abuse, as baby Leah was in both cases.

One of the charges is based on footage never aired by MTV. The other:

SLAPPED: Gary Shirley knows how that feels. Now Amber Portwood's been hit as well - with criminal charges stemming from the couple's recent squabbles.

The incidents related to the charges happened June 14, July 18 and August 14 of this year. Documents say Amber choked, slapped, punched and kicked Gary.

Detective Mitch Carroll says that if convicted, Amber Portwood faces up to three years in jail and fines of up to $10,000. Still, the troubled star is defiant.

“I didn’t hit Gary in front of Leah so there's no felony,” she told Hollywood Life. “There’s nothing against me. They can’t charge if they don’t have proof.”

We'll see about that, since she lost baby Leah as a result ...
