Amanda Seyfried is about to become very well-acquainted with a dirty-mouthed talking bear.

The actress has landed the female lead in Ted 2, a follow-up to Seth MacFarlane's 2012 comedy that will bring Mark Wahlberg back as the owner of everyone's favorite NC-17 rated stuffed animal.

Details on Seyfried's role are unclear at the moment, but she takes over for Mila Kunis, who may briefly reprise her role in the sequel as Wahlberg's love interest.

Sources tell Deadline that this is simply a creative decision by MacFarlane, who remains very close with Kunis.

In advance of Lovelace's Sundance Film Festival premiere, a new photo of Amanda Seyfried as legendary porn star Linda Lovelace has been released:

Amanda Seyfried as Lovelace

The actress, as you can see, is in full '70s character, just about to get to down to business with fellow porn star Harry Reems, played by Adam Brody.

Damn you Adam Brody.

That's Hank Azaria in the director's chair, with Chris Noth and Bobby Canavale on either side, FYI, ready to monitor whatever adult film magic might ensue.

Seyfried replaced Lindsay Lohan, who had to pull out (a topic she knows a lot about - WHAT) due to scheduling constraints, i.e. being on probation and in court every other day.

Think she can hack it as the iconic porn queen?

Amanda Seyfried plays the titular porn icon in Lovelace, the upcoming biopic about the '70s adult film industry's most famous Deep Throat practitioner.

Amanda took over for Lindsay Lohan after producers cut her loose amid her never-ending legal woes. While Lindsay seemed like a natural fit, this may have been a real blessing in disguise for the film, which co-stars Peter Sarsgaard.

Check out the first Lovelace poster and see why:

Sarsgaard plays the husband who basically forces Seyfried's Lovelace into the industry (heathen), and James Franco even makes a cameo as Hugh Hefner himself.

The film will reportedly deconstruct the glamorous facade of the early porn biz via its rampant abuse of Lovelace, who went on to adamantly oppose her line of work.

Sounds like a must-see, and not necessarily only for its lead actress!
