Hello there, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin! The couple poses here, on its wedding day, for a well known British tabloid.

Naturally, most of the press coverage has focused on how "lucky" Amal is to have landed one of Hollywood's hottest bachelors.

Makes sense, but there's been a disturbing lack of discussion about Amal herself. After all, this is a brilliant, beautiful, highly successful civil rights attorney who could've had her pick of any dude in London (if she wanted a dude at all).

What made her choose to settle down with an aging commitment-phobe and notorious playboy?

Well, if you believe article about Amal in the latest People magazine, the previous 36 years of her life were just practice, and getting engaged to Clooney is, like, totally the bestest thing that ever happened to her:

George Clooney is following the lead of good friend Brad Pitt.

Not only in getting married, but in how he's using the celebrity gossip game to make money for important causes off that marriage.

As reported just a few weeks ago, Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated all $5 million they earned from selling their wedding photos to People Magazine and Hello! Magazine to various charities.

And now we can confirm that Clooney and new bride Amal Alamuddin have done the same exact thing.

Now, Clooney is featured on the People cover in a Giorgio Armani tuxedo, while Alamuddin stuns in an Oscar de la Renta gown.

Last week, we learned that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin will marry this month in Venice. Today, a flood of new information has been revealed including the date, and some truly surprising news about who's footing the bill.

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney Look Happy

First off, Us Weekly is claiming that the vows will be exchanged on September 27. Which means George only has nine days to turn tail and run, or be caught at the bottom of a pile of nude models.

Nothing too shocking there, as we knew that the ceremony would take place before the end of September. What it is surprising, however, is the report that Gorgeous George somehow Danny Oceaned his way into not spending a dime on his own wedding.

Yes, sources say that Amal's family insisted on paying for every aspect of the lavish Italian shindig. Mind you, the Alamuddins are very well off, but they're certainly not sitting on Clooney cash!

When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married last month, it seemed like no one knew about it beforehand other than the couple dozen guests who attended.

Brad's equally secretive friend George Clooney got engaged to Amal Alamuddin back in April and was expected to plan a surprise, low-key ceremony of his own.

That is, until last night, when he announced the location and approximate date of his wedding to a room full of reporters and celebs.

Rumors that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are expecting have been circulating since around the time they announced their engagement, but not now tabloids are taking it a step further and claiming that Amal is sporting a baby bump these days.

And by "baby bump," they mean a "fuller belly," which could also mean she just had a big meal.

Yes, In Touch has taken to printing eye witness accounts with the vaguest descriptions imaginable to verify their claims that Amal is totally knocked up.

"She has that pregnancy glow," says one source.

You heard it here first! She's glowing! Why even bother with an official announcement when you're strutting around town looking all glowy and rocking a food baby?

While his buddy Brad Pitt married Angelina Jolie over the weekend, George Clooney was reportedly in the depths of wedding planning hell.

Clooney offered his congrats to Brad and Angie today, but deep down the A-lister may have been jealous that their nuptials went off without a hitch, as sources say things have gotten so ugly between George and Amal Alamuddin that they may be ready to call off the ceremony.

According to the National Enquirer, Clooney and Alamuddin are quarreling over their prenup and can't see eye-to-eye with regard to what will happen to George's $220 million fortune in the event of a divorce.

"Given his shaky track record with women over the years, including a difficult divorce from his first wife and the brief longevity of most Hollywood marriages in general, I think he needs to make sure he has a prenuptial agreement that’s ironclad,” divorce attorney Raoul L. Felder tells the tabloid.
