Alexandra Kerry is a film producer and director and the daughter of U.S. Senator and 2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.

Her mother is Julia Thorne, who was married to John Kerry from 1970-1988. Alexandra also has a younger sister, Vanessa Kerry.

Kerry graduated from Milton Academy (Mass.) and then studied anthropology and modern culture and media at Brown University.

In 2004 she graduated from the directing program at the AFI Conservatory after she received the Richard Rogers award for excellence in directing.

Her short film The Last Full Measure premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won several awards at film festivals across the country.

In November 2009, Alexandra Kerry was busted for DUI in Hollywood. That may get thrown out.
