Alexa Chung Lands New, Boring Show on PBS
As far as career moves go, this isn't the kind most television personalities aim for: Alexa Chung is going from MTV to PBS.
The former host of It's On With Alexa Chung has signed on for Thrift America, an upcoming PBS program. It will premiere this summer and feature Chung combing through garage sales and flea markets in cities such as Detroit, Nashville and Brooklyn.
Sounds like an utter bore.
Do viewers really need to watch someone show us how to save money? Spending within one's means is not a very complicated concept. We'll take a drunken Situation or script-reading Brad Womack over this nonsense any day of the week.
MET Matchup: Gwen Stefani vs. Alexa Chung
As she deals with rumors of her husband's infidelity, Gwen Stefani smiled on the red carpet with Gavin Rossdale last night.
The singer looked beautiful, especially compared to Alexa Chung. No offense to that TV host and personality, but simply put: what the heck was she thinking at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala?!?
Was this the worst fashion disaster at the event? Kristen Stewart might have something to say about it. Take a look at what that actress wore to the benefit. YIKES!

Alexa Chung: Bound for America, MTV
Thanks to Susan Boyle and Hollie Steel, we already know that Britain's got talent.
Turns out, that country has beauty, too.
Americans will soon be inundated with an example of it, as The Alexa Chung Show is set to replace TRL and premiere on MTV in June.
The series will, aptly, be hosted by Alexa Chung, a British TV personality and former model. She's really pretty. See for yourself:
