USA women's soccer star Alex Morgan channels her inner Katy Perry in the new ESPN the Magazine, which is devoted to the worlds of music and sports.

In the publication, which also features an interesting Ryan Lochte Nirvana homage, Alex makes like Katy on the singer's "One of the Boys" cover:

  • Alex Morgan as Katy Perry
  • Katy Perry 'One of the Boys' Cover

Sports Illustrated wins for featuring Alex Morgan nude last year, but wow.

These two ladies may or may not be one of the boys, but the Olympic champion, 23, and pop superstar, 28, clearly know how to drive the boys crazy.

The obvious question: Who's hotter?!

The U.S. Women's Soccer Team is poised for the rematch its been waiting for since last summer. But it took everything this team had to get there.

The Stars and Stripes overcame a hat trick by Christine Sinclair and defeated Canada 4-3 this afternoon, with the winning goal coming off a header by Alex Morgan three minutes into injury time.

Earlier in the game, Megan Rapinoe scored in the 54th and 70th minutes, while Abby Wambach tied the match in the 80th for the Americans.

Soccer Celebration

Okay, there's one thing more exciting than Alex Morgan nude pics.

Next up for the impressive squad? A Gold Medal showdown against Japan, who shocked the U.S. on penalty kicks and won the 2011 World Cup.

That match will take place at 7:45 p.m. local time in London. United States citizens might have sat down from cheering by them. Let's go, team! Bring it on home!

They were teammates on the field, but Hope Solo and Alex Morgan are going at it away from the soccer pitch.

In October, the Team USA goalie posed naked for ESPN the Magazine's Body issue and now Morgan, another star on last summer's World Cup squad, is doing the same in the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

She's seen here in boday paint only:

"It was a completely new experience and definitely took some getting used to before I felt comfortable," Morgan says of standing around in nary an item of clothing. "I had to look in the mirror every five minutes to make sure I actually had a swimsuit on."

She does. Sort of.

This iconic, controversial edition of Sports Illustrated will be released on Tuesday, with the cover model unveiled Monday night on The Late Show with David Letterman.
