Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima will break into the fashionable world of Mode magazine when she makes her acting debut on Ugly Betty.

“Adriana has always been a huge fan of Ugly Betty and is thrilled for the opportunity to make a guest star appearance,” says rep Liza Anderson.

On a future episode of the show (which returns to ABC September 25, as is Grey's Anatomy), Lima will be hired to pose in the fictional Mode.

She will work with Betty Suarez (America Ferrera) on the cover story of the "sizzling hot issue" about the virtues of exotic fruit and more.

Ugly Betty's a good show, sure, but we admit it: Part of the motivation for posting this story was to re-use this Adriana Lima topless pic. Can you blame us?

Why? Do we really have to explain? Are you seriously questioning The Hollywood Gossip instead of thanking us? Good, good. We didn't think so.

Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr and Brandon Davis - yes, the racist, loathsome Greasy Bear! - were spotted hooking up. Unbelievable.

On a similarly weird, if less oily note, mediocre NBA player Marko Jaric somehow got supermodel Adriana Lima to sign him to a lifetime deal.

Greasy and Miranda - who just dumped Orlando Bloom - have actually been linked more than once. The latter was seen last night at the ESPYs.

We don't know which pair is more shocking:

The Boston Celtics may have enjoyed an historic comeback victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game Four of the NBA Finals last night - but the happiest player in the NBA right now doesn't wear green.

Indeed, Marko Jaric surprised super model Adriana Lima on her birthday yesterday with a proposal.

"He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn't be more in love," said publicist James Weir.

Marko Jaric will be seeing Adriana Lima nude for the rest of his life. Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to work on our jump shot.

This odd pairing has been together for about nine months, as the Serbian star admitted in March that Lima had captured his heart.

"I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint," he said at the time. "Now, it's a little different situation."

Minnesota Timberwolves star Marko Jaric is "over the moon" about his new love, Victoria's Secret supermodel Adriana Lima. But don't believe celebrity gossip that he's shopping for engagement rings. At least not yet.

The couple have been dating for the last six months, but Marko Jaric says he was perplexed by recent celebrity news sites' reports talking about him checking out local jewelry stores for a rock for Adriana Lima.

"I am not shopping right now," the 29-year-old Serbian Sensation said.

"But I could start tomorrow. I am that close. I'm definitely not yet engaged, but it doesn't mean we're not thinking about it."

Marko Jaric may not hit many jump shots, but he's hitting Adriana Lima.

When the time comes, however, the entire process may come as a surprise.

"I would rather keep that my own secret," says Marko Jaric, who averages a pedestrian 7.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game career.

"It's a life decision ... a private thing."

Jaric admits he's not normally such a romantic, but being with a Brazilian supermodel like Adriana Lima has changed him. Funny how that will do it.

Just give it time. This guy is so smitten it's not even funny. In a few months these two will be engaged just like Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. Watch.
