More than just rumor has it, folks:

Adele is close to making her comeback!

Via the official World Music Awards Twitter account, the singer appears to have announced that she will soon release a new album and also going on tour to support it.

With her first two albums titled "19" and "21,” based on her age when she recorded them, Adele is set to release "25."

What's in a name? As it turns out, maybe everything.

Since Shakespeare first posited the question in Romeo and Juliet, actors have been using fake names to land professional roles. Not only did it allow them some semblance of privacy before the dawn of Wikipedia, but let's face it, some people just aren't born with great names.

Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor? Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta? Quite a mouthful.

If an actor or musician's entire career is dedicated to being someone else - a character or personality, perhaps - then a good stage name can go a long way to making that career explode.

More celebrities use pseudonyms than you might think. In fact, here are 67 stars who don't use their real names. Which ones did you know before viewing this gallery?

Lorde
Musical sensation Lorde was given the name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor at birth. We'd probably go with Lorde, too.

Kelly Clarkson wants a baby. ASAP. Two babies, actually. Adele, however, has advised her fellow songbird to hold her horses. Or her ovaries. You know, whichever.

Adele apparently told Kelly "Girl, don't have a baby, 'cause everything else will go on the back burner! I'm living in babyland!" while the two chatted at the Grammys this year.

Kelly, who married music manager Brandon Blackstock in October, says she's ready for a family. In fact, they are trying like rabbits to make it happen.

"Brandon has two kids and I want two more!" the original American Idol said in an interview with the Daily Mail (UK). "My eggs aren't getting young!"

The numbers most often associated with Adele will likely always be 19 and 21 due to her best-selling albums, and her once-in-a-generation vocal talents.

But let's all focus on 25 today instead, shall we?

That's her age. It's Adele's birthday, people!

The singer's 2011 was one of the best years ever for a musician, and her 2012 was also notable for a very different reason. Adele gave birth to a baby boy.

She and partner Simon Konecki are basking in romantic and parental bliss, with music taking a back seat for the time being, and for that, we commend her.

It's not like she's gone from the music scene altogether, either. She added her name to the list of 2013 Oscar winners with her James Bond hit "Skyfall."

We wish her the happiest of birthdays!

Joan Rivers is continuing her assault against Adele.

About a month after going off on the singer to David Letterman (“What is her song? Rolling in the deep?” Rivers asked. “She should add fried chicken!”), the comedian told HuffPost Live that she was not being "mean" to the artist.

"She's a chubby lady who's very, very rich, and she should just calm down - or lose weight!" Rivers said, adding:

"She wanted an apology, so I took an ad out on her ass. I said, 'You are not fat.' And then I had room for a lot of other ads. Adele is beautiful and successful and has what, $100 million? Let's face reality: she's fat!"

Is Adele planning a secret wedding to Simon Konecki?

The couple, who recently welcomed 5-month-old son Angelo, are in the process of planning their nuptials. "She's been planning it for a while," says an insider.

The resolutely private crooner's nuptials will go down "in the summer or fall" and likely at her new home, another source told celebrity news magazine Us.

Forget Rolling in the Deep.

According to Joan Rivers, Adele continues to roll in the dough.

Appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman last night, the 80-year old comedian was asked about her experience at Sunday's Academy Awards and for whatever reason focused her wrath on this talented singer.

“What is her song? Rolling in the deep?” Rivers asked. “She should add fried chicken!”

Adele with an Award

After Adele gave birth last fall, meanwhile, Rivers Tweeted: “Congratulations to Adele on the birth of her 68 pound 8 ounces bouncing baby boy.”

She's been largely under the radar since giving birth, but Adele performed her hit "Skyfall" from the film of the same name at the 2013 Academy Awards.

Spoiler alert: Her hiatus hasn't affected her talent.

She's still got it. Watch the performance below!

"Skyfall" took home the Oscar for Best Original Song.

The title track from the latest James Bond movie was a big favorite to be among the 2013 Oscar winners, especially after Adele won a Golden Globe award for it.

Nevertheless, the British singer proved once again what a unique talent she is by bringing down the house (the sky, almost) at the Academy Awards.

Don't you agree?
