The sexual orientation of Adam Lambert is no longer a question.

Following months of speculation about this singer's likely affinity for men, Lambert let an evening out this week do all the talking:

He was spotted leaving Guys and Dolls nightclub in West Hollywood with Drake LaBry, a 24-year old interior designer that we can now confirm is dating the popular American Idol runner-up.

Sources say LaBry was often in attendance at Idol tapings this season, though no one knew of his relationship with Lambert at the time.

Click on the following pics of Adam and Drake to enlarge photos of the couple, hand-in-hand, from last night:

For the record, we don't care if Adam Lambert is gay or not.

The guy is a great singer and a seemingly nice, humble fella. That's all we need to know.

But millions of American Idol fans have been debating his sexual orientation - much to Adam's delight - for months. Supposedly, Lambert will officially come out of the closet in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.

Unless he did so last night.

The season eight runner-up was seen exiting a West Hollywood club, hand-in-hand with a man believed to be his boyfriend. We can't confirm or deny this rumor, but we can post photos of Lambert and his alleged lover...

Is this (lucky) guy Adam Lambert's boyfriend? Send us his name if you know it!

** UPDATE: Our astute readers have identified the man above as Drake LaBry, a 24-year old interior designer.

American Idol’s Kris Allen and Adam Lambert stopped in on the Today Show yesterday in New York City to answer a few questions, and more importantly, perform a few songs.

Allen went with his instantly classic “Heartless," along with “No Boundaries," while Lambert sang “Mad World.”

Big Plans for Allen and Lambert

Both contestants laughingly denied the rumors that there was an AT&T texting scandal, and made it clear that they have remained good friends throughout the competition.

Earlier this week, we asked readers if they thought Adam Lambert should officially come out of the closet.

A majority of respondents so far have said no, Lambert doesn't owe it to anyone to announce that he's gay.

Based on her appearance on this morning's edition of The View, it sounds like Kara DioGuardi would reply similarly, but for a different reason: everyone already knows Adam is gay!

"I don't think that Adam was ever in [the closet]," the American Idol judge said. "I think he was always openly out."

That's not entirely true, of course. Lambert has never been ashamed to act in a certain matter (nor should he be), but he's gone out of his way to beat around the homosexual bush each time a reporter has broached the topic of his sexuality.

Adam Lambert Rocks CBS' Early Show

Asked by Barbara Walters whether the perception of being gay negatively affected Lambert's finish on the show, DioGuardi said:

"I hope not...  because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry and they both [Lambert and winner Kris Allen] had that."

Do you agree? Do you think Lambert's sexual orientation cost him the American Idol crown?

It is so on.

While Adam Lambert and his American Idol rival Kris Allen might be close pals, the same can't be said for this season's runner-up and Clay Aiken.

Days after Aiken bashed Lambert's rendition of "Ring of Fire" (and then quasi-apologized for his remarks), the flamboyant finalist has fired back.

"I don't know Clay," Adam told Access Hollywood this week. "I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

Snaps. Yo.

Lambert wasn't done. He added:

"If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him."

Is Adam Lambert remaining coy about his sexual orientation because he believes it's nobody's business? Or because it's a way to milk publicity for as long he keeps people wondering about it?

We hope it's the former, but it's hard not to consider the latter, based on the latest interview given by this season's American Idol runner-up.

Via People magazine, Lambert told those curious about whether or not he's gay to "calm down," yet he also encouraged them to "keep speculating."

Flamboyant Finalist

Lambert added:

"It's a really, really cool thing to be able to show people that you can be yourself, and you should be proud of yourself, and you should own who you are and what you're about, and never make apologies for it."

We couldn't agree more.

However, by never directly addressing his sexual orientation, Lambert runs the risk of not fully abiding by his own words. If you're gay, Adam, be proud, own it and certainly don't apologize for it.

Do you think Adam Lambert should admit that he's gay?

Adam Lambert performed on CBS' Early Show this week. Now that Lambert has finished with American Idol, he's busy making press rounds and performing across the country.

Lambert's fans came out in full force to watch him sing his hit "Mad World," and they seemed to fall madly in love with his performance. No shock there!

As always, Adam Lambert rocked.

Will Adam Lambert actually join the classic rock band Queen?

That debate will need to be put on hold for a couple months, as the runner-up and his fellow American Idol finalists get set to embark on a nationwide tour this summer.

For now, fans wanna know what sort of album Lambert will eventually come out with.

“Labels tend to try to put one box around every artist and keep them in one genre, but I think [my album] can be a collection of different styles,” Lambert told reporters. “I don’t want to do one specific genre. I’m more about fusion. There are a lot of pop artists that are using the ‘glam’ kind of vibe in their music currently so I think I’m actually part of a wave. There just happens to not be many guys doing it right now.”

Friends and Rivals

As for Kris Allen:

“‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ - that’s the kind of stuff I want to do, stuff that has that feel, that kind of moves people," he said. “I’m not a man of many words. I’m not very expressive or emotional but it comes out in my music. It’s the way I express how I feel.”

Will you buy either of these albums? Both? Neither?

On the season finale of American Idol, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen teamed up for a memorable rendition of "We are the Champions."

Might this duet have been a preview of things to come for the popular runner-up?

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Queen guitarist Brian May sounded open to the possibility of Lambert actually joining the classic rock band.

"Amongst all that furor, there wasn't really a quiet moment to talk. But [drummer Roger Taylor] and I are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with him at some point. It's not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn't that easy. But I'd certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there."

Before any decision can be made on Lambert's future, he must first complete this summer's 50-city tour with his fellow Top 10 finalists.

But, when that is over, do you think he should join Queen?

Kris Allen may be a nice guy and a talented singer, but a handful of celebrities were clearly cheering on his American Idol competition.

From the rational to the oddly familial, here's how a few stars reacted to Adam Lambert's surprising loss last week.

Ugly model Adrianne Curry blamed the gay haters:
