Adam Lambert Wants to Fall in Love, Work with Rihanna
As he tours Europe, promotes his debut album and entertains fans at night clubs, Adam Lambert is also taking time to answer questions from reporters.
In a recent interview, for example, the singer touched on taking over Simon Cowell, working with recording legends and falling in love. A few excerpts...
On judging American Idol: "I keep hearing the rumor. Unfortunately, it's just a rumor. I would be honored to be asked - but I think at this point I'm just focusing on my career as a recording artist."
On dream duets: "To be able to work with David Bowie would be amazing, his imagination and creativity are beyond - he's an icon.
"I'd also like to sing with Christina Aguilera - I love her voice, I've been a fan since she came out and I think we would throw down and we would be loud.
"I would love to work with Rihanna - she is so down to earth and sweet and kind and friendly. Her tunes are so catchy and visually she is just giving you beauty."
On his biggest fear: "I have a fear of being alone - not being alone by myself, but I want to fall in love, and grow old with somebody and I just sometimes get scared that it's not going to happen."
Just keep being yourself, Adam. Trust us. It will happen.
Adam Lambert Goes G-A-Y
This just in: Adam Lambert has gone G-A-Y!
No, the singer hasn't somehow come out of the closet again.
Instead, he took the stage on Saturday night at London's G-A-Y night club, as Adam is spending a few weeks in Europe promoting his debut CD before returning to the States and going on tour.

With a packed, screaming house cheering him on, Lambert performed a six-song set at the establishment. He sung hits such as “Fever, "Strut,” “Whataya Want From Me," and For Your Entertainment."
Prior to the concert, he Tweeted: “London is so beautiful today!!! The sun is shining and I’m looking forward to my show tonight!!!”
The former American Idol runner-up didn't disappoint. A fan captured one of his renditions on iPhone and you can view that snippet below. You can also view a handful of performances in our Adam Lambert video section. Visit it now!
Watch Adam Lambert Perform "Music Again"
Adam Lambert did not bring any lasers to the 2010 GLAAD Media Awards on April 17.
But the singer did bring his typical energy, talent and overall entertaining self to the event. He performed a rendition of "Music Again" that you can enjoy below:
The single is courtesy of the star's debut album, "For Your Entertainment." So is "Fever," which Adam also rocked out to at the event.
Adam Lambert Tour Dates: Announced!
You didn't think it could get any more exciting, did you, Adam Lambert fans?
The singer is headlining his first tour this summer and supporters are understandably psyched... but they're about to shatter glass with screams that result from the following news:
Fellow American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta, along with Orianthi, will open for Adam along every stop of this tour. Commence celebratory chest bumps and fist pounds, people!
Lambert will be promoting his album in Europe over the next few days and will then return to the States to start preparations for his concerts.
The Glam Nation tour launches in June and the crooner told E! News recently: "It's going to be really theatrical and sparkly. You'll have to come. Maybe I'll make out with a snake."
Where and when can you see this take place? Dates and locations - along with a live performance of Adam performing "Fever" at the April 17 GLAAD Media Awards - are below.
Adam Lambert: GLAAD To Be Here!
Looking forward to the GLAAD awards tonight! I may just have to swish it up a bit.

Did the singer successfully "swish it up" at this event last night? Check out the photos below and you tell us, fans.
Lambert was the main attraction on the red carpet of the awards, and later on stage, where he rocked out with renditions of "Fever" and "Music Again." We can't find a video of the performances, so please send them in if you've come across any!

Adam Lambert Brings Lasers to American Idol Results Show
Andrew Garcia and Katie Stevens were both eliminated from American Idol last night.
This wasn't a shocking result, but it was a sad one, as both contestants shed tears during the episode-concluding montage of their time on the show. We wish Andrew and Katie the best of luck.
On a more positive note, Adam Lambert performed his latest single ("Whataya Want From Me") about 45 minutes into the hour.
Donning a colorful suit, skinny tie and, of course, a bit of guy-liner, last year's runner-up put on an emotional rendition of the single - and used lasers on stage.
"I wanted to do something a little different," Adam said to Ryan Seacrest afterwards, later giving thanks to the show: "I owe American Idol everything."
Humble and incredibly talented? That's the Adam Lambert we know and love...
Adam Lambert to American Idol Producer: No Struggles Here!
Awhile back, we got into a tiff with Adam Lambert fans because we told them to "chill out."
We argued that their over-the-top support of this singer, their rush to defend him at all times, was condescending and sometimes unnecessary. Adam is a big boy, we reasoned, he can take care of himself when the time calls for it.
Very recent case in point: after American Idol producer Ken Warwick said he hopes Lambert's appearance on the show this week helps the singer's "struggling" career, Adam replied on his own.
While acknowledging how "sweet" this sentiment is, Adam told Entertainment Weekly: “I don’t feel like I’m struggling at all. I think things are right where they need to be. My single ‘What Do You Want From Me,’ is just breaking into the Top 10 right now.”
It's true. The song, which Adam will perform live tonight on Idol, is currently at number-13 on Billboard’s Pop chart, and number-23 on the Billboard Hot 100.
What did Adam think of his experience as a mentor?
“I’m really glad that they had me on the show,” he said. “I really enjoyed helping the other contestants... It was a trip being out there. My mom was sitting next to me tonight, and she was like, ‘This is what it used to be like for us! We used to sit here and we got so nervous and we’d be chewing our gum really hard and we’d be going Oh god, I hope he does a good job!‘”
Below, watch a clip of Lambert giving advice to Lee DeWyze... who proceeded to perform what many considered to be the top rendition of the night.
American Idol Producer: Adam Lambert Should Be a Major Star!
With the talent level low and the contestants so similar, this season of American Idol has been considered a bore by most viewers. Ratings certainly reflect a drop in interest.
For that reason, producers are praying Adam Lambert will deliver a much-needed dose of excitement tonight, as he plays mentor to the remaining finalists.
But Ken Warwick tells Entertainment Weekly that he's also counting on the reverse coming true: he hopes the Lambert's appearance on the show will resurrect this singer's sidetracked career.
"The guy is an incredible talent, and he had an incredible following. And it kind of upsets me that at the moment he’s not doing quite as well," the executive producer said. "I don’t know what possessed him to do what he did at the AMAs, but he’s still struggling to live it down.
"Hopefully... we can start putting him back firmly where he belongs, as a major star. Because the guy is an incredible talent. He genuinely is. And it kind of breaks my heart to see someone with that much talent struggle a bit. So hopefully we can do back for him as he can do for us."
Adam Lambert returns to the stage that made him famous this week.
Aside from mentoring tonight, Lambert will return to the American Idol stage tomorrow.
From there, it's off to the GLAAD awards Saturday evening for another performance. Wrote Adam, regarding the event:
"GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards this year. GLAAD's work to share stories that grow acceptance and understanding about the gay and transgender community is so important in our culture today."
Will tune in to watch Lambert on Idol this week?

Confirmed: Adam Lambert as American Idol Mentor
In late February, it was reported that Adam Lambert would perform on American Idol.
Now, we can confirm that the former runner-up won't just sing "Whattaya Want From Me” on the April 14 results-show telecast - he'll serve as a mentor to the finalists on the night before!
No word yet on what theme the contestants will tackle during the special visit, but this much is certain: if anyone can spice up this lackluster group of singers, it's Adam Lambert.
Lambert will be the first former Idol to act as a mentor less than a year after he left the show.
Many will believe he's too inexperienced for the gig... but Miley Cyrus took on the same role a couple weeks ago and she's younger than every current contestant except Katie Stevens and Aaron Kelly.
Do you think he should be a mentor?
