Adam Lambert has a vocal range which is awesome! I never previously watched American Idol but discovered this very talented guy while flipping from one channel to the other several weeks ago and I absolutely love to hear him sing. I am 60 years old and I think this guy is one of the most talented singers I have ever heard, and I don't have that many favorite male singers. I hope he wins American Idol. I was blown away when I heard him sing "Is Anybody Listening?" from the musical "Ten Commandments."

Adam Lambert is the best singer of American Idol ..he has everything,,,talented,good perfomance,a big star,super nice voice,he is charismatic,nice looking guy,intelligent,perfect!!!we never boring his voice,,actions..he must wins and he can wins too,,,we wish he wins this season of American idol..we wait of his cd,concert,DVD...success Adam Lambert..you are the beste ever and forever.Do not forget it!!!..we are very proud of you.Gambatte Kudasai.

Adam Lambert is absolutely perfecte super star singer. His voice is absolutely amazing!!! When he sings ,he always use his feeling,tender,& can rocks so hard,Charismatic,sensual,gentleman,his eyes should hypnotische every people.Nobody else can compare with his action,his brilliant voice,..there are no one can follow it.we are very exciting when we listen he sings,he must very proud of his talent&everything about his talented,and we know he can wins on American Idol.He is really the beste singer.He is one of the most talented singers we have ever heard.we love him and wish he wins American Idol also success with his concert and cd..Success Adam Lambert....greetings from Europe

I don't understand what people see in Adam. Yes, he has a great voice, but the guy is a complete freak. Every time I look at him I feel like his head is going to spin around. It is obvious that this guy has some type of demonic possession, or is at least playing with the dark side. He is the type of contestant that I could see having several hit songs, and then "smoking" all of his money away. (not that I hope this happens. I don't want to see anyone involved with drugs) What he did to the song "Ring of Fire" was scary. Not only because of the horrible/scary rendition, but also because he obviously knows nothing about the origin of the song. Personally, it is scary to see a man dress demonic, and then dance in front of FIRE. And his rendition sounded like demons scratching their fingernails on a chalkboard. On top of this, you ladies that think he is sexy are in for a real treat. The guy is GAY, and any guy out there can assure you of this. It is a guy thing, and guys can just see it. Not that I care, but still. Why would a lady melt over a man that isn't interested in her sex???
Go Danny!!! You are 10 times the singer of Adam.

One other thing I forgot to add. Here's my prediction:
If Adam wins, he will have a few hits, and then have the same success that Fantasia, David Cook, Reuben, and Taylor have had.
If Danny wins, he will have a similar career to Carrie and Kelly.
Why?? Because he doesn't fit into just one category. Rockers and some Top 40 listeners will buy David Cook's music, but country and adult contemporary listeners will not. R&B listeners have bought Reuben and Fantasia's music, but no one else has. Taylor sells out in New Orleans all the time, but how many hits has he had???
Why do Carrie and Kelly have success? Because they sing music that can be aired on Top 40, adult contemporary, Country, and Carrie has even had a song or two air on Christian radio stations. Carrie is so popular because her music spans genres and generations. How many times have you heard a grandmother and her little granddaughter like the same song? This happens with Carrie. More genres means more CD sales which means more money which means more success!!
If Adam wins and sings the way he is singing right now (and dresses the same), he will have 1 maybe 2 hit songs on the Top 40 and Rock charts, and then the general public will be tired of him. Just like Reuben, Fantasia, and Taylor. If Adam is smart, he will tone down his look. He doesn't need to be like the "Elvis" look-a-like, but somewhere in-between will win him the prize.

I've said since Adam's first appearance on Idol that he's a modern-day Elvis. I hear that TV Guide now says the same. Not so much that Adam looks like Elvis, but that he embodies Elvis. In some glances, it's as if Elvis is looking out thru Adam's eyes. I don't necessarily want to see Adam imitate Elvis, but I would like to hear his very own special rendition of an Elvis song-but not quite as "special" as Ring of Fire. What a talent!

So we have a Danny fan feeling compelled to come here to the "Adam Lambert" comments page and talk rubbish about him...mmmm, let me see, could it be sour grapes, as someone else has pointed out already?
Did you actually read what you wrote here? It just sounds ridiculous and even make Danny look bad. He doesn't need this from his fans.
Adams fans don't need to trash any of the other contestants, but it seems you do....ah, and last but not least, we don't care -as you do- what Adam does in his private life. He can choose whatever he wants to be, his talent won't change because of that.
And so that you understand how far he's made it already, I'm writing from Europe, as many other people I've seen in other forums.
You can stay a Danny fan. Adam doesn't need narrow-minded people's support.
RING OF FIRE blew me away! Simply amazing! As Adam! :-)

Here's the thing. I'm really not a huge Danny fan. I like Matt better. But, I realize that Matt will never make it like Danny will. America has made the right selection for American Idol twice. Carrie and Kelly. They were wrong with several others. Here is my point:
1)Reuben won, but Clay has had more hit songs.
2)Taylor won, but Daughtry has more hit songs.
3)David Cook won, but David A. already has more hits.
Sometimes America (and obviously other countries) make the wrong decision with this show. Chris Daughtry was 10 times the singer of Taylor, but Taylor was clean-cut and different. Daughtry came out, wore black make-up under his eyes, and America voted him out.
I want the winner of AI to be someone that will make it. Not just someone that "looks good" or "sings good". I want someone that has the whole package, and that has a voice/style that caters to more than one genre and generation. Adam Lambert caters "primarily" to rockers, and women 18 - 35.
Danny on the other hand has to look, the voice, and the style that will be more accepted from women 18 - 35, women 35 - 50, and women over 50. He also will be accepted by most men 18 - 35 as well. He can sing Top 40, Adult Contemporary, and because of his background, may even have a few Contemporary Christian hits. (which by the way is the #4 radio genre in the US) Personally, I would like to see Matt win. But as far as a person who will still be a household name in 3 years, Danny has to be the correct choice.
BTW, anyone who enjoyed Adam's rendition of "Ring of Fire" doesn't know the story behind the song, and has no respect for Country music. Maybe that's why you like the guy, but he made a HUGE mistake with that song. WHY you ask?? Because he hacked off a large population of Southern viewers. Ask Al Gore, John Kerry, or John McCain. If you want to win in America you have to carry the South. FYI, the south will never vote for a guy that wears makeup, and butchers a song written by one of their most beloved stars: Johnny Cash.
You people know nothing about marketing do you?? lol

Hello what planet are you living in?? You don't think girls can spot gay guys? Certainly, I know that he is gay! SO?? It is not like he has asked me to marry him. I do not give a damn whether he is gay or not, he is still the sexiest man ever on Idol! He is smoking hot. I think it just bothers the straight guys that a gay guy can be so much hotter than them... Go Adam, you are simply the best that there ever has been on Idol or anywhere else!

It was his interpretation of the SONG, it is not like he went and killed Johnny Cash. Don't take everything so seriously. Personally, I think he sounded amazing and I really liked the spooky performance too. It's entertainment, egt with the program people!

WOW!!!!!!! tonights performance was awesome. He is so freakin' talented. This is the first I have ever wanted to tune in each week to American Idol. I want to see what Adam is gonna bring to the stage each week. I can't wait to see what he does next week. Great Job Adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in Europe but I was just able to catch Adam on youtube. He was fantastic once again. Although, I hope he will return to the ballads once again at some point, because he was just so unbelievably perfect last week with Tracks of My Tears.
And that smile of his - he just is so freakin' sexy that I can't stand it! If there is an Adam Lambert Syndrome speading in the US, it sure has spread quickly to Europe also... Give me more of Adam, this is an order!

Hi Adam,
I have to be honest...for the first couple of weeks, I wasn't overly impressed with you. I guess all I 'saw' was the 'punk rocker' and that isn't my thing. I was more caught up on Matt or Danny. Then I began watching closer and LISTENING...DAMN you're good!!! Something tells me tho, that I'm not the only person you've ever heard that from! I've seen your 'friends and family' each week and I have to say that they are a good looking bunch of people. Your Spouse, whether it be female or male, is lucky to have you/your voice available to sing to them every day. I have a feeling that it is the latter sex, but that is YOUR BUSINESS and nobody elses (except maybe your spouse). I apologize if I am wrong and offensive.
Either way, I wish I could be at the Kodak Theatre to root you on, but my telephone votes will have to do. You see, while I just live 'down the road' in Long Beach, my job,
is 24/7, as a Care Giver/Companion to a 90 year old woman. To bring her along with me would be worse than just watching AI on television. Even with her hearing aids turned up all the way, she is still about 97% deaf! Between that, and the fact that IF she gets bored, she goes to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes or so...At least, at home, she can go by herself and I don't miss the show.
Anyway, Adam, I am confident I will be watching you in the finals and will watch you 'being crowned' the next American Idol, so please allow me to be your first 'family member' to congratulate you! :)
