From what I can tell from the fansites, Gokey fans aren't just "moms" (though, I don't know what one means by that...because there are a lot of young people who are moms AND rockers). I see a lot of fans who are both Gokey fans and Lambert fans. So I think some may be misguided if they believe that one being better than the other necessarily means people are only rooting for one person. I'm a rocker fan AND a mom AND like Gokey AND Lambert. I'll worry about which one I'm going to pick when they get in the top 5.

And alright, already. I'm already hearing this GAY nonsense. Why is it whenever A guy is really good, people have to start making up controversies. I don't need to rehash what's happening to Danny, because I think everyone knows. But I will quickly come to Lambert's defense on this one, too. He definitely has that handsome, brooding, Goth look--(and did I already say he's hot), look. So girls are really going to like him, as does myself. You can always tell when a contestant is going to get a lot of attention because all the douchebag haters latch on to these people almost as quickly as the true fans. Let's concentrate on the singing please??? This boy has some mean chops. I'd like to see Danny and Lambert go against each other, because that would be one wicked-a$$ show.

The producers sure seem to trying to polarize the audience. On one side you've got an average looking but yet very charismatic professional gospel singer (Gokey) and on the other you've got a handsome, talented, and possibly gay theatre performer (Lambert). I wonder how long it will take reporters to run with it.

I just want to say that he is going to be the next 'American Idol'. None of the other talents even come close. His voice is unreal. So, if I had to put all my money on the fact that he would win - I would do it in a heartbeat!

NO ADAM DOES NOT LOOK OR SING LIKE DAVID COOK. Are you kidding me? He is only 100 times better - no slight to David, but this man has a carisma and raw emotion that is a one in a million. And, lets face it, he is beyond sexy. Best wishes Adam because you don't need luck. xox

He is one of the most amzing singers ive ever heard. He is just brilliant and the absolutley positivlely most gorgeous thing ive ever seen in my life. WOW. Doesnt he remind u of Mick Jagger and Elvis Presly??? His lip twitches like Elvis(watch the performance from idol 4 ur self) he does it perfectly!! He has the moves of Mick. Omg he is just amazing uhhh. I cannot stop hyperventilating. When he was doing satisfaction at the beggining i almost fainted im not even joking omg it was the sexiest thing of my life. I cant get over it. UGGGGGGGGHHHH. Why o why is he so perfect?? If hes gay im ganna kill myself and scream until my lungs pop. Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please dont be gay!!!!!!! He is so perfect he even likes Twilight. My mom and i watch him and squeek all the way threw. Adam has mad vocals. Watching him, I now get why I never like David Cook. Whereas Cook was a poser, Adam is the real deal. I think Adam is everything that Cook wanted (and tried)to be all last season.
Plus, Adam is majorly hot.

Hey, I'm 44 and I think Adam is hot and the most talented person on the show. As a mom with kids in High School, yeah lots of goth guys wear eyeliner. It doesn't bother me and it doesn't bother my daughters. I mean Johnny Depp did it, and he also wore makeup in Sweeny Todd. Most of the band posters in my daughters room, have the guys wearing eyeliner! Who cares! I think it's hot, and it doesn't make Adam gay! My gosh people, GREEN DAY, SIMPLE PLAN, GOOD CHARLOTTE, FALL OUT BOY, THEY WEAR EYELINER! Does that make them gay?? It's just the 'in' look. And if he is gay, SO WHAT!

he is very talented, and has an amazing range and amazing stage presence.
Commenting on his looks: he is so fregging adorable! The eye liner works on him, but it may be too much at times. He has an amazing jawline and amazing facial features in general.
Commenting on his "gayness": I personally, as a gay boy, think he is gay... but if he's not... he still gets my vote... if he is.. then... lol he gets my phone number :D

Adam is the greatest talent to ever step foot on the idol stage!!!! I loved him before I heard him sing. He's got goregous deep blue eyes, I love that he's in theater, and the eyeliner makes me love him even more. Yes it's true that I'm a seventeen year old girl with raging hormones and they are all directed at Adam, but even if I was blind, I'd love him solely for his AMAZING vocals. He hits notes I could never dream of hitting and he does it with such strength and passion.
I saw the gay headline and decided to check it out for myself. There are pictures floating around of him kissing guys. Some look photo-shopped but others are pretty convincing. If he is gay, it would make me a little sad for a second just because it would mean that I have even less of a chance with him than I would if he were straight. His orientation is ultimately none of my business. If he is openly gay then all the better for him. He still has wonderful talent and he is still so HOTT!!! I only hope that the whole gay thing won't interfere with the votes he gets.
