I have watched American Idol since the first season and I would like to say that I am very disappointed at the conclusion of this season with Allen as the winner.Yes, Allen is friendly and cute and somewhat talented but definitely the winner of this season should have been Adam Lambert. Lambert can sing anything and exudes charm and personality. Allen has trouble hitting high notes and lacks carisma. Now the Idol Judges are saying that they are happy with the winner but all through this season you could see that they really believed that lambert had the most talent. If Lambert and Allen afre made to sing the same song, clearly you can see that Lambert just overwhelms Allen. Lambert is the real Idol winner and he deserves the title. Lambert has been cheated and he has worked hard to please the Idol watchers. I am so ashamed that people voted for Allen since this is a singing competition and not a competition of who can play a guitar or who people feel sorry for. Lambert can outsing Alle

Im from New Zealand and it is sad that Adam didn't win the American Idol. He didn't really need to go on there in the first place but hey, he got a car out of it so that's cool. Kis winning could be because Adam is able to make it so why not give Kris a chance? Or may be it's because Adama is more experienced so why not let Kris take the Idol? If Adam did loose based on his sexuality then American Idol is not really based on talent at all because to me, it's just another "Beauty Pageant".
Who can sing? Oh by the way you have to be straight. Was that really in the contract?
Why stop someone from being who they are when what they do is nothing to do with the world where all Adam wants is to entertain. And about the other guys that journyed with Adam? I mean Adam got to meet "Jamie Fox" who also gave him props for being so talented. Adam is with people meeting real people, making knew friends and getting to do great things. Being a Adam hater just because he's gay wont get you far

I live in Canada and have been around the music business here since the 70'S there I go aging myself. Yes I am 53 and had many Canauk and US freinds in the field of Rock. Loverboy-Mike Renowski (RENO) Toronto-Holly Woods who has a 4.5 Octave range just to name a couple but Adam only being 27 with a voice like his should go further than any of them. May hopefully end up like our Bryan Adams as long as he has the writting ability. Even my 76 year old mother, I got her hooked on Adam, he stood out right from his first audition I picked him as most talented. I think real musicians will relate to the fact he should have won, but on the bright side of things I dont think he will be as tied up with commitments to Idol and can progress away from the Idol thing quicker then the winner. Love you Adam and keep Rock Alive.

For a singer, well, Adam is a nightingale who trill his love and soul in our heart; is a real joy to listening to his amazing voice; I did not hear such vocal range since Yma Sumac.

I think Adam was robbed of the title because he is just an amazing artist. There is nothing he couldnt sing, as Randy Said "Dude you could sing the telephone book". Queen couldnt find anyone better to front them. I hope that this is not the end of us seeing Adam performing. I know i for one would pay to see Adam in concert and if he ever decides to do this i hope he comes to Ireland because he has a lot of fans here. There is just something about him as they say he has the X factor. Just an amazing guy, gracious when he lost and i am sure he is going to have a brilliant career whatever he does.

seriously the internet is so fuggin bogus man. the only reason kris won was bcuz hes a freakin country boy and Adam is already like famous bcuz hes on broadway and Adam will come out with albums the kris couldnt even dream of making. {one mo thing, is it just me or isnt 'kris' the girlie way of spelling it?}

forgot to mention we are from Hong Kong and we have the program on the next evening, but I ask my US family to let me know who won when they are watching the finale. hope one day Adam would do world tour, so we got to see his singing and performance... Adam Rocks. You have an international fan base.

Adam is so attractive that he has got looks of fusion of yesterday glamor star and amazing modern talent. He would be an icon, keep being an artist and good human being
I'm off to bed, but before I go, I have to say that I absolutely loved Adam's version of Beth - absolutely amazing! And what a tribute to him that both Kiss and Queen rocked with him! Bet that won't happen again! On a lighter side, there's a lovely utube video of him talking about the finale, and about Kris, when Kris appears suddenly and gives him a huge hug - it's very cute! Just utube Adam getting hug from Kris :)
I have been an Adam fan since I saw his audition. I thought his voice was amazing then, but what grabbed me at that stage was his incredible politeness in listening to the judges cringe-making comments about being theatrical etc at that time. My hat went off to him then and it is still off - in the dustbin in fact. Adam has a huge future ahead of him. I really wanted him to win the crown because to me that would show that America didn’t care whether or not one was gay or straight. But alas, America is not yet ready for that next step. So I feel sad, not because Adam didn’t get the title, but because parts of America are so deeply rooted, still, in homophobia. Adam, on a professional level, is better off for not having won the title. Kris needed it much more than him. I shall miss seein Adam grace our television screen each Friday and Saturday night here in EnZed - every week I looked fwd to what he was going to do. Love ALL his interpretations, but

America seems to be intolerant, still, I´m afraid. I live in Finland and Adam`s talent has blown us away. I couldnt believe my eyes, when saw that Kris had won. But it had probably something to do with the fact, that the third contestant (Gokey, great voice too by the way) had very religion-like backround and he`s voters must have voted Kris instead of interesting Adam. BUT: Adam will make his way to the top anyway, that?s for sure. We are here collecting an address to get him to perform in Finland too. :)
