Maleficent may have marked the biggest opening of Angelina Jolie's career.

But we're already over it.

Sure, the actress is tremendous as this Sleeping Beauty-based villain, but she's nothing compared to 50 Cent taking on the same role.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, the rapper teased a new project that “ain’t going to no Redbox.”

He and the host then introduced a trailer for MaleFiftyCent, which features Fiddy taunting Elle Fanning’s Aurora with lines such as "I’ve been shot 9 times, I’m not afraid of no white girl."

Hey, whatever distracts from that 50 Cent first pitch fail, right?

Looking for more Jimmy Kimmel Live hilarity? Have no fear.

50 Cent's first pitch fail at a recent New York Mets game was pretty embarrassing for the rapper. Bot not nearly as embarrassing as his explanation for why he botched the throw.

The topic of Fiddy's now legendary super wild pitch naturally came up during a Reddit AMA he conducted last night and Mr. Cent provided a joking (we hope) justification for why he couldn't put the ball in the same area code as home plate.

"I have a skeletal muscle injury on my left shoulder from excessive masturbation so take it easy lol," 50 responded to the inevitable question on what the hell happened that fateful day.

It's certainly a more colorful response than 50's original claim that the pitch "slipped," and we appreciate his attempt at humor, but 50 shouldn't have been surprised when the rest of the Q & A session was littered with "Curtis Jacks-on" jokes.

50 Cent, continuing to speak out on the Jay Z-Solange fight for some reason, doesn't think that Jay Z could have handled it in any other way.

"He did the right thing," the rapper said about his fellow hip-hop artist.

"We'll make fun of it because it's an opportunity to make fun. At the end of the day, the nightmare would've been him responding in any other way."

He makes a fair point ... not that it's at all clear why he's making it.

Musing on how he would have reacted, Mr. Cent hedged.

50 added, "Would you be wrong for defending yourself? In that place, just instinctively, if he had defended himself, would he have been wrong?"

Happily, the tension between Jay Z, wife Beyonce and Solange seems to have abated, but 50 Cent has his ideas about what triggered the incident.

To hear 50 tell it, Solange was defending Bey.

Earlier this week, 50 Cent threw out the worst first pitch in Major League Baseball history.

This is a photogenic fact.

Asked to explain what the HECK happened during an appearance on Good Morning America today, the rapper swore such an incomprehensibly poor toss was not a publicity stunt.

"It slipped! It slipped out of my hand," the 38-year-old said. "I’m not a professional pitcher, I make music."

Fiddy said the pitch has became so notorious so quickly that the police even pulled him over just to talk about it.

Many things in life may be subjective.

Is the Kim Kardashian sex tape better than the Kendra Wilkinson sex tape? Was Tupac a better rapper than Biggie? Should Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik apologize for smoking pot and insulting African-Americans?

We could debate those topics forever.

But, thanks to the magic of the Internet, we now have conclusive evidence about another pressing pop culture issue: the infamous 50 Cent first pitch tossed by the rapper prior to a Mets game this week.

As you can see, it was rather abysmal:

But was it the worst ceremonial first pitch ever thrown by a celebrity?

You've all heard about it by now - and hopefully seen it online.

Prior to a New York Mets game at Citi Field this week, 50 Cent threw out a first pitch that was more than just a bit outside... it was barely in the stadium!

Granted, the rapper has been shot nine times throughout his life. But did every bullet get implanted in his arm? Come on, Curtis Jackson. How did this ever happen?!?

The real question, of course, is whether Fiddy's fail was the worst ceremonial first pitch in Major League Baseball history.

As you can see below, the artist does have some serious competition.

50 Cent First Pitch Fail
This may be the worst ceremonial first pitch in baseball history. Thank you for the laugh, 50 Cent!

Is 50 Cent the worst of the worst? You tell us:

The following video is more painful to watch than getting shot nine times.

On hand to promote an upcoming concert at Citi Field, 50 Cent threw out the ceremonial first pitch at last night's New York Mets-Pittsburgh Pirates games.

And, to quote a certain pretend baseball announcer, the attempt was juuuust a bit outside.

Watch the disastrous effort now:

Perhaps Fiddy was out partying too hard in da club the night before.

What's in a name? As it turns out, maybe everything.

Since Shakespeare first posited the question in Romeo and Juliet, actors have been using fake names to land professional roles. Not only did it allow them some semblance of privacy before the dawn of Wikipedia, but let's face it, some people just aren't born with great names.

Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor? Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta? Quite a mouthful.

If an actor or musician's entire career is dedicated to being someone else - a character or personality, perhaps - then a good stage name can go a long way to making that career explode.

More celebrities use pseudonyms than you might think. In fact, here are 67 stars who don't use their real names. Which ones did you know before viewing this gallery?

Lorde
Musical sensation Lorde was given the name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor at birth. We'd probably go with Lorde, too.

The bizarre feud between 50 Cent and his son Marquise dates back to last year when Father of the Century candidate Fiddy unleashed a profane tirade against his then 16-year-old son.

50 continued his streak of top-notch parenting this week by skipping his son's high school graduation, presumably to count his bullet wounds and reminisce about the days when he was relevant in the rap world.

Fortunately, Marquise took notice of his dad's absence and called him out on Facebook:

"Yea, I broke down," Marquise wrote after the ceremony. "I was really excited to see my pops at my graduation today but he never showed up. My sister and mama is always there for me just know that you wasn't. I did it without you!"

Understandably not pleased with being publicly called out as a terrible parent 50 immediately responded to his son's emotional post.

There's been a lot of speculation over what caused the Solange Knowles-Jay Z fight that captured the world's attention yesterday.

But while the rest of us were busy trying to figure out what sparked the conflict, 50 Cent was recording hilarious fight night commentary over the now-infamous footage.

Sadly, Fiddy only gives us a few seconds of his ghetto boxing commentator routine, but in this case, a few seconds is all we need.

"I will f--k you up, Jay!" says 50, assuming the role of Solange. "F--k your Marcy s--t! This is Houston!"

While 50 clearly recorded the commentary for laughs, it's hard to imagine he didn't get a kick out of watching his former rap rival get assaulted by his sister-in-law.
