Yes, American Idol crowned a Season 14 champion on Wednesday, May 13.
Congratulations are very much in order for Nick Fradiani .
But two-hour finale did a lot more than that: it brought back some previous judges (hello, Steven Tyler!) and some very big names for a slew of outstanding performances.
Even the Season 14 contestants who were NOT showered with confetti to close the episode were still able to get up on stage with their idols and create memories that will last a lifetime.
