Dancing with the Stars Summary: A Remarkable Rumba

Did fans witness the greatest Rumba in Dancing with the Stars history last night?

Visit TV Fanatic for a complete rundown of last night's DWTS routines. You can pretty much skip over the performance of Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova, however. It was uglier than Amy Winehouse.

Dancing with the Stars Gives the Boot to Kathy Ireland

In the 1991 comedy, Necessary Roughness, Kathy Ireland portrayed a college football team's kicker.

Last night on Dancing with the Stars, however, it was this former model that got the boot.

Following a paltry 18 point-performance on Monday evening, Ireland was eliminated from the show's ninth season. But she took the news well, saying afterward:

"There is so much to take away from this experience. I wouldn't change a moment of it, [including] the fact that I got to learn how to dance from world champion Tony Dovolani."

Tom DeLay managed to survive yet another week on the show, generating rumors that the disgraced former Congressman is rigging the votes somehow.

Joss Stone, Selena Gomez and even the USC Marching Band all performed on this week's results show.

Dancing with the Stars Recap: Tom DeLay Gets Hammered

The hammer might finally come down on Tom DeLay this week, as the disgraced politician earned the lowest score last night on Dancing with the Stars.

So far, the Joe Namath of Dancing with the Stars is looking solid. Below, we recap the evening's scores...

Dancing with the Stars Eliminates Two Celebs, Pays Tribute to Patrick Swayze

On the first elimination show of season nine, Dancing with the Stars paid tribute to Patrick Swayze.

The actor, who passed away last week, appeared as a mentor on the competition's first season.

One of his most-remembered roles was as dance instructor Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing, a movie the ABC series honored with a few classic routines last night. No one puts Cheryl Burke in a corner...

As for the actual results, Macy Gray and Ashley Hamilton were sent home, providing viewers with another hilarious week to watch Tom DeLay acting more flamboyant than Adam Lambert.

We can't wait.

Dancing with the Stars Plans Tribute to Patrick Swayze

As the man who refused to put Baby in a corner, Patrick Swayze appeared on the first season of Dancing with the Stars.

He appeared for an episode in order to assist friend and fellow actor John O'Hurley learn a few moves.

With that connection in mind, the show is planning a live tribute to the late actor - who passed away this week from pancreatic cancer - during its results show on September 23.

“He was one of the few people to integrate dance with being an A-list actor,” said producer Conrad Green. “He inspired many people and many of our pros to dance. We want to honor the great moments he’s brought to film by getting our dancers to do their interpretation to some music from his films.”

Two of those dancers, of course, are Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The engaged couple broke up this month, but will both appear on season nine of the competition.

Watch the former practice with Aaron Carter, and the latter get really frustrated with Debi Mazar, after the jump.

Joanna Krupa: Psyched to be a "Sexpot"

If you've posed naked for pretty much any magazine, there's a spot for you on Dancing with the Stars.

D-list celebrities that have proven this theory include Lisa Rinna, Belinda Carlisle and Denise Richards.

Not to be outdone by past seasons, of course, the latest Dancing with the Stars cast includes Joanna Krupa, a model that has bared almost all for Sports Illustrated and Maxim.

Half Naked Joanna Krupa

Based on a recent interview with E! News, it's clear this beauty has no qualms about using every toned and perky asset at her disposal in order to advance far on the competition. Here's what she had to say:

On potential costumes: My job is so sexy. I've been known to do swimsuit lingerie and sexy spreads in magazines. I want to keep that going, so we'll see how skimpy the costumes will get. It will definitely be classy and flashy and hot. It won't be anything cheesy.

On using her looks: Hey, whatever gets me to the finals. I'm really going to work hard at it. I mean, yeah, obviously I want to be the sexpot on the show like Gilles [Marini] was.

Joanna should have little problems accomplishing that goal. Just click on the photos below to see her history of posing like a sexpot:
