Alexandrea: Nice job singing on the American Idol Stage.
I'm looking forward to following you as you mature and grow that awesome singing voice you have. I see you as a special talent. You bring something only you have. I hated to see you get voted off. I was looking forward to seeing how you would evolve after some more performances. I can hear that you're about the music as well as singing. I'm 43 years old so I just wanted to give you a little bit of advise. You can be unique in your music, but you have to look at your audience you're singing to. You have to think about the people voting for you, what music is popular to the majority of them. When you sing a popular song, pick one that is a known song. Chicago's song, If you Leave me Now, wasn't that kind of song. Although I was familiar with it because of my age, I don't think the audience of American Idol was. You got to bring it everytime. After your famous and you win, then you can do music how and what you want.
People will be familiar with you and they'll buy your records because they want to hear you sing. Until then, you have to sing what the people want to hear. I think if they're going to pick 16 year olds to sing and expect them to perform and act like adults, then they need to be helping you students out with proper attitude and how to correspond with the judges better. If they want you to just stand there and take all their opinions, then they should tell you that before you get done singing. Nice job. Good luck to you in the future. Keep bringing it. I thought you should have won American Idol.
