  yes chealsea you are right... Have we ever seen a Hollywood couple who managed to avoid PDA for almost a year? NO.No one can, and no one is allowed to ask for it , even Summit... If two people really love each other, or head over heels for each other as the tabloids claim ,they cannot hide 24/7.It is not likely that they always show PDA indoors and people witness them kissing and hugging but there are no photos to prove it.Not even one!! They simply cannot be that careless indoors and that careful outdoors. On the other hand, i think that Rob and Nikki dated. Everyone was so focused on Robsten story that they missed out the real one.If you have noticed, Rob and Nikki were spotted by fans on several occasions in LA last summer and were actually alone.They were seen in bars , restaurants and clubs together.Even if Nikki claimed they have never dated, somthing happened between the two and did not work out.If these are good friends how come they never talk and hang out anymore ? They even forget each other's birthdays.I think they gave it a shot but it did not work out and end well. Someone's 8 probably Nikki's) heart was broken and she said they never dated which was basically true ( in the sense of an actual relationship). We have never seen Rob&Kristen alone though.They are always accompanied by Summit people or bodyguards on dinners because they are having cast dinners...Rob is an outspoken and an honest guy,he is very candid.As he claimed he never listens to people around him and does not have a publicist.He claims to be stubborn to do what he wants to do, if he was dating Kristen he would have showed PDA and confirmed it long ago... Plus,in ET interview he said that he related to New Moon better because he feared commitment in real life. A guy in a relationship or in love would never say things like that, infact he would have said the opposite and would have related to Breaking Dawn better.. It is amazing how tabloids pushed these two in a relationship and how Summit used it.They knew that if the actors confirmed the truth , the publicity would die down and the fans would be let down... So they thought''if the fans want them to date relentlessly, let us speculate and manipulate stories so that we can sell magazines and the actors can make publicity''. They were right and it worked... I read the magazines too i admit, however,by reading them a lot i sort of understood the whole deal behind the stories... And i aonly believe what i see, and what i saw was Rob and Nikki hanging out night&day last summer.
