  • Carrie Prejean: No One is Born Gay (4/29/2009)

This pretty girl sure says a lot about things she doesn't know anything about. I am going to assume she is more-or-less heterosexual. I say more-or-less because almost all people are bisexual to some degree (there are very few 100% gay and 100% straight folk in the world). So she's living her good little Christian mostly hetero life, and she thinks gay people like me and millions of other Americans 1)Made a choice at some point to NOT be attracted to the opposite sex 2)'Her' Big Bad God just hates us gays (because of a number of misquoted, mistranslated and taken completely out of context passages from the OLD testament) 3)And therefore our laws need to disregard the Constitution on which they are supposed to rest and instead follow some particular religion's teachings. That silly girl can go live somewhere in the Middle East (or Utah) if she wants to dwell in a land where the laws are governed by someone's interpretation of some religious book. She also really needs to learn what she's talking about before she opens her pretty mouth. Gay marriage is still against the law in 47 of our 50 states, so most Americans have no other choice than to enter into a heterosexual relationship if they want to get married. And all you silly fools who say being gay is some kind of choice - why do you think that? Did YOU choose to be gay? I never did. And 20 years ago I almost died in a car accident, was in a coma for 7 days and lost all my memory for a while. At no time in my years long recovery (when I was still re-learning how to talk, walk, what my name is, who my family & friends are, etc.) at no time was I ever confused or questioning about what attracted me. It was always other men who gave me that special thrill, never women (well, there was 1 woman, so I know how that bisexual thing goes) but it is men who primarily attract me, and I never chose my sexuality. It's just how I am (and was before my accident) wired. In short time that silly, pretty girl will stop getting NEWS and go off to live her mostly hetero life. Maybe she'll learn to not be so cruel, selfish and righteous while she's at it. I've heard that Jesus man was not so fond of folk like her.
