Carrie Prejean had every right to speak her mind at the Miss USA pageant. However, so did everyone else who supported or disagreed with her final answer. While Carrie feels she's being punished for her answers, her employers feel that she was not fulfilling her duties as Miss California USA. There are two sides to every story and we all know that the media doesn't always deliver all of the facts. Or, doesn't deliver the news accuratley.
While I did not appreciate Carrie's final answer at the pageant, I feel that she looked amazing during the show. I also feel that she'll be successful in her career. For someone who is 22, she's done a good job of maintaining her composure during press conferences and interviews. The lovely and very hip,Tami Farrell, will also do well as the new Miss California USA because she understands the roll of a pageant title holder. Afterall, Tami is a former Miss Teen USA. Since Tami has done her time as a national title holder, she's very well prepared to represent the golden state.
Finally, while I appreciate Shanna Moekler's and Keith Lewis's dedication to the Miss California USA organization, it was bad form to release information about Carrie's breast implants. As a former Miss USA, Shanna should have shown more class and as a seasoned pageant director and businessman, Keith just should have known better.

If Miss USA 2009 is crowned Miss Universe 2009, then it's likely that Miss Arizona USA would assume the role as Miss USA. Arizona was 2nd runner-up at the Miss USA pageant. Because Carrie Prejean was removed from her post as Miss California USA, she is also removed from being first runner-up to Miss USA. In my opinion, I'll be surprised if Kristen Dalton (Miss USA) makes it to the top five at the Miss Universe pageant. I feel that Miss Utah USA would have been a stronger delegate. Lovely and very hip, Tami Farrell, will remain Miss California through November.
