How does one act or talk white? I don't expect people to be masters at public speaking or use perfect grammar but I DO think people should be able to pronounce words correctly, or at least come close. That's not too much to 'aks' is it? I mean C'MON people should be able to pronounce simple words like 'ask' & 'that'. I live in the south & I know not everyone is extremely well spoken but I'm not going to apologize for expecting people to know how to use BASIC English & grammar correctly. It especially makes me cringe when I KNOW someone is reasonably well spoken in general. I DO think Iggy is talented & I DO like her music but her rap style (who dat, etc.) just annoys the CRAP out of me!

Looking forward to seeing Katy. Not enthused about seeing Missy Elliott if that's who she's talking about & definitely NOT interested in Lenny Kravitz. I'm hoping the surprise guests ARE just rumors but my guess is they're true. If so, they could've/should've picked some better surprise guests.

When I read that he "broke down" I was expecting to see him be REALLY emotional i.e. (almost) crying. He wasn't close to that. He DID seem uncomfortable & did come across as sincere but he's also seemed the same way at other times apparently (like the countless times he & Selena got back together). Maybe seeing the girl he claimed to be madly in love with happy with another guy (and even rumored to be pregnant...but at this point I'd say that's one of those mega Hollywood rumors) has given him the "slap in the face" that woke his butt up. As far as the interview itself, he said, "I've done some things that might not have been the greatest. I just
want to be able to, you know, just kind of own up to some of the
things." I would have been more impressed if he'd flat out said he'd done a LOT of things that were completely immature, inappropriate & even illegal. He wants to KIND OF be able to own up to SOME things. Dude, own up to it ALL & take responsibility. Yea I'm bashing the guy but I think the majority of the public would be/is as well. I give him credit for at least SEEMING to have matured & changed his attitude. Let's see if he's still like this (or even more mature) in 6 months. Overall he looked like a clean cut young man so thats definitely a step in the right direction. Getting rid of some of the ink on the arms would be another good step for his image. I hadn't heard about the celebrity roast but I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to it. I can't wait to hear what others have to say. I'm sure they'll be saying what most of us have thought the last couple years. We'll see how JB takes it. Seems like a good way to face the comments & who knows, maybe put all his past crap behind him. Personally, I thought he would totally self destruct & be the male Lindsay Lohan but just maybe he put the brakes on in time. Now, lets see if he does a U turn with his behavior.
