  I'm off to bed, but before I go, I have to say that I absolutely loved Adam's version of Beth - absolutely amazing! And what a tribute to him that both Kiss and Queen rocked with him! Bet that won't happen again! On a lighter side, there's a lovely utube video of him talking about the finale, and about Kris, when Kris appears suddenly and gives him a huge hug - it's very cute!   Carole Wellington New Zealand I have been an Adam fan since I saw his audition. I thought his voice was amazing then, but what grabbed me at that stage was his incredible politeness in listening to the judges cringe-making comments about being theatrical etc at that time. My hat went off to him then and it is still off - in the dustbin in fact. Adam has a huge future ahead of him. I really wanted him to win the crown because to me that would show that America didn’t care whether or not one was gay or straight. But alas, America is not yet ready for that next step. So I feel sad, not because Adam didn’t get the title, but because parts of America are so deeply rooted, still, in homophobia. Adam, on a professional level, is better off for not having won the title. Kris needed it much more than him. I shall miss seein Adam grace our television screen each Friday and Saturday night here in EnZed - every week I looked fwd to what he was going to do. Love ALL his interpretations, but probably One and Crying are up there for me. Go well, Adam. You have touched so many people. I hope you get to read these posts!
