  i agree it was the reason the the o.c ended i was a huge fan of the o.c and i own the seasons and i love the frist three seasons but i can not watch the fourth it is not as good marisa was a imporant charter and my friend and i cried when we saw when she died i do think that when the killed marisssa they killed the show people liked to watch to see what crazy thing she would do next and she and ryan were able to relate to each other and they were always there for weach other there romance in the show was just as good and entertaing as the romance of seath and summer i think if they had not killed her off than the show would have had a full fourth season and possibly a fith who knows the show could possibly still be on the show needed her charter for drama as well as entertainment
