• Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Sore Dancing With the Stars Losers? (11/25/2011)

  I love this show. Alot of ppl could have been eliminated earlier on if not for their personalities and popularity. Some of the celebs are not as well known as others. Some are more endearing than others and have better stories. That's just a big part of it. It's not solely a pure dance competition. Let's be honest. I known that Maks and Hope weren't going to make it to the finals. However, I am glad to see that they got as far as they did. The judges were especially harsh on then and Nancy Grace aswell. Don't like Nancy but she didn't deserve all the extra harsh comments. The judges speak of fluidity and grace but there was nothing graceful about their bickering, arguing amongst themselves or their overly critical comments to many of the celebs. These ppl worked hard to learn something new (not easy) whilst doing it in front of the world of judges and bloggers. We can all get fed up and feel between a rock and a hard place and if Maks was sooooo out of place then why did the tone of the judges change to a sweater one the very next week. They realized that they were a bit harsh and playing favorites. One critique of Maks teaching style. Never once did I hear him or the judges tell Hope about her lines in terms of straightening out her legs fully when they should have been straight. That would have went miles for making her appear more graceful. Often times her legs were a bit flexed where when they should not have been..
