Emily is fake. She had fake tears everytime she let someone go and it broke her heart so bad. She has been handed everything on a golden platter, educated or not and doesn't know the meaning of work. Jef, is a nice guy but also seems very immature. I didn't see the fit with them. I did want Arie to win because he was genuine in his feelings for her and the passion was there. But, in the end maybe Arie really was the lucky one by not being chosen. How can you say you love someone and make out with every guy on the show, other than the couple that were jerks. Arie will find someone just as genuine as he is and be happier than Emily and Jef ever will be.

Maybe Emily was AFRAID that the sexual chemistry she had with Arie combined with the fact, he too, got along with her daughter would have made her decision much much harder. It's easier to pick from one who got along with her daughter than chance not being able to make a decision from the two that did. Arie, was blindsided for sure. But I am sure considering the press on Arie, if true, is not crying alone in his beer anymore. Maybe he is the one that dodged a bullet!

I think that Emily and Arie had the chemsistry that is so important in a relationship. And I too feel it was unfair for her to let Ricki meet Jef and not Arie. Arie was unmistakenly in love with Emily and still was on the final rose episode. I think Emily is looking for love with the wrong person. When I watched an interview with Emily and Jef I heard only Jef talking. I think will we unfortunately discover him to be controlling in a passive aggressive way, and I just hope Emily doesn't stay in the relationship just because she doesn't want to be the one to get engaged a billion times.

I, too, think it was unfair for Emily to allow Ricki to meet Jef but not allow her to meet Ari. Since she did not allow them to meet, I feel that she will never know how good a father Arie could have been to her daughter. It was totally unfair!

i think she should have picked arie she picked jef bc she liked how he was with with rikki maybe arie would have been even better with her she made her decision to early
