THERE IS NO NEED TO USE THIS WORD. I THINK Sheri IS BEING RACIST BY SAYING ONLY black PEOPLE SHOULD USE THE "n" word. no one should use this word.

Sherri I being ignorant as it's fullest. Barbara, as was Whoopi, was talking about the hot topic. Sherri couldn't even give a good explanation about what ticked her off. Black people use the word nigger on a daily basis so if they don't want to be called nigger then they should stop using it themselves and maybe then they will be less hated and more respected!

I don't believe white people should say the N word. I am a white woman and even I feel like it's discrimination. I understand if you're reading a book out loud for class or something, but looking someone in the face and calling them that is disrespectful.

I think Sherri is an ignorant fool. She calls out Barbara for explaining someting and using the word "nigger", which was the topic of conversation. Barbara never used the word in a deragatory way, which I would then agree with Sherri having an argument. Sherri just showed her true color "black" and even says she uses the word with her family and it's ok. She also told barbara that she did not like her saying n-i-g-g-e-r and it should be pronounced the ebonics way of n-i-g-g-a. Barbara should fire her for being a dumb ass. I did like Whoopies explanation of, not knowing what way we should say, so she just says nigger. I feel the same way if its in conversation and not derogatory, then its ok to say no matter if you are white or black. I am white and feel that the whole "n" word thing is dumb... If i lived in the wood for the past 35 years and didn't know better i would think that "n" stood for, nice, new, nympho, etc. PEOPLE just say "nigger" if its in conversation. N-word is not pol

A long time ago a black lady that I respected and loved (I am white)explained the n word as a person with a black heart. It could be a white or black person! We were never allowed to call anyone the n word! We either called them Negro or colored person. I do think Shari was wrong in attacking Barbara W.....it was uncalled for. I also believe Afro Americans are more racist than the white/ caucasians...they call or can say anything about the white people but are always are looking for a reason to call white people rackets!

As an American I am insulted that we have come to this. I am tired of one race deciding what is racist. Why can't we all be AMERICANS and honor each other. WHites should not be calling blacks the "N" word, BUt id the blacks don't want to hear it from other races, they should set the example and not call each other that. This is double standards. Please get over the crap, and become what you all are. AMERICANS!!!! not black, white, spanish, mexican, irish, jewish...etc.......Get over it Sherry, You know Barbara was just talking about a topic, and she did not mean anything by it......

Shari is the one that is very prejudice. Barbara did nothing wrong. Shari needs to get over it! In fact, I don't even like her anymore just because of that comment. I don't like the way she thinks. Get her off the show!!!

this issue really irritates me.
During a trip to MLK museum in birmingham al., couple black children during images projected onto wall, were refering to MLK as my nigga, as a white woman I was outraged and called NAACP about it. They call eack other N@@@@R, My child was outraged that blacks went thru what civil righters went thru and was asking questions on the suffering 2 black women said to her your ancestors did this to us- to witch my daughter replied my anncestors were still in italy during that time.so who was racists there?
Sherri had no offence if whoppie said the N word but not ok by BW.
WE HAVE BLACK COLLEGES,BLACK MISS AMERICA AND BET,YET THATS NOT RACISTS TRY HAVING ANYTHING WITH WHITE BEFORE IT.
I know of no one being a slave , quit falling on that sword,be proud of your ancentors. At 1 time in America Irish were treated worse than blacks yet no irish screamed discrimination.
