Needs a third option for the poll - it's not as easy as yes or no. Yes if she's unable; no if she's able to take care of them. Anyone would likely need help with 14 kids of course and the deck is stacked against her. But if she (or any of us) is able to successfully raise them well, and without neglect, then no one should have their kids ripped away from them. DCF is very necessary but their "power" is far too generous in my opinion. Yes, they have to prove everything but they can strip children from parents while they do so. If they turn out to be incorrect the family still pays a price - kids with no idea why they can't see mom or dad and parents horrified they'll never see their child again! I believe welfare of the child(ren) should be paramount...but that doesn't mean it's all black and white just because DCF says so...
