I am a Christian who supports same-sex marriage. Surely God sees into a person's heart to know if they are committed to marriage or not, and the right to marry should be available to all couples who wish to commit to marriage. It can't come soon enough in my opinion.

If u were a true Christian u would know the srciptures and in them it is called an abomination by the Almighty creator so a true Christian could not support this

Jane N, unless if you don't know the meaning of Christian...But going by your own confession, I am sorry to inform you that you're not a Christian or anything near and no amount of comforting words will make you; you disqualify yourself

Gregory8 : I will tell you why Gay-Marriages are hurting me. Its the fact that These gay couples are on there way to hell! And we dont need science to prove each opinion or statement we make. We just can uses the 'The Word Of God' (the tuth). And By the way (You didnt have any proof in your wee comment, did you?) 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV) 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor HOMOSEXUALS, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. Lets pray that the government and high up leaders in the community will start making wise choices and decisions.

I am a married heterosexual male but what I don't see is just how a gay couple is going to harm me or my family. We know gay couples, inter-racial couples, and unmarried couples, and none of them have had any negative influence on us. All of you so-called Christians have never said exactly how allowing a gay couple to get married is going to hurt us. The answer is that you can't with anything other than an unsupported opinion. How about some scientifically proven facts, now that I would accept. Ah, but there's the problems: you don't like science very much either do you.

Why should same sex couples be offered more rights than heterosexual couples? Unmarried heterosexual couples are not given any rights that are afforded to married heterosexual couples. And as I believe marriage is between on man and one woman, then homosexual couples should not be given any rights that are not allowed for heterosexual couples.
