Ann Curry was awesome! She is a very classy, intelligent woman. I don't know why in the world they would get rid of her after one year, but, as people have said above, they better take a look at Matt Lauer, he's been on there so long I think he's calling the shots. He'll never have the class Ann has! She sounded very sad during her farewell and it doesn't sound like it is a decision she agreed with. Well, Matt didn't like Meredith either!

NBC does not care what we think. They say the "ratings" showed that viewers were down.....well, how do they get these so-called bogus ratings?? Did anyone ask YOU??? I know no one asked me. Ann Curry was the best thing going for the Today Show! She is why I tuned in every morning...and I DVR'ed it when I was gone. She was sincere and a good person....and EXCELLENT newsperson in every way. I often remarked to my husband how interesting she was compared to the fast, flighty-acting other people. I am sick of the cold corporate decisions that destroy people. As a result, I will no longer be watching the Today Show. NBC.....YOU COULD FIX THIS BY BRINGING HER BACK. But you won't, will you? Because you do not value your loyal employees or your loyal viewers.....so why should we value you? Goodbye.

agree with all of the intelligent folks who could tell from day one that Ann was given a hard time because she was not picked by Matt. I really dislike him more than ever now. And for all the people that say he needs to go, I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!! I will NEVER watch today again, and I too have been a today show watcher for many years. I think that with M.L... the only women he can work with are the ones that he is diddling. And Ann doesn't play that sh--. Ann, you are class and too good for NBC. Lauer sucks. And like everyone else, I am now a GMA watcher. Ann, maybe you should open up talks with ABC. I will watch for your next reports

The Today show just lost another long time viewer. Ann Curry is a class act, the Today execs were not smart enough to know when they were well off. Shame on you for the way you handled the entire matter. I understand that business is business but you are ruthless!

I am disgusted with the today show. Ann was not the reason your ratings dropped. I think matt needs to go. He apparently is not easy to get along with. I am switching to gma where the people are accepting of each other. Good luck ann. I hope you really go places!
