After much speculation, it's confirmed that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have split. This time, we don't suspect he'll take her back either.

"Tony dumped Jessica," a source told Us. "Of course, she's upset!"

When we saw Tony Romo putting the moves on some girl named Lindsay, we figured it was over. The biggest reason for the break up?

"This Jen-John Mayer thing is eating her up, and she can't handle it â€" and Tony basically had enough," a Simpson pal said. "She's too much to handle."

As we reported earlier this week, the day Jennifer Aniston and Mayer - yet another famous Jessica ex - went public as a couple, she went on a binge that left her so drunk and out of it, she called her mom for a ride.

We missed Adnan Ghalib.

The last time we heard from the former paparazzi boyfriend of Britney Spears, he was seen with Kathy Griffin. No clue WTF that was all about.

Oh, and there was the whole thing with that knife-wielding maniac trying to kill him. No idea what went on there or if it got resolved.

Nor do we know when and how he and Britney broke up, though we're assuming it happened at some point, as he essentially dropped off the planet.

That is, until this week.

The National Enquirer reports he's making one last grab at Britney Spears' assets. No, not that newly-toned and sexy caboose. Her cash, people.

How's he doing it? With a sex tape, of course!

Rumors say Adnan Ghalib is shopping around a Britney Spears sex tape filmed during their trip January trip to Rosarito, Mexico.

"The video starts with Britney undressing," said an insider. "She was wearing some cheap clothes she bought down there in Rosarito. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout."

Yes, of course she does.

"At one point in the tape Adnan Ghalib asks Britney to remove the pink bob but she refuses, saying 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.'"

This "insider" also thinks a Britney Spears sex tape would be the top selling celebrity sex video ever, topping even the Paris Hilton-Rick Salomon romp, 1 Night in Paris.

Jessica Simpson is devastated and getting hammered every time she thinks of John Mayer tapping the spectacular booty of Jennifer Aniston.

But another Mayer ex, Minka Kelly, is all good with it.

"I wish them the best," the Friday Night Lights star said at NBC's upfront presentation in New York City on Monday night.

The extremely hot actress, 27, and the douchebag singer, 30, debuted as a couple in October 2007, but called it off in January.

"John initiated the split," a friend of the couple said at the time. "He just wasn't ready to commit to Minka or to anyone."

That's the understatement of the year. Guy cycles through women (and Perez Hilton) like nobody's business.

John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have been hot and heavy in Miami and New York over the past few weeks. Ew.

Former nanny Jessica Gibson has accused Rob Lowe of dropping his pants.

Now, the actor wants a California court to drop the lawsuit filed against him by Gibson.

Lowe is asking the court to dismiss portions of a countersuit against him by the woman who says he showed her his genitals one too many times, according to documents released yesterday.

"Each of Gibson's [accusations] is completely unfounded ... but nine of those ... are subject to immediate dismissal because she has failed ... to even allege the essential elements of a claim of relief," Lowe's attorney Larry Stein wrote.

Among the charges Stein wants to see dismissed are: unpaid overtime, meals and rest periods. Penis flashing, evidently, would still be on the table.

A court date to hear the request for dismissal is set for June 19.

California, here they come!

On the day the California Supreme Court overturned that state's ban against gay marriage, Ellen DeGeneres announced on her talk show that her and longtime partner Portia de Rossi have plans to wed.

The former Academy Award host made the declaration during a taping of an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday. It airs today.

De Rossi, who was in the studio, and DeGeneres received a standing ovation from the audience. Allow us to now join that crowd in congratulating these two love birds.

Conversely, allow us to extend condolences to Anne Heche. It's been a rough week for Ellen's ex. Her show, Men in Trees, got canceled; she then said she could not afford alimony payments to Coley Laffoon; and now this.

Of course, Heche is straight now. So maybe she wishes Ellen and Portia the best.

We hate to break it to you, David Cook - but you better get used to this.

Especially if you win American Idol next week, life as you know it will cease to exist. This is mostly a good thing.

But it also means that a trip to Sbarro with friends will become major celebrity gossip news. That's the way of our world. Welcome to it.
