Anne Hathaway put on a brave face at the premiere of her new film, Get Smart, last night after breaking up with boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.

The 25-year-old star ended her four year relationship with the possibly criminal Italian-American businessman and real estate magnate, 29.

Sources say Anne's days of giving blowjobs at sea came to an end because of the effects his shady business dealings could have on her career.

Last week, it was reported that his charity, the Follieri Foundation, which says it funds vaccination programs in developing countries, was under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's Office.

In April, Raffaello Follieri was arrested on fraud charges after a former business associate sued him for allegedly bouncing a $250,000 check.

Shady Raffaello Follieri has been kicked to the curb by Anne Hathaway.

A source close to Hathaway said: "It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals - multiple scandals - were hurting her reputation."

Raffaello Follieri often visited Hathaway on the Boston set of her upcoming movie Bride Wars, but they were regularly spotted arguing by crew members.

As we reported earlier this month, there has been much talk of The Hills spinning off one of its lovely stars, Whitney Port, for her own show.

Sounds like those reports were jumping the gun a bit, however.

So says Whitney Port herself. Kristin Veitch of E! Online recently checked in with the BFF of Lauren Conrad and she said:

"I heard that too, but as far as I know, that's not happening."

Don't look for Whitney Port to star on her own show anytime soon.

When asked if she'd want to do a spinoff, the 23-year-old said:

"Yeah, possibly, but as of right now, there's too much up in the air and it's just too much into the future for me to think about it."

Whitney says she will still be working with Lauren Conrad at People's Revolution for the upcoming fourth season of The Hills.

On the Today show this morning, Billy Ray Cyrus finally commented on the infamous Vanity Fair photo of his daughter posing topless.

The country crooner pleaded ignorance when it came to Miley Cyrus stripping down for the camera.

"I didn't know they were going to strip her down and wrap her in a blanket," said Cyrus, appearing on the program to promote Nashville Star, adding of the topless shot of his daughter: "I was surprised when I saw it ... but, hey, that's life. Stuff happens."

It does, indeed, Billy Ray.

As for the picture of Miley with her dad, striking a pose that appeared more suitable between a boyfriend and girlfriend rather than a father and daughter, the elder Cyrus laughed at such a notion.

"That's just a daddy who loves his daughter a whole lot," he said.

Note to Billy Ray: that doesn't make it seem any less creepy.

Republican presidential nominee John McCain's wife, Cindy McCain, has once again cooked up some controversy by shoplifting a recipe. And this time, former president Bill Clinton was also busted for the same thing!

Cindy McCain and Bill Clinton, along with Michelle Obama, the wife of Sen. Barack Obama (who was endorsed by Al Gore last night) submitted their cookie recipes for the 5th Presidential Bake-Off in Family Circle.

The problem? Bill Clinton and Cindy McCain swiped theirs.

The July issue features a recipe for "Cindy McCain's Oatmeal-Butterscotch Cookies" - "an absolute must whenever the whole family gets together," Cindy McCain raves to Family Circle - only they're from Hershey.

As for Bill Clinton, he attributes his oatmeal cookie recipe to a longtime family cook... when it's really by a cook named Betty Crocker.

"I did not have relations with that recipe."

Earlier this year, a John McCain intern lifted some of Rachael Ray's recipes, posting them as "Cindy's Recipes" on her husband's campaign site.

The intern was thrown under the bus and fired.

There's clearly a pattern emerging for Cindy, and when it comes to Bill Clinton, everything he does comes back to haunt him. Like Gina Gershon.

And to think, people say Michelle Obama is not American enough. At least she can come up with her own recipe ... or not get caught.

According to Selena Gomez, it's really easy being green. That's not what we hear from Kermit the Frog, but if the young Disney star is referring to environmental awareness, she has our full support.

Gomez, who stars on Wizards of Waverly Place, is billed as the next Miley Cyrus or Vanessa Hudgens. If that's the case, though, she'll have to take far racier photos than the one below:

Troubled singer Britney Spears may be ready to move out of her place in the Hollywood Hills - to become a full-fledged Valley girl - Calabasas style, baby.

Ding dang it! That'll be so awesome, y'all! Oh emm gee!!!

According to TMZ, Britney is "looking like crazy" to buy a house in a very exclusive part of Calabasas (former home to Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey among others) located in the San Fernando Valley, north of L.A.

There are two sets of guard gates keeping Britney Spears' potential new 'hood from the common folk (and celebrity gossip photographers), so her father / protector, Jamie Spears, is surely happy about the idea.

The new pad would also be closer (and certainly more accessible) to the FedEx man and their kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James (pictured)

You may recall that K-Fed lives in the L.A. neighborhood of Tarzana, which is just a quick jaunt down the 101 Freeway ... mom of the year!

Regardless of what Brit wants, Jamie Spears will have to give it the OK.

Over the weekend, David Archuleta was pressured into praising his father, Jeff Archuleta, for the world to read. So we assume, at least.

After summarizing his Father's Day plans, David wrote the following on his MySpace page:

"Thanks everyone for wishing my dad a happy Father's Day. I really appreciate that and I know he does as well. He's been great so I'm glad you guys took time to send him your messages. Hope everyone else's dads had a great time, too!"

Did Jeff Archuleta force his son to write a positive blog about him? It wouldn't shock us if so.

The elder Archuleta was banned from appearing backstage on American Idol earlier this year, following an incident in which he screamed at show producers for not allowing his son to change lyrics on a song; he's been referred to many times as a controlling stage dad.

The 17-year-old David has always stood by Jeff's side, however.

Meanwhile, fans will get a chance to see the singer do what he does best during the upcoming American Idol Idol tour, while David will also release a debut album in the fall.
