It's been a roller coaster week for former Dancing with the Stars contestant and Bayside High School graduate Mario Lopez.

While the serious stud muffin was just named People's Hottest Bachelor, he also stands accused of cheating on ex-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff.

Ironically, in the article touting Mario's selection and physique, the aforementioned magazine asks him about his ideal mate:

"I like a girl who's from a modest sort of upbringing, because it's more relatable," Lopez said. "I'm a first-generation American. My parents [Elvia and Mario Sr.] emigrated from Mexico and live in the same house I grew up in Chula Vista, Calif. Now that Meagan Cooper has told E! that she and Lopez carried on a year-long affair while he dated Smirnoff, the quote above makes one wonder just what kind of guy the actor truly is.

Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears, intends to sell her Studio City home in the latest liquidation of her assets, a court revealed Tuesday.

The hilltop house, located in a gated community, has been the scene of the recent drama in the singer's life, such as the night(s) in January when she was forcibly taken from the property and forced into a psychiatric ward.

No word officially on where she'll be moving, but as we reported Tuesday, she's looking to ditch Hollywood and move to the quieter Valley.

She's close to moving out of The Hills and into the Valley.

Now there's more good news for Hollywood's most beloved train wreck.

Officials say they will not file charges against Britney Spears stemming from a 2007 incident in which she drove over the foot of a celebrity news guy while speeding out of the doctor's office where she received collagen injections, natch.

The reasoning? The only way the dude's foot could have been where a celeb news video showed it to be was if he himself had put it there.

Deputy district attorney Joseph Shidler told the press:

"We have no evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect, Ms. Britney Spears, was at all aware that the victim's foot had in fact been struck by the vehicle. There was much commotion and noise at the time and there is no proof that the suspect was aware of what had happened."

The Deputy D.A. added "The only way the victim's foot could have been where the video indicates was by the victim placing it in that location."

Best Father's Day ever!

Not only did Tiger Woods force a playoff in the U.S. Open Sunday (he went on to win Monday), but his almost-one-year-old daughter was there to see it.

After Tiger beat challenger Rocco Mediate, wife Elin Nordegren and their wonderful baby Sam Alexis were standing by to celebrate.

After his historic victory in San Diego, which followed months of painful knee injuries, Tiger gave all the credit to Sam Alexis Woods:

"There's no way I could have gotten through this without Sam being there. Just watching her grow, walking, running now, it's been just the greatest thing in the world."
