Former Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick is engaged. Somehow, she convinced David Kovacs to propose to her. Hopefully for his sake it's a stunt.

That's not a stretch. The reality star's boyfriend popped the question as cameras rolled at STYLE360 Sachika's fashion show at NYC's Fashion Week.

David Kovacs makes the biggest mistake of his life.

"She said yes," says the onlooker of Pivarnick. "She was completely surprised [and said], 'Are you serious?' She looked really happy and shocked."

"She covered her face with her hand and dropped ring on carpet because she was so nervous. He then picked her up and they hugged and kissed."

We have a few updates on journalist Lara Logan and, given her situation, all are as positive as one could hope for.

The 39-year old is at home and resting comfortably, surrounded by her husband and two children. In other news:

• An insider familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal that the attack lasted 20 to 30 minutes and "was not a rape."
• It took place a week after Logan and her crew were already arrested once in Egypt. She returned to interview Wael Ghonim, the Google executive who played a role in organizing the uprising that led to Hosni Mubarak's resignation.

• Said Logan to Esquire of that ordeal: "We were arrested, detained, and interrogated. Blindfolded, handcuffed, taken at gunpoint, our driver beaten. It's the regime that arrested us. They arrested [our producer] just outside of his hotel, and they took him off the road at gunpoint, threw him against the wall, handcuffed him, blindfolded him. Took him into custody like that."
• Friends say Logan plans to be back to work within a few weeks and is in good spirits.
• Possessing an "incredibly tough constitution, she is going to be okay," a source added.

So reads the custody scoreboard between this former couple, after a judge ruled in the actress' favor today and said she could take daughter Nahla to New York for a movie shoot.

Sources confirm to TMZ that these two started to fight over their child when Aubry attempted to block Berry from taking the two-year with her across the country to film New Year's Eve.

With the Oscar winner in attendance, a Los Angeles judge gave her the green light bring Nahla along for the duration of her time on set.

"We are pleased the judge took the time to deal with this very imminent and important issue," Berry's attorney, Neal Hersh, said. "The judge read a great deal of paperwork and gave us time to argue."

Man. All this over the sequel to Valentine's Day?!? Perhaps if Berry and Aubry watched that atrocious romantic comedy, the entire hullabaloo could have been avoided.

The person who booked Lindsay Lohan on the Late Show with David Letterman this week without authorization was none other than her dad. Naturally.

Michael Lohan says he signed her up to read the Top Ten list after getting the green light from Lindsay herself ... apparently Lindsay saw it differently.

Right after announcing LiLo's appearance, CBS issued a retraction this morning, explaining that some impostor booked her without her authorization.

Letterman's people said that someone "purporting to be a friend of Lindsay's" reached out to them and made the booking, but did not reveal a name.

Lindsay did not explain this fiasco in much detail, but Tweeted late last night that she NEVER agreed to do the show and apologized for the confusion.

Michael says he was behind it, that he got the idea after Dave cracked a joke at Lindsay's expense during Friday's "Top 10", and Lindsay was into it.

Again, perhaps he could have checked with Lindsay? Or did he and get jerked around by the recalcitrant star and/or members of her "camp"?

Putting her hit talk show on hiatus in order to do so, Wendy Williams will attempt to showcase her ballroom skills this spring on Dancing With the Stars.

Williams has been critical of other contestants on the program in the past, especially that stiff Kate Gosselin, who she said "dances awkward, horrible."

We'll see how Wendy herself does now that she's in the spotlight.

Her rep told the New York Post, "We have no confirmation on that. Production hasn't added any last-minute or unplanned hiatus days to the schedule."

After an investigation that's spanned several months, the Oksana Grigorieva extortion case is now in the hands of the L.A. County District Attorney.

The case file went to the D.A.'s office at noon today.

Some sources say a charge is unlikely, given the inconsistencies in her story and the obvious credibility problems she has amassed over half a year.

The D.A. will soon decide if Oksana will be charged with extortion.

It boils down to a $15 million deal Oksana signed, and then walked away from, during child custody mediation sessions with Gibson in May, 2010.

The deal included child support, a house, and other assets ... plus the guarantee that Oksana would NOT leak the now-infamous Mel Gibson tapes.

The D.A. has also yet to decide whether to charge Mel Gibson with domestic abuse, which Oksana alleges and the actor has vehemently denied.

Somewhere between funny talk show interviews and award ceremonies, Justin Bieber found time this month to sit down with Rolling Stone.

Aside from quickly closing his computer as soon as the reporter commented on a wallpaper photo of himself and Selena Gomez in front of a sunset (AWWW!), Justin touched on a number of topics. Many of them controversial. Check out his views on sex, abortion and Canada below.

On intercourse: "I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them. I think you should just wait for the person you're... in love with."

On abortion: "I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby?"

What if it's the result of rape? "Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

On health care: "Canada's the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here [America], your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard's baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby's premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home."

UPDATE: Rolling Stone admits to leaving out a key sentence. Justin actually answered one of the questions above with:

"Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."
