Eminem Dethrones Lady Gaga on Facebook

Eminem has dethroned Lady Gaga as the most popular living person on Facebook, according to Famecount (dot) com. The Queen's reign lasted eight months.

With almost 29 million Facebook fans (people that "Like" is page), Eminem overtook Gaga, who still remains within a million fans of the rapper's overall total.

Only one person retains more Facebook popularity than Eminem - the late Michael Jackson. At just over 29 million Likes, Michael looks poised to fall to #2-3.

Lady Gaga held the lead since June 25 of last year, when she overtook President Barack Obama (who has since fallen to 12th place among living humans).

On Twitter, Gaga's 8.4 million Little Monsters dwarfs Eminem's modest 3 million, while he lags both Gaga and Justin Bieber on Twitter and YouTube as well.

Whoever's #1, they're in a class by themselves. Perhaps the three can form a social media triumvirate, pooling resources en route to world domination.

Beyonce in Blackface: Artistic or Awful?

Featured in the 90th anniversary edition of French fashion magazine L'Officiel Paris, Beyonce finds herself at the center of a new controversy.

The singer/actress poses for the publication in African-inspired dresses and jewelry, honoring that region's artistic influences around the globe. But she also paints her face black, a move that has been met by criticism. In response, the magazine has released a statement that reads:

"The designs are all reflective of the African influence on fashion this season. As for the artistic make-up, the inspiration came from several African rituals during which paint is used on the face. We find the images beautiful and inspiring."

Watch the following, behind-the-scenes video of the pictorial and then give your opinion on the scandal below.

Jason Davis Charged With Felony Drug Possession

Jason Davis, a.k.a. Gummi Bear, a.k.a. Brandon Davis' big brother, a.k.a. the dude on Celebrity Rehab, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

The charge stems from his heroin arrest last month.

Davis got popped in Newport Beach on January 27 and was also charged with being under the influence and possessing drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

Jason Davis' battles with addiction are well documented.

According to legal documents, Davis was allegedly high on a "Central nervous system stimulant (prescription medication) and narcotic analgesic (painkillers)."

Davis faces up to three years in prison if convicted of all charges, but most likely he won't do any time and will be placed on probation. That's our guess.

After all, Dr. Drew probably has some powerful friends ...

According to the report by the Lopatcong Township Police Department, Rivera was a passenger in his brother's Honda Civic when it was pulled over.

The reason? "because sparks were flying out from the undercarriage of the car."

That will do it. Police say that both brothers were "found to be under the influence of marijuana." Edward failed a field sobriety test at the scene.

Meet Ashthon Jones, American Idol Semifinalist

Remember the name Ashthon Jones. You may be hearing it often over the next couple months.

The Tennessee native joined others such as Paul McDonald and Haley Reinhart in being named a season 10 semifinalist last night. Such an honor completes an amazing journey for Jones, who started singing with her church choir.

She actually ran away at the age of 15, a year after the man who raised her since birth passed away. Ashthon has never met her biological father. A fan of painting and roller skating, Jones never gave up on her dream. Might it lead to an American Idol title? She's on her way...

Paul McDonald Moves On, Impresses with Original Song, Suit

He was not featured often prior to last night, but Paul McDonald took advantage of his time in Las Vegas.

The 25-year old contestant, who originally auditioned in Nashville, first took to the stage with Kendra Chantelle and impressed with a duet of The Beatles classic "Blackbird."

He then took a risk for his final audition of the evening, donning an eccentric suit and choosing an original song, one titled "American Dreams." Apt for a hopeful who was later named to the season 10 semifinals, don't you think? Check out both performances below:
