NBA legend Reggie Miller is "fearing for his safety" from "erratic" Alex von Furstenberg, a wealthy aristocrat whose fiancee Reggie was sexting earlier this year.

The former Indiana Pacers guard says Alex tried to fight him and run his car off the road. Reggie Miller filed for and obtained a restraining order against him.

Reggie suffered "fear and distress" when Alex von Furstenberg confronted him October 17 as he sat outside a café in Malibu, yelling, "I will beat you down."

Miller refused to fight von Furstenberg and drove off.

But Alex followed him and "maneuvered his vehicle in front of me several times," pulling alongside and "hanging out of the window in a threatening manner."

Alex von Furstenberg, Ali Kay and Reggie Miller: An odd love triangle.

Von Furstenberg, son of Fiat heir Prince Egon von Furstenberg and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, believes Miller tried to steal his fiancée, Ali Kay.

Reggie Miller and Ali Kay definitely engaged flirty texts after meeting earlier this year, but those texts are believed to have been the extent of their relationship.

In retalliation, Alex von Furstenberg hired a plane to fly down the Southern California coast with a sign reading "Reggie Miller Stop Pursuing Married Women!"

An odd word choice, since he and Ali aren't even married. Minor detail. Regardless, unless there is serious sexting still going on, AVF needs to get over it. Yeesh.

Earlier this year, Oprah used her show to educate viewers about domestic violence, and in the process warned viewers that most abusers repeat their actions.

Brown took the remark as a slight against him and charged her with being one-sided. Winfrey shot back at Brown, telling the singer he should get some help.

In an interview with Angie Martinez on New York's Hot 97, Brown clarified his remarks. He said he hoped Oprah would have reached out to him and Rihanna.

"At the time, I think I needed a helping hand, for her to reach out to me and Rihanna, say this is wrong and this is right, whatever the case may be," he said.

"Not even to be on the show; just make it about helping. Because at the end of the day I thought we had that type of relationship where it could be like that."

Brown cited Will Smith and Diddy as examples, saying that both reached out to him and offered help, although neither let him off the hook for what he did.

Off tha Hook

Chris Brown is out of seclusion and on the interview circuit.

"As a young black man, I need older black male role models to step in and kind of mold me. Not people bashing me, 'cause that's not how you learn," he said.

Brown nixed a rumor that he was scheduled to perform in a BET Awards tribute to Michael Jackson before Rihanna's producer-mentor Jay-Z nixed the idea.

"That's the silliest rumor I ever heard," Jay-Z said, but admitted he's not a fan of the singer. Brown reiterated Jay-Z's claims about personal differences.

"I don't know and don't think it was him," Brown said, adding that despite bad blood between his and Rihanna's camp, "I don't got anything against homie."

At the moment, Brown is forbidden from communicating with Rihanna. He says he still loves her and hates losing his friendship with the "Umbrella" singer.

Finally, Chris admitted the legendary YouTube video of the wedding party dancing down the aisle to his hit "Forever" brought him out of his darkest days.

The life of a celebrity blogger can be depressing at times.

It's hard not to be cynical when you report on the likes of Richard Heene, Amy Winehouse and Michael Lohan.

But it's all worthwhile every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. That's when we see back, turn on Fox and let the cast of Glee etch a one-hour smile on our faces.

The musical comedy is pretty much taking over the pop culture universe, as its cast will sing the national anthem prior to game three of the World Series.

Meanwhile, we can confirm that the show has received permission to use any song in the Madonna catalog - and that ADAM LAMBERT MIGHT APPEAR ON AN EPISODE NEXT YEAR! The news just keeps getting better.

Great Glee Music + Adorable Glee Cast = The Happiest Hour on Television!

After her shocking affair and harassment of ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips, we were kind of expecting more from Brooke Hundley by way of pictures.

You know, the boilerplate scandalous, half-naked, wild-child stuff. Brooke Hundley is 22 years old, after all, and clearly has a screw loose if not several.

A normal girl doesn't write a letter to her lover's wife bragging about nailing him, or stalk his teenage son on Facebook, or crash her car into his house.

Yet she looks decidedly normal in pictures like this one ...

Beneath that awkward smile lies psycho Brooke Hundley.

After the Steve Phillips scandal broke yesterday, the former New York Mets general manager asked for and was granted a leave of absence from his job at ESPN.

His mind clearly took one earlier this year when he decided to sleep with this girl.

There's nothing wrong with the All-American Plain Jane type, don't get us wrong, but you gotta wonder why one risks one's entire life for sex with a crazy person.

It's a great time to be a vampire.

Opening night screenings for New Moon are already sold out. Adam Lambert says he'll dress as a blood sucker for Halloween.

And, now, The CW has announced a full-season pick-up for The Vampire Diaries.

It was an easy decision for the network, considering the show set a ratings record for its series premiere and has remained competitive on Thursday nights. Fans can't get enough of Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore.

Have you been watching it? Do you like it? Or do you really, really, really like it?

The Vampire Diaries Poster

Move over, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley have carved a niche for themselves in vampire lore.

ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips is taking a leave of absence amid the sex scandal that he finds himself snared in thanks to former lover Brooke Hundley.

The New York media reported earlier that the former General Manager of the New York Mets was involved in a relationship with the female ESPN employee.

Phillips is married, and lives with his wife and four children, in Wilton, Conn. He had a sexual affair this summer with Brooke Hundley, which he broke off.

This blew up in his face when she allegedly stalked his 16-year-old son on Facebook and dropped off a bizarre letter to Phillips' wife Marni at their house.

The letter pretty much bragged about her affair with Steve, disclosing details about his genitalia and asserting that his marriage to Marni Phillips was over.

After dropping the letter off, Hundley then drove her car into a pilon, traumatizing the family and leading Steve Phillips to file a police report against her.

Steve Phillips is taking a leave of absence from ESPN.

Acknowledging the relationship in a statement, Phillips said:

"I am deeply sorry that I have put my family and colleagues through this. It is a personal matter that I will not comment on further. I have, however, asked for a leave of absence to address this with my family and to avoid unnecessary distractions."

ESPN suspended him for a week and released this statement:

"We were aware of this and took appropriate disciplinary action at the time. We have granted Steve Phillips' request for an extended leave of absence to address it."

The irony here is that Steve Phillips gets paid, presumably a lot, to talk about baseball on TV and dispense opinions on the sport, despite the fact that he was fired as a GM after making some terrible personnel decisions.

Yet he can't do the same because slept with a crazy 22-year-old.

We may receive some complaints for this, but THG must tell it like it is:

Pregnancy is not sexy.

Look, our staff loves babies. In the interest of full disclosure, in fact, our Secretary is expecting his first child this spring. But that doesn't mean we need to see knocked up celebrities parading around in a bikini, about to pop.

Especially when that celebrity (let's refer to her as "Kendra Wilkinson") is clearly making money off her state by posing for a supermarket tabloid. It's just creepy all around.

Shockingly, Kendra has not heeded this advice, however, and is featured (in all her pregnant glory) in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly.

Baby Bumped to the Max

Inside the magazine, Kendra keeps grossing us out by explaining how pregnancy has affected her sex life.

"I am a wild girl in bed and I can’t really be that wild anymore because I have limits now. I have 40 extra pounds in my belly, so I get tired easily. But... I have a great man in bed, he definitely knows how to please me."

Way to go, Hank Baskett. We guess.

These photos would be a lot cuter... if they weren't placed in the pages of a celebrity gossip rag.

Proud parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have debuted their little boy, Sparrow, to the world this week. Still a mystery? Why he's named Sparrow.

Posing with the cuddly 6-week-old in this week's People, Nicole and her longtime partner, Joel Madden, sort of address that subject in the magazine.

"We have different tastes in names," Nicole tells the celebrity news staple. "Sparrow was one we both liked. I liked the way it sounded with Harlow.

"There's also the Captain Jack Sparrow connection."

Joel adds, "It reminded me of the Johnny Cash song 'A Boy Named Sue.' My worry raising a son in Hollywood is what will he have to struggle for?"

"I wanted to give him a name that he's going to have to stand up for. I love it; I think it's a beautiful name."

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are proud parents of two extremely cute kids with two interesting names! Their explanations for said names? Equally puzzling.

So basically, Joel Madden wanted to name his son Sparrow not only aware he will be mocked for it, but in part BECAUSE of that fact. Awesome.

As for rumors going around the Internet that Joel and Nicole are actually secretly married, that doesn't seem to be true. At least not right now.

"One day I would love to get married," Nicole says. "It's not something we're talking about. If my kids ask me to get married, I'd get married."

This concludes today's celebrity baby name article. We now returned to regularly scheduled Balloon Boy / Jon Gosselin / Steve Phillips gossip.

Well is a relative term when you're talking about Amy Winehouse, but dad Mitch says she's doing well inside and out – including a recent breast enhancement.

Mitch Winehouse told British TV show This Morning that his daughter is, "Fantastic, fantastic. Her boobs are great as well." He then paused, smiled and said:

"I shouldn't have said that should I? She looks absolutely fantastic."

Asked if the operation really cost $56,000, as reported by some celebrity gossip sources, he shrugged, "I don't know. I didn't pay for it – that's all I know."

Good approach, Mitch.

It has been a turbulent period for the singer, who is now working on her third album. Supposedly. That's been what she's been saying for like two years.

She has been through a divorce, cleared of assault charges and spent many, many, months in St. Lucia as she sought to get healthy. Again, relative.

Crazed Wino

Mitch is right. Amy Winehouse looks totally fine to us here.

Mitch said she has been clean for a year, but by that he means free of crack and heroin, as she's been known to smoke weed every day. And drink beer.

"There is no total recovery," Mitch acknowledges. "It's just a recovery. If you look back to where we were just a year ago, we are on a different planet."

Getting rid of Blake Fielder-Civil had to play a part in that.

The elder Wino also addressed Members of Parliament, telling them his family had been fortunate to afford top clinics and doctors for Amy's treatment.

He is making a documentary about families coping with drug problems, and he was imparting some of experiences and anecdotes during his research.

His advice for families coping with addicts? "The best thing we can do for our loved ones who are addicted is to maintain a normal family atmosphere."

Boob jobs never hurt, either.
