Les Paul, who changed the course of music by inventing the electric guitar and multitrack recording, and had a string of hits of his own, died today at age 94.

He passed away in White Plains, N.Y. During the early 1950s, he and his second wife, singer Mary Ford, were among the most popular acts in all of show business.

Dr. Conrad Murray has been under wide scrutiny ever since Michael Jackson died June 25. The police and DEA investigation into the star's personal physician has centered around his use of Propofol, a hospital-grade anesthesia.

While that drug is believed to have killed the King of Pop on that day, sources close to the manslaughter investigation of Murray tell the Los Angeles Times that he may be charged with negligence. As in Murray essentially dosed-and-dashed.

She's still wearing a ring, and Regis Philbin said he thinks her separation will end, but don't expect Kate Gosselin to ever get back together with Jon.

On today's Live With Regis and Kelly, Regis caught Kate off guard when he said he thinks Jon Gosselin will want her back and "live happily ever after."

Sources say a DNA test shows what we already knew - that former presidential hopeful John Edwards fathered former campaign aide Rielle Hunter's baby.

The National Enquirer, which last year broke the story of Edwards' affair with the weird campaign videographer, said the test was taken after Hunter tried to get financial help from Edwards for her 18-month-old daughter, Frances Quinn.
