Two weeks after being placed under a Britney Spears 5150 psychiatric hold, Mischa Barton has left the hospital and is ready to resume working.

"I can confirm that she's left the hospital with the intention to resume production" of her new CW show, The Beautiful Life, her rep said today.

Mischa Barton was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center July 15 after calling police for "personal issues."

But fortunately, Barton appears to be making progress since the meltdown.

Ashton Kutcher, co-creator and producer of The Beautiful Life, said as much.

"I can tell you right now Mischa Barton is doing great," Kutcher said.

Mischa Barton is back on the outside ... for now.

Production on The Beautiful Life, which stars Barton as a pill-popping supermodel (somehow it seems like an appropriate casting) is set to begin Friday.

The CW had been making contingency plans in case Mischa didn't show up for filming, casting a character with similarities to Barton's Sonja Stone.

Granted, it might not get more exciting than New Moon clips that feature a shirtless Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson.

But we've uncovered the first picture of the entire Volturi clan, the group of vampires in the sequel that enforce the laws of their unique, dangerous world.

Kristen, Robert and Taylor

It's already been announced that Noot Seear will portray one of the leaders of the coven, Heidi.

She's not shown here, but British hottie Jamie Campbell-Bower is freaky in the role of Caius and Dakota Fanning looks positively evil as Jane in the promotional photo below:

The Volturi will make life difficult for Bella in New Moon, which is scheduled for a November 20 release. Can you wait that long for it?

Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, is apparently still around.

He is also apparently doing what he can to cash in on his final moments of fame by describing how he feared his wife was dying in his arms during a bender.

Fielder-Civil, who was granted a divorce from her on grounds of her adultery on July 16, told The Sun how Amy went into a seizure and stopped breathing.

He recalled: "She started having a fit on the bed. She slid down on to the floor before I could stop her. She started quivering and it suddenly grew into like a full-blown epileptic fit. I was panicking. I didn't know know how to help her."

He later notes, "I was out of it on drugs as well."

The heroic Blake Fielder-Civil described how he put the songstress into the recovery position, pulling her tongue out of her mouth to stop her biting it.

He added: "I knelt over her as she kept on fitting. But then suddenly she just passed out and stopped breathing. It was the most frightening thing I had ever seen. I felt sure I was watching her die right in front of me."

"I didn't know how to save her. I held her to me. I thought she was dying in my arms. But I managed to open her mouth and breathe air down her throat."

"At first nothing happened. So I did it again. I was feeling for a pulse because I thought her heart might have stopped. Then she spluttered - and I saw her chest rise. I was sobbing and panicking but I just felt this huge relief that she was alive."

Blake Fielder-Civil continued describing how Amy Winehouse, slipping in and out of consciousness, was unable to recognize him and called out for more drugs, before a friend called a taxi to take her to hospital, where she was placed on IVs.

Reflecting on Winehouse's troubled life, her ex-husband said:

"It's just a shame because she's very funny, very clever and she's very loving. I can think of all these good points about her. But she just put everything going for her - all that talent and personality - and hid them behind drink and drugs."

After Tony Romo broke up with her the night before her 29th birthday, he took extra precautions in shielding himself from Jessica Simpson in Dallas.

Specifically, he made sure she wouldn't be able to get near his home.

A sign at the entrance of his gated community reads: "RED ALERT!!! TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN... JESSICA SIMPSON IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS."

Red alert?

Seems a bit extreme. Maybe the John Mayer text messages set him off.

Not that Jessica wanted to stick around: The singer paid $19,000.00 on July 15 to ship 37 boxes worth of her belongings from Dallas to L.A. overnight.

Couples often break up and say they don't want to see each other anymore. But Tony Romo really doesn't want to see Jessica Simpson anymore. [Photo: Fame]

After the the couple - who began dating in November 2007 - called it quits earlier this month, a pal of Romo said that "It's been a long time coming."

Not everyone expected the news, however.

"I thought they would... tie the knot," said Romo's insane former teammate Terrell Owens, who famously slammed Jess for being a "jinx" on America's Team.

For her part, Simpson has been working out again with a personal trainer in L.A., going on movie dates with her mom and girlfriends, and trying to move on.

"Everyone needs to know hope floats... grab the strings and pull it back to you... Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please, Lord, give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace," she Tweeted.

That is pretty pathetic. No wonder her family feels bad for Jessica.

Good news, ladies: one Jonas brother is on the market!

With siblings Nick and Kevin taken by Miley Cyrus and Danielle Deleasa, respectively, Joe Jonas has made himself available to millions of adoring fans.

"Yes, it's true," Belle's rep said today of the rumor that his client and Joe had ended their relationship. "[Joe and Camilla] have broken up. There is no third party involved and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends."

Joe himself verified the break-up at a concert last night in Detroit; He changed the line "Get a rep for breakin' hearts, now I'm done with superstars" to "Get a rep for breakin' hearts, now I'm done with movie stars."

Ouch. Sounds bitter, doesn't he?

Jonas reportedly broke up with Taylor Swift in the fall of 2008, due to his feelings for Belle. The country singer and the boy band member have scarcely talked since.

He might be considered the best looking individual on the planet, but Robert Pattinson says he's pretty much the same guy that used to walk down the sidewalk unnoticed.

“I’d like to think that I haven’t changed that much," the actor said at Comic-Con last week. "Within myself, I don’t think I’ve changed. When I’m walking down the street, I look down a lot more often. It seems to keep building, the magnitude of this franchise."

Details Photograph

Not that the hunky star is complaining. He knows how lucky he has it.

"I pretty much live an almost identical life apart from being recognized. That's not exactly the worst thing in the world."

As he covers pretty much every tabloid across every supermarket aisle in the universe, Pattinson still can't believe the fame.

"It's funny, but about a year ago I'd talk to girls and no one would be interested. Then when it was announced I would be in Twilight and the book's author gave me her seal of approval, everyone seemed to change their mind. The attention I get now is just mind bending."

It's also well-deserved. Watch Robert in these New Moon sneak peeks and you'll know what we mean!

Making the media rounds to promote her new book, Getting it Through My Thick Skull, Mary Jo Buttafuoco calls her ex-husband, Joey Buttafuoco, a sociopath.

Speaking on Good Morning America today, Mary Jo discussed her relationship with Joey, and answered the question: “Why did you stay with Joey for so long?”

"Because I believed him when he said he had nothing to do with her," she stated, referencing Joey's lover Amy Fisher, who shot Mary Jo in the face in 1992.

"He was a very good sociopath and liar. When I looked it up on the Internet, and looked at sociopathic tendencies, I said 'Oh My God.' Joey fit all the criteria."

Mary Jo Buttafuoco's new book has drawn attention to the term sociopath, the definition of which is a person with antisocial personality disorder, who is unable to confirm to societal norms and exhibits disregard for the rights of others.

Mary Jo Buttafuoco is really, really trying to drive her point home, though. It's like she's trying to make it so Joey Buttafuoco comes up when you Google "sociopath."

Joey Buttafuoco released a statement in defense of being called a sociopath, stating that he would prefer to be diagnosed as a sociopath by a doctor, rather than simply termed it by ex-wife, and feels "victimized" by the accusation.

Aww, poor Joey. One could argue that Mary Jo was victimized by being shot in the face by Amy Fisher, but that's neither here nor there at this point.

Mary Jo Buttafuoco said that her son stated to her, “Dad is a sociopath, and he’s never going to change.” She calls this realization a "revelation."

Asked why she stayed with Joey 11 years after the incident until divorcing him in 2003, she said "It's never one easy thing. Life is not like that."

True. Why let a single bullet lodged in your thick skull dictate things.

Contrary to reports, Omer Bhatti says he's not Michael Jackson's love child.

But is the 25-year-old connected to the late superstar in a different way?

Michael J. Walks

In recent weeks, Omer Bhatti has been said to be Michael Jackson's "secret son," a product of a one-night stand Michael had with his Norwegian mom, Pia.

Omer says it's not true, but rather Michael was just a father figure to him while his family lived at Neverland Ranch when he was a young boy (weird, yes).

We thought that was the end of it.

But today, Star Magazine claims the biological mother of Michael's third child, Prince Michael Jackson II (a.k.a. Blanket) is ... none other than Pia Bhatti.

Is Omer Bhatti's mom Pia also Blanket Jackson's mom?

Blanket was born to an unknown surrogate in 2002. His birth mother has never been ID'd. Debbie Rowe is (supposedly) the mother of Jackson's other kids.

As for Pia Bhatti, the one-time dental hygienist lives with her husband in a middle-class suburb of Oslo, Norway, and refuses all requests for interviews.

"Pia was sworn to secrecy about Blanket," says a source. "Michael liked the mystique. He never wanted anyone to know the truth about any of his children."

The report claims that Omer Bhatti, who dazzled MJ with his moonwalk in 1996, became so close to the pop star that Jackson wanted Pia to carry Blanket.

Of Pia being Blanket’s mom, the source continues: "But you only had to see her with Blanket. She treated him as her own for one very good reason - he is."

Forget your thinking caps, movie fans.

For Jennifer's Body, the upcoming horror flick written by Diablo Cody, you just need your sexy shoes. Isn't that right, Megan Fox?

"I think I'm pretty sexy in it," the actress said at last week's Comic-Con press conference. "The movie is SO sexy! You better put on your sexy shoes for this movie!"

Jennifer's Body Actress

Megan Fox + tight black dress X vampire fangs = total hotness!

What makes the film so sexy? Fox has one hyphenated word for men everywhere: girl-on-girl.

"There's sort of a hint of, a little bit of a lesbian relationship that happens. There's a girl-on-girl kiss," Fox said of her character, a demonic high school cheerleader, and the girl played by Amanda Seyfried. "Beyond that, before every kill there is a seduction that occurs. The boys have to be seduced to get in close enough to the dead girl in order for her to devour them."

As for horror movies in general, they typically don't appeal to Fox.

"I actually have a very intense fear of the dark. he last horror movie I saw was in 2005, and I was 15 years old. After I saw it, I slept with my mother for two weeks afterwards!"

Man, how lucky is Fox's mother?!?

It is deservedly called the worldwide leader in sports, but perhaps the #1 criticism of ESPN over the years has been its unabashed and frequent self-promotion.

Now, a pair of stories over the past week and ESPN's involvement in each have made the network the story - deservedly or not - and left it under fire.

Erin and Maks in Bed

First, a hotel peephole video surfaced of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews, who was filmed in the nude without her consent. Andrews' representatives and ESPN acknowledged the grainy video was her and that they would seek civil and criminal action.

Erin Andrews was the victim of an abhorrent act, one no fault of ESPN's.

However, the network's reaction - particularly its banning of the New York Post after the paper printed Erin Andrews nude pics - was questionable, some feel.

The Post's gossip page ran an item Thursday blaming ESPN for its letter to the website hosting the hotel peephole video that ultimately outed Erin Andrews.

One columnist even wrote, "The fact is one person committed the crime, but all of us, including ESPN, contributed to this revealing peep at our culture."

First, there was the Erin Andrews tape. Then the Ben Roethlisberger case.

When a Nevada woman named Andrea McNulty filed a civil suit accusing the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback of sexually assaulting her in the hotel where she worked last summer, ESPN did not report it on TV or on its website.

Its reasoning: "A policy of not running stories based on civil suits without a criminal investigation or without conducting its own reporting."

ESPN claimed to be taking the high road by not reporting the lawsuit, but as it pertained to Ben Roethlisberger, many wondered if ESPN was refusing to only to stay in good standing with one of the country's most high-profile athletes.

Finally, three days after the story broke, ESPN reported it, saying it was just waiting for either Roethlisberger or law enforcement to make a statement.

Any news organization has the right to set standards by which it will report a story, of course. But the New York Times reported it, and given that it involved a sports figure, it's a little odd that the "Worldwide Leader in Sports" did not.

If nothing else, ESPN's impartiality and role in creating more news than it reports is a subject being hotly debated in journalism circles.
