Today host Matt Lauer has feverishly denied recent reports of his infidelity and that he and his wife Annette Roque are on the rocks after 12 years of marriage.

In comments made regarding moving out amid a cheating scandal, Lauer told People, "I have never moved out. I'm not moving out. There is no truth to that."

What he didn't mention were comments by his mother-in-law, who confirmed the blowup and the fact that Matt has left the family apartment in New York City.

Johanna Struijk told the Enquirer that daughter Annette is fine in the wake of the breakup, saying "she is happy" and she no longer wears her wedding ring!

While Johanna didn't want to discuss what triggered the split, sources say an enraged Annette accused Matt of fooling around during the Winter Olympics.

Alexis Houston was/is his alleged mistresses ... or one of them. Lauer counters he was not out partying and claims he was "in bed most nights by 7:30 p.m."

Matt Lauer: Other Women?

OTHER WOMEN? Secret life? Matt Lauer scandal refuses to die.

People at NBC - from the higher-ups in charge of Today to colleagues Bryant Gumbel and Al Roker - have Matt Lauer's back. So why won't this story go away?

While he says he hasn't moved out of the apartment where Annette and their kids live, he's not leaving from there in the early morning hours to go to work.

Enquirer reporters have staked out the apartment in the early morning hours and haven't seen Matt leave like he did in the past when he was living there.

However, Matt shows up at the Today studios like usual - meaning he's still in town and going to work, just coming from another location other than home.

One reason for the damage control? Matt has allegedly been pressured by NBC to keep the marriage going, as female viewers prefer his family man image.

The Today show has called this inaccurate and unfounded.

Earlier this year, Robert Pattinson was made into a comic book hero.

Now, it's Taylor Lautner's turn!

Big Wave

Courtesy of Bluewater Productions, "Fame: Taylor Lautner" will arrive in stores in August. According to that company's press release, it will detail this actor's meteoric rise in Hollywood and be scripted by the same author as penned "Fame: Robert Pattinson" and "Fame: Kristen Stewart."

“The Twilight series has become a pop culture phenomenon,” said Darren Davis, president and founder of Bluewater Productions. “It's transformed previously unknown actors into superstars. It seems that the same thing is happening with Taylor Lautner. We at Bluewater are happy to bring Taylor's story to his fans, and hope that his comic helps introduce these readers to the joys of graphic storytelling.”

Are you excited for this comic? Or are we in danger of Twilight Saga overload here?

Surprise, surprise: Lindsay Lohan is blaming everyone but herself for the current legal predicament she's in. The question is whether she'll pay a price for it.

Lindsay will be a no-show in court this morning because, she claims, her passport was stolen, making it impossible for her to fly from Cannes, France, to L.A.

She's due there for a probation progress report hearing in her DUI case - which has been scheduled for a long time - and which could land her behind bars.

Sources say Linds blames everyone, even her alcohol ed instructor, who she says made it "uncomfortable" for her to attend the required number of classes.

Her explanation there? The instructor was "texting that she wanted to hang out with her." As for why she's stuck in France? There's a list of peeps to blame.

Lindsay Lohan herself? Not on that list!

Lindsay Mob Scene

Lindsay Lohan: Stuck in Cannes, and in denial.

Latest intel suggests Lohan's likely return date is Friday, at which point she'll not only have missed today's court date, but will still be three classes short of compliance.

The best she can hope for is a judge who thinks late is better than never and doesn't put a warrant out. She may give Lindsa chance to surrender herself next week.

As for whether she violated the terms of her probation, if the D.A.'s office thinks she needs to do time and the judge agrees, there may be little wiggle room there.

It was possible the judge could have blamed Lindsay's lapses on miscommunication between the court and the alcohol ed program, but blowing off a court date?

That could make it hard for the court to take pity on the train wreck.

Lindsay Lohan belongs in ...

When she commented in a recent interview that she wasn't sure if beau Dominic Cooper is "the one," we thought Amanda Seyfried was just being honest.

Turns out she was being very honest indeed.

Timberlake and Biel Photo

Seyfried and Cooper are no longer dating. "Amanda and Dominic have been on and off for a while – and right now they're taking a break," a source says.

"But they're great friends and could still get back together."

While Seyfried has been promoting her new movie Letters to Juliet, Cooper has been at the Cannes Film Festival, where he was spotted talking to - RUN!!!

Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper are done ... for now.

Sorry, we wanted to give Amanda and fans a heads up before saying he was with Seyfried's former Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan, with arms around her.

Moving on with Lindsay? A move worthy of a mean girl ... or guy.

Seyfriend and Cooper met while filming 2008's Mamma Mia! and had a long-distance relationship, keeping close via Skype and meeting when they could.

"There's nothing easy about [it]," Seyfriend tells InStyle.

Apparently nothing at all. But maybe someday soon.

Embroiled in personal drama and the subject of salacious gossip, Jesse James wants to set the record straight ... in an unrelated dispute with a clothing company.

Sandra Bullock's soon-to-be former husband no longer wants to be referred to as a Nazi ... or the complete, utter jackass who cheated on her with random skanks.

Fooled By Lies

James made his plea to an L.A. County Superior Court judge, in a case where he's accused of screwing over a clothing company. The case is about to go to trial.

When it does, he wants it legally guaranteed that his personal life is not admissable. He believes that the issues below have zero relevance to the clothing line case.

Jesse James wants his personal life left out of court.

James has asked the judge to disqualify any arguments that involve:

  • His sexual behavior and/or acts involving "moral turpitude"
  • The phrase "most hated man in America" to describe Jesse
  • Any mention of the word "Nazi" or "Nazis" to describe Jesse
  • Sandra Bullock ... and/or films or Sandra Bullock pictures
  • Anything at all to do with the adoption of her baby Louis
  • Michelle "Bombshell" McGee

The first round of Kendra Wilkinson sex tape photos mostly depicted this reality star stripping for the camera. They were relatively harmless, merely R-rated.

But it's safe to say the latest batch, released this week, are RNSFW: Really Not Safe for Work (or Wife).

Deserving of a NC-17 rating, we understand why husband Hank Baskett might be upset over this video. Sorry, Kendra, but not even a second baby makes up for the fact that pictures of you doing The Reverse Cowgirl with another dude are now online for the world to see.

Consider yourself warned, readers, and ogle the pics below if you so desire.

American's favorite baby factory, who gave birth to octuplets after having six kids already, is endorsing a PETA campaign to promote neutering of dogs and cats.

Hey, they're helping Nadya Suleman pay the mortgage. Facing foreclosure, she was fresh out of options, California home loan rates being what they are and all.

The 34-year-old Octomom is being paid $5,000 to keep a sign promoting spay and neuter surgeries for critters in her garden in La Habra, Calif, until June 9.

That's the deadline when city officials say it must be removed. The sign reads: "Don't Let Your Dog Or Cat Become An Octomom. Always Spay Or Neuter. PETA."

Since giving birth to her eight babies 16 months ago, Nadya Suleman has struggled to pay bills and was in danger of losing her home like so many Americans.

Octomom For PETA

Don't let your daughters do it, either.

Her lawyer negotiated an extension on a $450,000 California mortgage bill that had been due in March, and after PETA stepped in, she made this month's bill!

She declined a more lucrative offer in favor of PETA's.

"It's really a win-win situation for everyone involved," PETA campaign coordinator Amanda Fortino said of helping Octomom and animals at the same time.

Ever generous, the group is also throwing in a month's supply of vegan hot dogs and burgers for Nads and her 14 children. That's a lot of gross hot dogs!

Octomom couldn't be happier: "I love animals and believe they should be spayed or neutered," she said at her home "Humans of course are much different."

Sure, but maybe an exception can be made. Right? Please?

Megan Fox will not play a role in Transformers 3.

In related news, THG will no longer be seeing Transformers 3.

Sexy Sucker

Following reports that the movie studio and director Michael Bay planned to cast another actress as Shia LaBeouf's love interest in the film, Fox's rep quickly released a statement and said departing the franchise was his client's choice.

“Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3," the rep said. "It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Will you miss Megan Fox in Transformers?

Fox and Bay do have a contentious history: the actress compared the director to Hitler last year. Seriously.

The third movie in the Transformers franchise is scheduled for a July 2011 release. If Fox wants to be taken seriously as an actress, it's not a bad idea to focus her career on more serious fare anyway.

Or just go the opposite direction and star in soft core porn. We'd advise the latter.

The actress will next be seen in Jonah Hex, an action flick that also features Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Will Arnett. The photo above is courtesy of the movie. Call us crazy, but we think it will do well.

American Idol viewers made the right, obvious choice last night, sending Casey James home.

The long-haired singer has come a long way since being depicted as nothing but eye candy for Kara DioGuardi, but he was clearly the worst performer on Tuesday and reacted to his elimination with humility.

"I can't believe it, man," he said after Ryan Seacrest delivered the bad news. "I'm so thankful for the opportunity. It's been an amazing journey and I'm just so honored that I'm here."

Getting Bad News

We're now left with Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox, not the most exciting final pairing, but one that should keep fans guessing about who will win next week.

Bowersox has been considered the favorite for months, but Lee has come on on strong recently, earning as much praise as any contestant all season for his rendition of "Hallelujah" on Tuesday night. We'll publish a more detailed finale preview in the coming days, but sound off now:

Who do you want to win?

As usual, the results show also featured a pair of professional performances, which may explain why your ears are ringing this morning. The screams emanating in the arena from Justin Bieber fans can still be heard in many homes.

Also, new artist Travis Garland took to the stage. What did you think of his national debut? Check out photos of Garland, Bieber and the Idols below:

Miss USA Rima Fakih instantly became the center of controversy after she won the crown last weekend, thanks to some of her stripper pole champion photos.

That wasn't enough to get her title stripped, however, and her reign has begun. Much to the dismay of some critics upset about her Muslim/Arab background.

Rima Fakih Bikini Pic

While the contestant herself has spoken little about this, stressing that her family observes both Muslim and Christian holidays, others have been very vocal.

Daniel Pipes, who publishes a right-leaning blog on Middle Eastern affairs, pointed to a supposed "surprising frequency of Muslims winning beauty pageants."

While "they are all attractive," Pipes, a former board member of the U.S. Institute for Peace, said they "make me suspect an odd form of affirmative action."

Pipes didn't theorize how shadowy beauty-pageant fixers might be greasing the skids for Rima Fakih or contestants, but other political bloggers went further.

Did Miss USA Rima Fakih benefit from political correctness?

"Miss Hezbollah is now Miss USA," declared conservative radio talk show host Debbie Schlussel, saying Fakih's Lebanese relatives had ties to the terrorist group.

Schlussel also said Fakih received financial backing from Hezbollah supporter Imad Hamad and wrote her off to a "politically correct, Islamo-pandering climate."

Conservative blogger Michelle Malkin saw a conspiracy, too - though generic rather than Muslim-specific this time. Malkin mocked Fakih as "gaffetastic."

While Fakih bungled her answer about birth control, runner-up Morgan Elizabeth Woolard of Oklahoma was asked for her views on Arizona's immigration law.

That question drew boos from the crowd before the judge - actor Oscar Nunez of The Office - could even finish getting it out, but Woolard handled it very well.

Still, Fox & Friends host Gretchen Carlson suggested that Woolard's conservative-leaning informed opinion cause the judges to exercise political correctness.

Is that why Fakih won the crown over a blonde from Oklahoma? She will keep her crown regardless, but the controversy continues to swirl regarding her victory.
