Justin Timberlake? Not a fan of celebrity gossip. Or reality TV, for that matter!

His feelings on the subject became very apparent during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, when he accepted the award for Best Male Artist by lambasting MTV for its choice of programming.

Specifically, he implored MTV to ditch reality TV and play more videos.

The girls from The Hills â€" Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port â€" were to present Timberlake with Male Artist of the Year honors.

But after Lauren Conrad announced him as the winner, things got weird.

A fourth female mysteriously showed up on stage to join The Hills girls to hand the hardware to Timbaland, who in turn gave it to Justin. Timberlake did not make any eye contact or thank any of The Hills girls. Deliberately.

"Play more damn music videos. We don't want to see the Simpsons on reality television," said Timberlake upon accepting the award, referring to lame sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. "Play more videos."

And then when accepting the award for the Quadruple Threat Award, Justin Timberlake reiterated, "I want to challenge MTV to play more videos!"

He makes a point. And this wasn't the only award show that had Justin at center stage of late. He recently won an Emmy with Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg in the Creative Arts category for their hilarious short film, "D!ck in a Box."

In Andy's acceptance speech (Timberlake was not present), he joked, "I think it's safe to say that when we first set out to make this, we were all thinking 'Emmy!'"

Andy Samberg dedicated the award to a real "up and comer" - his "D!ck in a Box" creative partner, saying Justin Timberlake's "clearly very talented and could use a break. So, Justin, if you're out there, congrats to you, kid."

Rumor has it the unofficial title of the tune was, "I Found a Way... for Vanessa Hudgens Naked Pictures to be Sent to Me."

Now that the music career of Britney Spears is officially dead, we can focus on more important topics. Such as:

• Which Vanessa Hudgens picture pose is your favorite?
• When should the U.S. withdraw troops from Iraq?
• And which girlfriend of Hugh Hefner is the best?

In the October issue of Details magazine, the Playboy founder himself answers the third question posed above: Holly Madison.

"I love Holly the most. Five or six years ago, she was simply one of seven girlfriends, but... I fell deeply in love with her," Hefner said.

Just how deeply? The 81-year-old said his relationship with Madison is the one that "will last the rest of my life," fueling speculation that he plans on marrying the often-nude model. Other pieces of celebrity gossip claim that Holly hopes to emulate Halle Berry in the pregnancy department.

She recently said that her goal was "to have kids with Hef in the next year or so and when that happens I just want it to be me and him."

Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, Hef's other two squeezes and co-stars of The Girls Next Door, shouldn't feel too badly, though. The old man thinks they're swell.

"They don't [get jealous]. But whether it's three girlfriends or seven, it's easier than one wife. They're not going to give you a hard time, because you always have an alternative," Hefner said.

It's hard to argue with that. It's also why fellow sex magnet, Tila Tequila, is starring in a reality show this fall chock full of people from both genders with whom she can get it on.

We all know Christina Aguilera is pregnant - and has large boobs as a result of it.

Nevertheless, the Dirrty singer is yet to go public with this information, and we respect her privacy on the matter. Paris Hilton, however? Not so much.

Looking for yet another way to make celebrity news headlines, the heiress who hasn't changed one iota since her stint in jail announced the following to a packed nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend:

"Congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world. You're gorgeous," Hilton said at about 2 a.m. Sunday at a Christina Aguilera-hosted party.

The singer appeared temporarily shocked, People magazine reported, as she sat in her perch in the elevated VIP booth. She sank her head into the shoulder of husband Jordan Bratman as her friends looked shocked.

Of course Xtina had no choice but to quickly recover, so she laughed along with Hilton and the crowd â€" which included Adrien Grenier, Melanie Brown, Criss Angel and cast members from The Hills â€" erupted in applause.

And we couldn't be happier for Aguilera, as well. We just hope Paris goes back to minding her own business and making sex tapes.

Congratulations to Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead! The beautiful tyke turned a year old over the weekend.

In honor of the occasion, Lara Spencer - pictured here with the proud father and birthday honoree - of celebrity gossip show The Insider spoke with Larry Birkhead:

On what he'd say to Anna Nicole Smith about Dannielynn:
"I would say, 'I hope you're proud of the way she's growing up and getting big.'"

On what he hopes to give Dannielynn for her first birthday:
"Give her another happy day in life. I know she's not going to understand everything that's going on but just something that she can say one day, 'Wow, what a cool party, what a cool dad!'"

On if Dannielynn is starting to talk:
"We've heard her say "da-da" a few times."

* The Hollywood Gossip note: Rumor has it Jayden James Federline has said the same thing, followed by the words: "rescue me!"

On keeping her mother and brother's memories alive:
"I show her pictures all the time and I say, 'This is your mommy and this is your brother Daniel.' We talk about them all the time."

On whether she resembles her late brother Daniel:
"Yeah, sometimes. Especially when she gets out of the bath and her hair is parted to the side like a little boy, she looks a lot like Daniel."

Call it the battle of the boobs. Or for the boobs. Think about it. We're talking about Pamela Anderson and her giant breasts here!

The MTV Video Music Awards prides itself on its unscripted moments, and Sunday's show was no exception: Kid Rock punched Tommy Lee.

During the ceremony.

"Tommy Lee was sitting by Diddy. [Kid Rock] just walked up and decked him," said MTV veejay Sway, who witnessed the event.

It was unclear how the fight started, and there was no immediate word on whether the copes got involved. According to an onlooker in the audience, "They had each other at the necks, they were practically strangling each other."

Another eyewitness saw Tommy Lee escorted out, "screaming the f-word over and over again." He was thrown out in front of thousands of fans.

While the fight was not televised, it was certainly a topic of conversation during the ceremony.

As Jamie Foxx came out to present the Best New Artist award with Jennifer Garner, he joked, "Someone needs to stop all of this white-on-white crime. Tommy Lee and Kid Rock fighting like black folks, it's hilarious."

As the crowd hooted, Jamie Foxx, added, "Who won? I was in the bathroom." And he noted, in jest, "Pamela Anderson has got a hard choice to make."

Anderson, of course, has been married to both rockers, who have feuded in the past. While she most recently divorced Kid Rock - in February - she still maintains a friendship with Lee, with whom she has a sex tape and two sons.

Later in the telecast, Diddy also referenced the spat between the white trash rockers before introducing the final performance:

"I was supposed to be doing this with Kid Rock, but you know, we got to stop the violence," he joked. "It's not just hip-hop artists that fight!"

Britney Spears had no comment. But she was no doubt happy that something took the attention off of her god awful performance.

It was a hell of a run, one that began with an adorable Catholic school girl teasing her way into our hearts in the "Baby, One More Time..." video.

But Britney Spears' career officially came to an end this evening.

There's nothing left in the tank. Leading off tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, Britney Spears "sang" her new single, "Gimme More." She lip-synched it (badly), which would have been okay had there been any semblance of dance moves or theatrics. Not so.

All we saw tonight was a limp, uninterested, uninspired Britney Spears, lacking the pizzazz, energy, choreography and all-out hotness that made her famous.

It's a sad day when a performer as dynamic as Spears can no longer dance or even pretend to sing her own songs. But that day is this day. So weak.

Even that body is reduced to a shell of its former self, clearly showing signs of two births. Host Sarah Silverman even joked, "Have you seen Britney's kids? They're so cute! Almost as cute as that hairless vagina they popped out of!"

Not to worry, though. With that outfit she sported tonight, Spears served notice that she's ready for the next phase of her career... Cinemax. Late night.

Fresh off her resounding defeat of Heidi Montag in The Hollywood Gossip's Tale of the Tape, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) is setting out in search of something almost as impressive - a victory in the 2008 presidential election.

Whether she can win that battle has yet to be determined, but at least Hill has picked up the key endorsement of an unlikely supporter - 50 Cent.

That's right, politics and pop culture have collided in a major way as rapper and former drug dealer 50 Cent - a man who probably was happy to see tougher gun laws passed during the Clinton administration (having been shot nine times) - weighs in on the race for the White House.

Here's what Fiddy told MTV News in a recent interview regarding his candidate of choice, Hillary Rodham Clinton:

"I'd like to see Hillary Clinton be president. It would be nice to see a woman be the actual president and ... this is a way for us to have Bill Clinton be president again, as he did a great job during his term."

Fortunately, in his statement supporting the candidacy of Hillary Clinton, 50 kept things positive and did not say he would off any Barack Obama supporters.

While Hillary is surely pleased with the psuedo-endorsement, she might take it with a grain of salt. After all, there are still 14 months to go before the election and so much can happen between now and then.

For example, if Lauren Conrad were to suddenly throw her (chic, designer) hat into the ring, you never know how the California girl would poll in key states.

We know Zac Efron has seen Vanessa Hudgens naked.

And new reports are surfacing that Drake Bell may also have seen the goods.

Perhaps with all that in mind, Craig Schelske is requiring his ex-wife, Sara Evans, to come clean about the guys she's recently slept with.

Schelske filed court papers asking whether the country singer was romantically involved with nearly a dozen people, including country singer Kenny Chesney, Richard Marx and her former Dancing With the Stars partner, Tony Dovolani.

TMZ says the 118-page document was was filed as part of Evans' ugly, bitter divorce from Schelske. It asks Evans to state under oath whether or not she admits to "an affair/sexual relationship/romantic involvement" with Chesney, Marx, Dovolani or any member of the band Three Doors Down.

Come on now. Let's hope Sara has better taste than that.

This couple has been on the path to divorce since a very public blowup between the two in a Los Angeles restaurant in October 2006; Evans allegedly found hundreds of photos on Schelske's home computer showing him making like Vanessa Hudgens nude and engaging in sex with other women.

She also claims he had an affair with the family nanny, Jude Law-style.
