Here's a pairing almost as strange as Brandon Davis and, well, any attractive female:

Katharine McPhee and Rumer Willis will be co-starring in an upcoming film, courtesy of Adam Sandler's Happy Madison productions.

In the as-yet-untitled comedy, the American Idol runner-up from a year ago and Willis will have to muster all their acting skills in order to play "sisters" in the "lamest sorority on campus," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Their distinctive characteristics?

McPhee will be a pregnant hippie and Willis a woman unwilling to remove an unnecessary back brace. Seems odd to us. But so did Ashton Kutcher ogling his step-daughter.

In addition to the Happy Madison project, both McPhee and Willis have other acting gigs lined up. Katharine has committed to indie dark-romantic-comedy The Last Caller, and Willis will join Mischa Barton and her Die Hard dad Bruce in dark comedy The Sophomore.

Of course, after her recent sexy photo shoot in Stuff magazine, fans don't care about future movies; they just wanna see Katharine McPhee nude. Sorry, folks, we don't have those pics right now.

Oil(y) heir Brandon Davis, a.k.a. "Greasy Bear," was spotted yesterday in Miami Beach. He was even more oiled up than usual, but that's not even the point of this post.

Guess having access to tens of millions carries some allure. In any case, Greasy Bear apparently landed Australian model Cheyenne Tozzi… a.k.a. Koala Bear?

Davis, who freaked the f*%k out at the wedding of his oldest brother, Alexander (a mysterious, as yet un-nicknamed bear) appears to be in better spirits than the last two times we've heard from him. Which is good to see from this Paris Hilton pal.

The same can't be said for his other brother, Jason Davis, a.k.a. Gummi Bear. Guy has some serious issues… and hates Perez Hilton somethin' awful.

It's hard to say who celebrity gossip readers hate more: Spencer Pratt or Tameka Foster?

Okay, the answer is most likely the awful fiance of Heidi Montag. But the woman Usher is set to marry isn't exactly a fan favorite, either.

Therefore, the singer felt the need to pen an open letter to People magazine in which he defended his relationship and criticized all the false celebrity news out there regarding it.

One issue: The report by the New York Post that the couple is planning to marry at the end of July in the Hamptons. While Usher won't divulge a wedding date, he says: "Since my wedding day will be special to Tameka and I, this is information that we would like to keep private."

Another topic is radio host Tom Joyner's claim that Usher threatened him. According to the New York Daily News, Joyner said Usher threatened to "whup my a--" after he joked about rumored tension between Foster and Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton. Says Usher: "I have never threatened or harassed anyone from any media format."

Finally, Usher wants to make it clear that Foster is not running his life; she isn't the alcohol to his Britney Spears. If you can follow that metaphor.

"I am happy, excited, completely clear and independent on my direction, feelings, decisions and I am not being led."

No Amy Polumbo nude? No loss of crown.

That's the conclusion reached by pageant officials, after the supposedly lewd photos of Miss New Jersey were revealed yesterday.

"I am allowed to make mistakes and move forward," Polumbo told People magazine.

The five-member Miss New Jersey board determined in a closed-door meeting in Ocean City, N.J., that racy photos sent to them were no reason to dethrone this winner. That may be due to the fact that the pics had nothing at all on Antonella Barba nude shots or anything Katie Rees does before breakfast.

One picture, which Polumbo revealed on the Today show yesterday, showed her boyfriend biting her breast through her shirt. Another picture showed Polumbo sitting with her legs spread wide apart, but looking nothing like Garcelle Beauvais in Playboy; Amy's clothes were on.

A blackmailer pulled the photos from Polumbo's private Facebook page and sent them to Miss America and Miss New Jersey officials with a note threatening to make them public unless the crown was relinquished."

They were there from the last four years of college. They were meant to be between my friends and I for memories," she said. "I never ever would have thought that someone would want to do something like this to me."

But people are cruel, Amy. Look at what they say about Simon Monjack.

The New Jersey attorney general is investigating who sent the pictures and a note claiming to be from "The Committee To Save Miss America."

"I think they are a miserable person," says Polumbo of the people or person responsible. "I am praying for them."

She also said dismissed any suggestion that revealing the photos was a publicity stunt, something to get the name Amy Polumbo spread across celebrity gossip sites everywhere.

"Absolutely not," she said. "I never thought my actions fighting against this blackmailer would lead to all of this. I've been stressed out, I am emotionally and physically exhausted from this experience. This was not a publicity stunt."

You know what they say. The alcohol-impaired, spoiled, bleach blonde, worthless apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Yes, Brooke Ashley Brinson, a cousin of Paris Hilton, was arrested late last year for DUI and - like her more famous, equally trashy cousin - also had issues with her license.

Next they're gonna tell us she's got sex photos sitting around. Yikes.

Unlike Paris Hilton, however, whose blood alcohol level was just at the .08 that constitutes a DUI in California, Brinson blew at least a 0.15 - which led to another charge of DUI.

What's more, Brooke Ashley Brinson was just 20 years old.

Paris will probably want to avoid using Brooke as a designated driver anytime soon. Brooke was driving a Benz - registered to Hilton - that allegedly caused a four-car collision on the freeway.

Since Britney Spears and Daimon Shippen were first spotted together a week ago, celebrity news sites have been trying to decipher his identity.

After celebrity news outlets first reported it, the longtime on/off girlfriend of Sean Combs has confirmed that the couple has decided to call it quits after 10 years.

"In ending this relationship, I made a decision that was in the best interest of myself, Sean and our family," Porter said in a statement that Us Weekly printed. "I look forward to moving on with my life and my career, and wish him prosperity, health and happiness in life and in love."

Diddy and Kim are parents to twin 7-month-old daughters and a 9-year-old son named Christian. Porter also has a teenage son, Quincy, from a previous relationship.

She added: "We will remain friends and committed parents to our children."

That's probably for the best anyway. It leaves Diddy with more time to boink Sienna Miller.

Spears then took it off the market two months later after deciding to move back in following her rehab stint, which she claims was "bogus."

The Tuscan Villa-style abode, located in a posh gated community, includes six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a gourmet chef's kitchen, a media room, and maids' quarters - just a tad bigger than our current celebrity news HQ.

Man, six bedrooms. That's a lot of walls. If they could talk... they'd be giving us the play-by-play of J.R. Rotem tagging Britney wheelbarrow style back in December.

The master suite (which Britney Spears may use a lot with new boyfriend Damon) boasts a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the grounds and a sparkling pool.

The "singer"'s Malibu home has also been on the market since November. It was initially listed for $13.5 million, but Spears has lowered the asking price to just under $12 million.
